I’m new to your blog, is there a story behind the mouth scar? 👀👀

glad  somebody  noticed  -  !!  and  there  is  actually  (  including  a  scar  very  few  also  know  about  hidden  beneath  his  armor  ).  nothing  too  extraordinary  compared  to  the  one  on  his  chest  however.

Steel  clashed  against  steel,  the  sharp  song  of  their  blades  ringing  through  the  training  grounds.  Their  fellow  cadets  watched,  some  with  curiosity,  others  with  unease.  The  instructors  had  long  ceased  interfering  —  duels  like  these  were  inevitable,  and  at  times,  necessary.

The  former  council  president,  Madeleine  Cookie,  fought  with  his  signature  confidence  —  elegant  and  composed  -  his  golden  locks  barely  disturbed  as  he  parried  blow  after  blow.  But  his  opponent  was  relentless.  A  strike  came  dangerously  close,  forcing  him  back,  and  for  a  fraction  of  a  second,  he  faltered.

It  was  enough. A  quick,  deft  flick  of  a  blade,  and  the  edge  grazed  the  corner  of  his  mouth.  The  pain  was  sharp,  immediate,  though  not  debilitating.  Jam  welled  at  the  wound,  a  stark  contrast  against  the  pristine  uniform  he  wore.  The  duel  came  to  a  sudden  halt.

the  scar,  though  minor,  became  something  more  than  just  a  mark—it  became  a  reminder of  the  skirmish,  of  the  rivalry  that  had  sharpened  him,  of  the  Academy  that  had  forged  him  into  the  Paladin  he  was  meant  to  be.  He  never  spoke  of  resentment  regarding  that  duel,  never  harbored  ill  will.  If  anything,  he  carried  the  scar  with  pride  —  an  unspoken  acknowledgment  that  even  the  most  disciplined  warriors  could  bleed  (  jam  ?  cookie  logic  )  and  learn  from  it.

madeleine’s four appendages of wings just fluffing up depending on his emotion. especially since he handles light magic, he kind of loses weight balance when having four extra pounds on his back and they even have their own set of nerves and movement.

👋 Not really playing with that Oh So Lustrous hair, but it seems Pure Vanilla is wiping away a spot on one of the wings of Madeline's headress! "My apologies, this scuff has just been bothering me."

❝  a  scuff?  on  me?  ❞  he  placed  a  hand  dramatically  over  his  chest  as  if  he  had  been  deeply  wounded.  ❝  how  positively  tragic.  i  shall  have  to  ensure  my  brilliance  remains  uncompromised  at  all  times.  ❞  he  delicately  takes  the  golden  winged  headdress  from  pure  vanilla’s  gracious  hands.  madeleine  tilted  his  head  upward,  allowing  a  theatrical  sigh  to  escape.  ❝  i  suppose  it  is  fortunate  that  i  have  you,  ever  vigilant,  pure  vanilla  cookie  to  maintain  my  perfection.❞  he  adjusts  it  upon  his  head.

❝  though,  if  you  wished  to  fuss  over  me,  you  needn’t  have  found  an  excuse. ❞

warm  is  the  glow  of  candlelight  —  flickering  across  the  room,  casting  soft  shadows  on  the  polished  wooden  floor.  madeleine  sat  on  the  edge  of  a  cushioned  bench,  his  posture  relaxed  yet  poised,  the  worn  wooden  gittern  resting  in  his  lap.  fingers,  adorned  with  pristine  white  silk  gloves,  plucked  at  the  strings  with  careful  precision,  coaxing  a  wistful  melody  into  existence  —  a  tune  steeped  in  quiet  nostalgia.

behind  him  he  allows  the  brush  to  glide  through  his  long  thick  hair,  and  he  sits  with  gentle  patience,  feeling  fingers  weaving  through  golden  curls,  brushing  each  strand  with  meticulous  care.  the  long  locks,  equivalent  to  color  of  the  freshest  baked  browns  and  yellow,  tumbled  like  waves  over  his  shoulders,  soft  and  untamed.  he  hummed  quietly  as  pure  vanilla  worked,  the  sound  blending  with  the  song  drifting  from  his  gittern.

❝  are  you  braiding  my  hair  ?  ❞  he  spoke,  his  fingers  still  gliding  over  each  string  with  meticulous  effort  in  memorizing  the  song.  ❝  why,  you’ve  certainly  saved  me  time  on  perfecting  my  hair  the  following  dawn.  ❞

me thinks this paladin is graysexual, which describes someone who rarely experiences sexual attraction or only under specific circumstances. he’s still a knight commander devoted to his duties, experiencing attraction infrequently but isn’t limited by gender when they do.
