Me: I have anxiety
What most people think I have: I'm shy and can't talk to people. I'm awwwwkwaaaard.
What I actually mean: I have full blown panic attacks which include heart palpitations, breathing problems, shaking, sweating and constant fear that I'm going to die when faced with situations I find uncomfortable.

Hey friends, If you're planning on visiting six flags anytime soon, just a heads up, the Bahama blaster is not anxiety friendly. Let me explain. I have raging anxiety, but I love roller coasters, especially water coasters. The Bahama Blaster is a slide that starts in a capsule, it has a glass door and a glass floor that drops out from under you and you slide down a steep drop from the tube into the landing area. When it's your turn to ride you are sealed in the capsule which on it's own isn't necessarily triggering, but once you are sealed inside there is a speaker that plays heartbeat noises that echo off the capsule walls. Once the floor comes out from under you, you end up in a tunnel that is half full of water, where you're going too fast to catch your breath after the drop I personally almost had a panic attack, but was able to keep it at bay. I liked the ride but as someone with anxiety it was really overwhelming.

Hi friends, PSA time! If you have a minute and you go outside often PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check the date on your sunscreen!! Most people aren't aware that sunscreen expires after 3 YEARS... Most are in a date format like this. The first 2 numbers are the year it was made, the next 3 are the date of the year Ex. Mine was made on the 108th day of 2013 aka 4/18/13. This form works for ALL Banana Boat products, and most Hawaiian Tropics. Different brands have different ways of telling... Copper tone is different, their format is 4H103CF the first number is the year, the first letter is the month, the third set is the lot number and the last set is the manufacturing plant... Ex. 4H103CF means made in August '14 and it's good for 3 years from the manufacturing date!

PSA: for chlorine hair
Guys, the Suave for kids shampoo called Swim and Sport works awesomely! And it made my hair soft, even after I was in chlorine water… And it’s only like $2… Go forth and use good shampoo

One of my weirdest saves: It was the very last day of the season and I was working Wave Pool, so the rope came out while I was at Deep, and the TL didn't want to get wet and it was hot as balls, so i'm like take my spot i'll go in, so I did and just as I was about to scan back in to my spot this guy just falls off his tube and starts drowning. I've never had a save with the waves turned off so it was the strangest thing to see a grown ass man flailing around, LOL. What's your best save?
We have this pool that goes from deep to shallow with a course in the middle and one guy starts straying into more deep water so his friend tried helping him. Moral of story right as I pass the tube to the guard they start going under and we both had to jump in.
