Hey it’s ace week and you’re local ace has something to say! I’ve been out as ace for 3 years now and it’s still a big part of my identity that I’m proud of so here’s a lil something for those who need it!

This makes a lot of sense even as a theory. Personally i don’t find Ashfur’s return as a good theory,even when there is a lot pointing at him, somethings just doesn’t make any sense at all.  But this version of it that i can accept, cause it does explain more of the other stuffs too. 

WARRIOR CATS SPOILERS AHEAD

I have a theory. In the most recent arc of Warrior Cats, Bramblestar’s body has been possessed by an imposter. And it’s all pretty much agreed upon in the community that it’s Ashfur, since he ticks most of the boxes. I agree with it. But some things don’t add up. Certain memories that Ashfur should have pretty clear and precise but they aren’t for him. Like how he keeps confusing territories by the lake and the forest. How he needs a ton of reminders of how things work. He should know all those things just fine. And how he really loves Squirrelflight again. And that got me thinking. And I had a crazy idea.

So if I remember right, when cats go to Starclan they can choose to forget painful parts of their life. That’s why Ashfur wasn’t super hostile in Starclan before and barely reacted to cats he was at odds with when alive. He’d forgotten all the drama from the later half of his life. But where do those memories go? We all just figured *poof memories gone* right? But what if that was wrong? What if those memories didn’t disappear, but turned into something else? Like whisps of the cat’s forms, but more see-through than the actual cat in starclan. And the more you forget, the more solid and “real” the whisp is. I think I know where those tend to go too but I’ll get to that later. But I think THAT’S who is in Bramblestar’s body right now. Not the Starclan resident Ashfur, but all of the things he chose to forget.

Why this makes more sense than just plain Ashfur:

Ashfur himself isn’t special. He wasn’t a prophecy cat and was never super powerful. For him to suddenly be able to do all this chaos would be weird. But one thing that does set him apart from the rest is his forgetting of his painful memories. Now, I’m sure Ashfur isn’t the only Starclan resident to choose to forget parts of his life. Hell, Mudclaw probably did too. But it’s not common and usually is only a few memories, which is why living cats don’t know about it/talk about it. But Ashfur probably chose to forget A LOT. More than most. His pain all really started at the Lake territories with his love for Squirrelflight. So he chose to forget most (not all) of that time. His love included. But he probably chose to forget things from the other territories too. Like Brindleface’s mauling and the destruction of the forest. If I’m right about the workings of the forgotten memories and Starclan Ashfur forgot all that, all of his love and hate for Squirrelflight included, it would explain why the imposter has some memories of the both territories but confuses them, why he remembers some cats but not others, and most importantly, WHY HE STILL LOVES SQUIRRELFLIGHT.

Why now and never before:

(Meta answer: New authors, new Starclan rules.) So I think this huge amount of memories was a first for this “system” of forgetting painful pasts. And he forgot not just memories, but certain emotions too. (Love and hate for Squirrelflight) So instead of a weak anguished and sad whisp, it became a more powerful spirit, sort of like a Starclan cat but not the same, just like Shadowsight observed. He’s full of all of those memories, all of Ashfur’s hate and all his love for Squirrelflight. And that’s why he’s behaving with such malice. He’s full of hate and pain.

But where did these usually go? Surely we’d have seen them before?:

(Meta answer, this was all only just thought of by the new authors, ignore it.) More thought out answer, Shadowsight found a strange pool in the dark forest in the most recent book, “A Veil of Shadows”. So I think that the pool Shadowsight saw (that he believes is currently trapping the MIA Starclan) is usually where the Imposter (Lets just call him Forgotten Ashfur) and the rest of forgotten memories were kept. Forgotten Ashfur only escaped it because the dark forest is now basically empty and abandoned after The Last Hope. Forgotten Ashfur, who was more powerful than the other forgotten memories, took his chance and escaped.

How does he know of cats like Dovewing breaking the code?

(Meta answer: Poor writing) After The Last Hope and escaping the pool, he took to observing the clans and picking his targets. That’s when he saw and learned about codebreakers like Dovewing. That or he heard about them from other wisps. Not sure about this.

Why this makes sense for the missing Starclan situation:

Remember the pool I just mentioned? It really is Starclan trapped there right now (I don’t know why or how.) And all the fading Starclan cats that Harestar saw when he died and came back from Starclan? I think those are the rest of the forgotten memories. They’ve switched places somehow. That’s why Harestar described Starclan as barren and empty, and why the fading cats were crying in anguish and despair. They are painful and sad memories given form, but there aren’t a lot since most Starclan cats don’t choose to forget. And they are fading because they aren’t the real deal and don’t have many memories.

Forgotten Ashfur is a stronger than those. He has almost enough memories to make himself “real”. And he is new sort of enemy that Starclan wasn’t prepared for. One of a kind. And he was only just given the opportunity to escape, the means to gain a powerful body and the perfect time to do so.

Guess who literally looked their profile, consisting of a lot of re-blogs and random old art and cleaned some of it? I did not know that i re-blogged a lot of stuff. Now i cleaned the old things that i did not want(including some of old arts i posted here but not all) and this was a step for becoming more active here. Now there are still stuff i did not cleaned cause i want to be able to access them. Also most of the old art i deleted, i have up in deviantArt still, and not planning to delete from there. I use deviantArt as an general archive of my art, and unless i extremely don’t want it, i don’t storage/delete any art i have on there. I will try to be more active on Tumblr, i will try to learn how to use it better. With deviantArt changing site system, there were a lot of people i know, who randomly left and scattered around different sites such as Tumblr, Insagram, and Furaffinity. Also a lot of people posted their Discord names/ servers. And I wanna see their art and follow them in general, so here i am on Tumblr. 

I also have an Instagram but i don’t use it much. I do have Discord and i am the most active there; due to playing games, texting and voice chatting, but i wanna give Tumblr a try as posting art and such.
