terrible post time

first caller is sobbing. she is out of gauze pads. she had surgery on her vagina this week. the hoses are coming out of her body. she can wring out her current pad. a bloody gel comes out. she seems to expect no response until monday and is relieved when i tell her ill be paging an on call.

the call i just got off that made me have to write some of it down... they have a creamy, green pus coming from their incision. thankfully they did not tell me where.

this job has no medical training. nothing special other than do good customer service. i have to talk to people who are asking me if they should call 911 because their mothers pulse is faint.

this is all a big boo hoo first world problem venting. im tired of hearing this sick shit. i cant help but FEEL it and it eats up all my energy
