Beauty in the Snow
This is a picture I took at Powder Ridge in Kimball last year. We just had a huge snow storm come through and it was beautiful. This yearâs nonexistent snow has made me realize how much I missed it. Not having snow for the holidays was something I donât remember ever happening. We take our weather for granted. Always saying in the winter âI wish it was summerâ and in the summer âI wish we had some snow.â Find the beauty in the snow. Donât take it for granted because one day it could maybe be gone.

The beauty of the night
This is a picture I took up north this summer. How often do people praise the beauty in the night time. Youâll often hear people say âwow, look how beautiful the sunrise/ sunset is.â Or âWhat a beautiful day it is outside.â But they never say how beautiful the nighttime is. Taking a breather outside listening to crickets and nocturnal creatures come alive is one of the most beautiful sounds, in my opinion. The relaxation you can find outside can be so healing. Go outside at night and see for yourself.

The Beauty in Trees
I took this photo on March 18th, 2023 in South Carolina. Not often any more can you find trees like this. Many trees are being cleared to create new roads and buildings. Especially if you live in the city, is there rarely any trees. People need to take the time to find ways to plant and restore trees. There is so much beauty in them and they have so many benefits to humans, including filtering carbon dioxide. Look at the world around you to see how badly us humans are harming not only ourselves but the nature around us.

The Beauty in Water
This photo was taken July 2nd, 2023 in Minnesota. There is a lot of water in MN so for people who live there, they might not take in the beauty of it. People always seem to notice how beautiful the sunset is on a lake or on the ocean. But, do they ever look at how calm the water gets as the sun goes down? It could be the windiest day and somehow the water turns to glass as the day is about to end. Next time youâre by the water . Just take a moment to appreciate how beautiful and calming it is.

Beauty in Manmade Structure
This Picture was taken March of 2020 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Never have I seen streets so delicately designed. I didnât notice the cobblestone streets until my dad had pointed it out. With taking more time to study the streets i had noticed the moss growing in between. It is so neat to see the life in even man made structures. Take the time to notice the beauty that shows through in everything. The more time you take the more detail that can be found.

Beauty in the Mountains
I took this picture in âÄȘao Valley State Monument, Maui, Hawaii in October of 2018. At the time I didnât really use my phone. It was for pictures and making phone calls to my parents. So, I was really able to embrace this place and all of its beauty. Mountains are very easily noticeable so someone doesnât really need to take the time to look for them. However, next time visiting mountains a person should just stop and listen to the noises that come from them. Without taking a moment to listen, I wouldnât have heard the birds that live within them or the waterfall that splits the mountains in two.

Beauty in Nature
Maria Lake State Park, Monticello, MN
October 19th, 2023
Taking a second to look at the ground you can find some things that are truly beautiful. I was on a hike and I had seen something vibrant sticking out of the ground. At first I was thinking it was a leaf. But, on closer examination, it was the biggest mushroom I have ever seen and the most colorful to say the least. When taking a moment to look at the things around you, there are some truly astonishing things that are missed.

Beauty in the clouds
This picture was taken at St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. There is so much beauty in the sky. Whether it be clouds, birds, the sun or ran. It is a diverse part of our world. The different colors depending on what day it is makes it so intriguing.

The beauty of our planet
This world is beautiful and many people take it for granted. If you ever have downtime go outside and just listen to your surroundings. Find the peace. What I found so beautiful in this picture is the calmness it gives. The stillness in the water and the trees sitting perfectly still releases stress and gives me a boost in serotonin.
This is a picture I took two years ago of Bay Field, Wisconsin on Lake Superior
