400+ Followers Giveaway!

Holy crap over 400 followers!? How the hell did I ever come to get this many? (ʘᗩʘ’)

I seriously cannot thank all of you who are following my blog; whether you’re the people who followed my blog recently or the few who were there back when I was a newbie to Tumblr and had patience with me while I dipped my scared little toes into the pool of social media (seriously bless you for dealing with my shit…)

You guys are what makes me enjoy being on this website; meeting new friends, talking about things we have in common, and just overall having people to talk to when I feel at my lowest and loneliest. 

I never played an MMO before until I eventually got FF14: ARR because some friends of mine in real life we all like, “Hey you! Yeah, you! Get this game because you’re a nerd like us who likes Final Fantasy and we can run around and do random stuff together!” (no joke this is how it went down…). At first, I was hesitant because I never felt like the type of gamer who was into that kind of stuff. I was more the gamer into shooters and playing games like Left 4 Dead or Call of Duty, or games that challenged me with puzzles and amusing characters like Sly Cooper or Uncharted. 

Something told me I should give this game a try, so I bought it and played it with my friends. And you know what? I fell in love with this game. I loved the graphics, the story, the feel of being able to enjoy an adventure with my actual friends rather than having some random AIs follow me around like a sack of useless rocks who barely help in combat situations. In time, my real friends stopped playing the game, leaving me to play alone, and it got to a point where I wondered if the game was worth it anymore without them. Then I made new friends on the Odin server, friends who enjoyed my company, friends who made my gameplay time and my real life less lonely during the time I was struggling after my family drama. 

Yes, there was a time when there was a very toxic player on the game harassed me to the point I took an 8 month hiatus from the game, but I was welcomed back by my friends when I was ready to return. Even when that toxic player found out I came back, they were there to support me like true friends should. Even after I transferred to Balmung, I made even more amazing new friends and they are the reason why I log in practically every day ( Yes I know I have a habit of going AFK a lot but I’m usually still floating around somewhere… ಠ_ಠ ).

ANYWAYS,

The point of the matter is, that there are amazing people in this community, people who I admire for their skills, their kindness, and overall their wonderful company. I want you guys to know that even if we don’t talk all the time, or hang out in the game as much, I still appreciate that you guys take the time to make my day a little better by the little things you do. Liking or reblogging my art, waving to me in game, or even just dealing with my craziness in general.

I appreciate and love all of you so much  ❤
