Sorry if this is late but I am new here to this blog because ever since I wrote a fix it fanfic on season 2 of miraculous ladybug where Lila faces severe consequences, the person who has been role playing as them has been commenting on several stories of mine like Blue beetle and Interview with the vampire on AMC. I am so so sorry to hear you’re facing this problem. It’s really disgusting that after 4+ years, she’s still exhibiting this behavior.

Comment moderation is a great tool! I always advise to continue to delete her comments. Don’t respond, and don’t give others the chance to respond. She wants attention. This may take a while for her to get bored and move on, but it’s what we’ve gotten the best results with.

I've got this question for two time and It's quite annoying that I saw this question when browsing Chloe Bourgeois' tag. My assumption that Lila anon that disturbing fan contents was Thomas astruc itself who either want to trolling us and it doesn't rule out if he's stealing some fan content because I hear that he was stealing fan idea like Chat Blanc & Princess Justice.

Knee jerk reaction: I don’t think it’s the same person. I have seen no evidence of the Lila Anon being active on Tumblr, and this anon has nothing to do with Lila (at least I didn’t see. I stopped reading halfway through because I was getting dizzy lol)

The MO for the Lila Anon is of course Lila. Being that this story is based around Chloe and Zoe, I have my doubts.

Personally, I find the Miraculous fandom to have a large immature audience (which is normal, considering it has a very large fan base and it’s aimed at children) so I think this Anon is literally just a young, perhaps socially underdeveloped fan who wants to write fan fic and has no clue how to go about it. I don’t see malice, I just see someone who wants attention.

With the Lila anon, persistent ignoring of her comments can turn malicious and she’s verbally attacked authors.

Now, are either of these people actually Thomas Astruc? Wouldn’t that be the surprise of the decade! I’ve considered it before, honestly.

Given his behavior on the Tweeter, it’s not unbelievable that he would be hostile to fan creators. However, the Lila Anon is very hostile specifically to Marinette, which is Astruc’s main character. I can’t see him attacking Marinette unless he secretly really hated her.

And if this Tumblr anon was Astruc…why not just make an episode or special or comic or something? He has the platform to tell his story. No reason to get Tumblr users to do it, right?

As for the rumor of Astruc stealing fan content, I have my doubts. Chat Blanc is kind of a given, like what else is the opposite of Chat Noir? And Princess Justice felt a little on the nose too.

Those are just my thoughts, but I could be totally wrong.

Okay, so, I have a slightly different thing than most of the people here.

I finally got a Lila comment (which is kinda a weird thing to say given how annoying toll comments can be), but it was on an odd fic to do so. See, as somebody who's favorite character in MLB is Queen Bee, I really appreciate it when people tag their fics if it contains salt- even just a little bit of it.

So, taking pity on people who are really big fans of Lila (they're not so different from me in much of the fandom's eyes), I tagged one of my fics as "Lila Salt". Probably a dumb decision, since that's how I got the Lila commenter on it, but whatever.

The weird thing is, the fic isn't salt in the traditional sense. After all, I don't like character bashing in general and only tag it for this fandom because I know the lingo here is different than most of the other ones I'm in. So, I tagged this fic as salt so Lila fans who are particularly sensative to salt wouldn't have to see negative stuff. (I feel like that's fair, right?)

It's tagged salt because it's from Ladybug's perspective, that's all.

Anyway, should I tell the commenter that I'm actually a fan of Lila as a character and just like exploring potential plots she could be a part of or....

What's the fic so I can share it?

Personally, I wouldn't respond to her. If the fic is from Ladybug's point of view, and there's just a touch of salt against Lila, the Lila Anon is going to use it as fodder.

You could definitely try to convince her that you're not trying to Bash Lila, but the Anon might just stick around and have long tirades about how magnificent she is.

I'm not exactly sure how to approach this, but those are my theories at least. I wish you luck and be sure to keep us updated!!

Contributors Wanted

Hello friends and fans of Miraculous Ladybug. This blog has been set up to share the works of fan authors for ML who have been harassed by an anon on Ao3 masquerading as Lila.

I started this blog in 2020, when I was being harassed myself. From there, I've shared hundreds of stories, either those submitted, or ones I spotted myself.

We are ALWAYS taking submissions. We want you to get the positive feedback you deserve to drown out the harassment from the Lila Anon.

However, I, the creator of this blog, P-Artsypants, have not been reading much ML fanfic recently. That's where you come in. I'd like to give mod abilities over to other fans and readers that would be out reading fics anyway, who might be willing to share fics to this blog when they see the Lila Anon attacking them.

First comment on my new chapter!!

Considering the plot of my fic (MDC is Dead) I kind of anticipated comments from them already. Already locked anon comments on the original fic so they're commenting on another one of mine that was recently finished (No, Mr. Wayne, You Can't Adopt Me!). Oh, and btw I write for the Maribat fandom.

Glad to know they're upping my comment count lol but alas I have to persistently delete these comments.

Ugh, and you got all excited because it was the first comment for the chapter, and then it ended up being her. She's a typical spoil-sport. She might be upping your comment numbers, but she certainly isn't saying anything important.

Maribat is an acquired taste for some, but as long as Lila makes an appearance, it doesn't matter what fandom it's for.

Looks like the Anon has been more active recently. We're always taking submissions!

I only started writing for the ML fandom this year and all the ones that have some form of Lila salt were hit by Lila anon.

The first two fics I have left guest comments on purely for experimental reasons.

The third one though I just started blocking cause it feels like Lila isn't going to say anything new so there wasn't really a point.

She did comment in regards to this on the first fic.

This one was really the only annoying one and really uncalled for. I wanted to reply but I just deleted it.

My policy is that it's always best to just delete her comments. No one else interacts with them, and she doesn't get the satisfaction of going back and seeing them there!

Sometimes she can be just mildly annoying or cringy, but when she insults the author themselves I get annoyed on their behalf!

The little troll tried to comment on one of my fics only to find the comments locked to non-registered users, so it found the 1 fic in another fandom that was unlocked and posted there.

I deleted immediately since this pathetic loser is not worth the time or effort. They're such a sad little loser.

Hi, so I'm writing a 'Lila wins wish but still faces consequences' series called the Wish series. I'm currently working and posting the second story. This Lila anon has been around the first story and I had just assumed it was a normal commenter who thought it'd be funny to claim to be Lila, so I didn't question it when they popped up for the second story. At least until they left the first comment.

It was on a chapter where Lila faced real consequences and was removed from the story by being pulled out of school after hurting Adrien and getting no support. They started to hound to me to answer their question and since it wasn't their first comment on this second story, I was getting tired of the way they worded their comments, so I called them out, which turned out to be a bad idea, as seen in the second comment.

They've even now gone to a completely different fandom story to bother me. Dark Phantom is a My Hero/ Buko no Hero Danny Phantom au fic, has nothing to do with ML. I heard you guys aren't active much but thought you should know this person is still harassing creators. If I had known, I wouldn't of given them attention but here we are.

If anyone is interested in the story, it's a Lukadrien story called A wish for another life and the sequel Wish come true.

wow wow wow!! Man, she is just brutal and cruel. There's no reason to get this nasty about fanfiction.

To put it into perspective, I'm watching a lot of Paternity Court for fun and the people in these shows, fighting over the parentage of their children, aren't as nasty as this anon.

I'll give you the recommendation I give everyone. Just ignore and delete. Do not engage anymore. She'll post over and over for a while, and it will feel like it's not working, but eventually she will give up.

Well. I was hit again. After three years, and being out of the fandom for at least one year.

So old stories aren’t off limits to her either. I wonder if she’s running out of new fics to comment on that she’s going back.

Also, I have comment moderation on this fic because of her. She’s hit it several times.
