Growing Up
Life is all about choices and the experiences gained from those choices. Some left lasting scars and others have brought great joy. I find there are some in both categories that are difficult to let go. Does one only move on when you have truly learned from them? Why do some remain and others do not? May I hit rewind please? No, no “do-overs” here. Just keep learning and moving forward. I think about Charles Dickens’ book A Christmas Carol as we enter this holiday season. As with Jacob Marley I wear the chain I forged in life. It’s not as big as Jacob’s, but I would probably benefit from a visit by the 3 spirits of Christmas. Enjoy growing up. Enjoy those around you during this journey. May your experiences bring great joy and leave less scars. God bless us, everyone.

Knowing When

Thanksgiving
While the world seeks balance, my equilibrium is already found when surrounded by my family. There is much to be thankful for.

Priorities
Text from my wife says..."Call me when you have a minute." I call right away to find out the she had just been in a car accident. 3 of our children were with her. All were uninjured, but shaken up. The car can be fixed. Left work to go to them. They are traveling out of state. Priorities.

Communication
