I have been sitting over here silently weeping like a crazy lady over your illuminated faces and soaked wet heads, fresh out of that water ... it is surely the best decision of your life! Not the easiest, but the best. Be encouraged the morning that your although you got baptized one time, your salvation isn't a one day event. You get to live out a life now that is beautifully attached to your Savior, and there's nothing better. I love you all! ❤️

If you're feeling a little dorky or uncool or kind of useless or a little bit discouraged today, this one is for you. I recently caught myself doing that thing. That "I wish I were..." thing. I wish I were more like *insert name here*. I wish I were *insert trait here*. I wish I were, I wish, I wish, I wish. But God tapped me on the shoulder and challenged me to remember I Am. Not who I am (or who I am not, for that matter). But to remember THE I Am. To remember who I am in I Am. Sorry, bet you didn't know you'd be getting a riddle. But really! Because all the good things that I am not are wrapped up in I Am - in the person of Jesus. And all the good things I am are because of Him, too. So maybe we should just embrace the mosaic of things that we are and that we are not. Maybe we should learn to let Jesus fill in the gaps and give Him the glory in the gifts. So yeah, I'm not cool. Neither are you, probably. Actually, you probably are. Go you. But cool or not, He loves us anyway. And that's even better than the Super Bowl. #soulscripts

When we live within these lines and do it all while gazing in the sweet face of our savior, saying back to Him, "Because You did ALL that You did for me. Because You didn't have to, yet chose to, knowing I would make wrong choices along the way and that would only hurt your heart more ... because of all of that ... because I am a part of Your church which is your Bride, I will live my life to emulate you and make you proud. You saved the world. The only thing I can do is lay myself at your feet and ask what You would have me to do. Your Great Commission is to Love others as we have been loved. Not just those we want to love, or those that look like us, or act like us ... everybody. Help us to walk in that, Jesus. We love You."
