" — senator? ”   that face is familiar, the spitting image of the woman that anneli had been charged with protecting just before the order had been enacted. the knight that typically kept her guard was on another mission to the outer rims, a place she’d end up — where she was rumored to end up then.   “ senator amidala? ”   if this was not the senator, then maybe a relative of hers — they would have to forgive her for the mistake if she was incorrect.    / /     @fearlessenator​​​

" you are a jedi. ”   the words are not a question and boarders on something more accusatory. his is a force signature she is not familiar with, one that she had not felt around the temple before.   “ how did you survive? ”   she asks, brow creased in confusion. she had been ripped from the force, knew that pain and never wanted to experience it again. she feared she may. if she was alive, pulse quickening beneath her skin, there was a possibility that she could die again. that she will suffer that same fate again.      / /     @forcemasterjinn​

ANYA CHALOTRA // have you met ANNELI WICKPARR yet? SHE is a TWENTY SIX year old CIS WOMAN HUMAN. they’re originally from CORELLIA and now show loyalty to THE JEDI/THE REBELLION. they are best known for being a JEDI KNIGHT, and i hear they’re pretty COMPASSIONATE yet also UNRELENTING at times; i hope they survive the galactic civil war.

𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙿𝙰𝚂𝚃

force sensitivity makes its presence known at odd times; never consistent from child to child, it is nearly impossible to tell if a child will have force sensitivity until it happens. sometimes these happenings are softhearted, innocent in nature and sometimes — against the belief of the jedi order — they come with large displays of emotion. the latter happened when anneli was nine, a late bloomer in that of force ability. an outburst of anger, one directed at her mother, threw the woman from the docks of corellia and into the ocean. the force had rocked through the child, taking her breath away and sending her to tears. 

word travels faster than lightspeed, given the public display, and soon she is whisked off to coruscant to join the other younglings. she never forgave her mother for giving her up; a problem the woman would rather not deal with. anneli has not seen her since that day. in the years following, that anger dulls but does not birth forgiveness. she has learned the ways of meditation, the ways of sabers, she has learned to be good — to harness the power that her mother pushed away. 

her process is a delayed one, not having been brought to the temple until she was nine. she remains a youngling until she is about sixteen, then named a padawan. she learns though, forces herself into her studies. at the age of twenty six, she becomes a jedi knight — only a year or so behind her peers. perhaps they knight her too early, perhaps they send her on her own too quickly because she does not come back from her mission to er’kit. her troop, assigned to her before going to the outer territory planet, turns on her. she is slain on a desert planet far from home. 

𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙿𝚁𝙴𝚂𝙴𝙽𝚃

waking up on chandrila was disorienting, to say the least. sun burn does not mark her cheeks, robes contain blaster bolt burns and holes, but she is not injured. she wonders, idly, if this is what the worlds beyond death look like — close enough to home to be comfortable, but certainly it couldn’t be perfectly right. it is strange to see celebrations, to see vendors and smell familiar foods. anneli did not believe in second chances, so she could not wrap her mind around being granted one. 

𝙿𝙴𝚁𝚂𝙾𝙽𝙰𝙻𝙸𝚃𝚈

anneli is hardheaded on a good day and antagonistic on a bad one. given that she was such a late bloomer in the force, she is used to having to prove herself and her worth which lends itself to a personality that does not mesh terrible well with the ideals of the jedi. with that being said, if you happen to stumble upon the things that she actually cares about, she will soften. you will get to see who she is beneath the surface and the armor that she has surrounded herself with — good luck getting there though.
