I’ve always had issues with my body, but the boyfriend that made me feel the best (not the best boyfriend I’ve ever had) about my body, was one that stood me in front of a mirror naked.

He told me to look at myself. I couldn’t bear to look at myself. But I did watch his eyes look at my body. He stroked my stomach, my legs, my breast… and he told me how each part of my body was beautiful.

I don’t miss him. But I do miss how he made me feel about myself.
