Okay, it's time for a little revelation. I used to think that the three-belt Kawasemi detail was pretty weird. Because why would that be? But I'm looking at a Soviet poster right now, and the construction girl was also wearing two belts. I dunno, it is obviously people in the 20th century were afraid of losing their pants.

So, new information, it turns out that three straps on clothes are used to distribute weight. For example, if you hang a knife, pouches with fillers and a pistol holster on your waist belt, it will be inconvenient to tighten your trousers. Kawasemi probably had a knife and some tools attached to his belt, so this design element makes sense 🤔

Oh, and I have enough thoughts for a whole mountain. I don't know what got me hooked on this story, but I literally couldn't sleep that summer, thinking about Kawasemi and Kuina, as if I had lived not my life.

Six months— such dedication whoa

That sure is a drawing of Kuina leaning very close to Kawasemi wow. The sketches of the two referenced from their concept art… the folds and details on Kawasemi’s clothes especially are so nice. Feels like I could get a sense of how tight or loose the clothes might be. Also the vibrant orange colours stand out against the blue in the fourth artwork. It feels like they’re trying to rest during an intense moment.

May I ask what the Russian handwriting says?

For the last sketch, it’s like his blindfold’s movement is suddenly stopped by how stiff his pose is, in a momentary feeling. The perspective and the intense expression really adds to it.

I miss thinking about them sometimes; thank you so much for showing me your art. Do you have any headcanons about them, or thoughts about the song/music video in general?

OH MY GOD, man, I'm so glad you answered. I thought that the contact between the countries had failed, and now I will only have to torment my friends.

Umm... hello? My name is Lili Ice Cream, and I'm an artist. I don't know what to say in the first post, but I REALLY love Jailbreak by Neru from fandoms. To tell you the truth, that's why I came here, hehe. The fandom is alive, and I'm proof of that.

In addition to Jailbreak, I love Undertale, Gravity Falls, Spy Family, Monologue of the Pharmacist, Vanpachman and much more. I hope to make friends with everyone.
