if you are afraid of cishet men, no you aren't. youre afraid of your perception of a cishet man. that person who scared you might be a trans woman, intersex woman, trans man, nonbinary person, or even "just some cishet guy."

the issue is that you genuinely do not know, and instead of choosing to work through your tendency to judge people based on their appearance, you've assigned it some level of dignity by assuming the person is queerphobic or misogynistic.

its entirely based on appearance, and we've established that you don't know someone's chromosomes, you don't know their gender, you don't know their genitals, and fuck you for trying to find out, that shouldn't apply to only queer people who are completely visible to you.

its also remarkable how differentiating between the Cool Queers!!!! And boring gross likely bigoted Cishet Men makes it significantly harder for them to find safe spaces in the situation that they do end up being queer.

I saw a video that said 1 in 4 Americans have a disability, but of that 1 in 4 only 25% identify as disabled. More people need disability awareness!! More people need to see disability as a neutral thing. Diabetes, Ulcerative Colitis, and more are all often seen as ‘sick’, or ‘ill’, or a ‘health challenge’. They are disabilities! You can call yourself disabled!

happy disability pride month! since i havent seen anyone talk about it yet, please make sure to show some love to people whose disabilities affect their eating this month. people with severe gastrointestinal issues, severe allergies who cant eat many common foods, ARFID, sensory issues, diabetes etc. as a type one diabetic i feel like its a privilege many people take for granted being able to eat what you want whenever and not be in extreme pain or have a medical emergency afterwards.
