SUMMARY ! march 7th finds out you like someone. and as your best friend, it’s only right that she has to give her input on whether or not she approves of him.

march 7th’s thoughts on . . . DAN HENG !

immediately tells you that she already had her suspicions. and now that you confirmed it, it makes her all that more excited. you having a crush on dan heng is just what she expected. she’ll go on and on about how you two would make a great couple because he opens up more to you. now she gets a little sneaky and begins to make up excuses whenever missions come around so that the two of you can go together. it’s her own way of being a mastermind. the more time you two spend together, the closer she is to seeing you and dan heng start dating. yes, march has dubbed herself as your personal wingwoman. so is the duty of being your best friend.

march 7th’s thoughts on . . . CAELUS !

of course she finds it cute that you have a crush on caelus. and it all makes sense to her now. she constantly hears you and caelus making the same kind of jokes, watches you two play games together on your phones, and on rare occasions, she’ll find you rummaging through trash cans with caelus. though she doesn’t know why you’d go to such lengths and go through the trash cans with him. admitting your feelings for the newest trailblazer will only make march relentlessly tease you about it in the best way possible. so whenever caelus invites you to join him in whatever shenanigan he has planned for the day, she’ll send a quick wink your way.

march 7th’s thoughts on . . . SAMPO KOSKI !

she’s mentally judging you. definitely finds this as a “to each their own” type of situation. out of everyone you guys have met, the one you have feelings for is sampo. march isn’t too fond of him despite how much he has helped them during their time in belobog. she does have a few doubts here and there, but if he’s currently the one who you’re interested in, she’ll go along with it. march has to observe the way he acts before making any big decisions like setting you two up. she can tell the feeling’s mutual by the overly flirtatious comments sent your way or gifts you receive by sampo when visiting belobog again. she’ll sometimes peek over your shoulder and see some messages coming in from him, asking when you’ll come back to see him. she could grow used to him so let her work her magic and you’ll be with him in no time.

march 7th’s thoughts on . . . JING YUAN !

the general of the luofu is a tough decision. although she believes he’s a great choice considering his high rank and popularity, it’s also a bit of a downfall. she saw some heavy chemistry between you both back when the express was currently at the luofu. she didn’t have enough time to make some comments but she knew you’d end up having some sort of feelings towards him. she’s only worried about the cons that could come. like the fact jing yuan can become a busy man within seconds. would he make enough time for you? no, he needs to because someone like you deserves it. march refuses to let her best friend settle for anything less than what she’s worth. march can trust that you’ll be in good hands with jing yuan.

march 7th’s thoughts on . . . ARGENTI !

it’s a very interesting choice in her opinion. though she understands why you’d end up gaining feelings towards him. it had to be that compliment he gave you the very first time the express met him. “a beauty that was sent by the goddess idrila herself for him to praise”. very poetical that it had the entire crew speechless for a few seconds. march hasn’t stopped bringing it up since that happened because you had never gotten that flustered before. she can only imagine all the other compliments argenti has sent your way when they’re not around. whenever you’re smiling at your phone a little too hard, thinking no one is watching, she’ll head over your way asking if your boyfriend’s the one making you all smiley. march doesn’t even need to be your wingwoman for this one. she knows the knight will handle it all on his own.

I think there is something extremely charming about a… curious Dr Ratio.

Sure— his intelligence is unparalleled, sharp tongued, an eccentric temperament, a renowned scholar. Yet hes never felt quite as intrigued by something.. someone as much as he has you. Like right now, as his eyes focus on the way you fumble with the book in your hands, desperately trying to find the page that he’s referring to despite the way you seem to be flustered beneath his gaze.

You’re quite an intriguing one, though Ratio is quite unsure as to why that is. Why he’s found himself thinking of you, wondering about you. Was it strange for a genius to ponder on such things?

He’s lost count of the amount of instances you’ve misplaced your notes or your pen, he’s had to lend you his quill more times than he can count on his fingers. Yet, he’s never once denied you of it— he’s always somehow ended up right there when you need him most.

Is it truly because Ratio finds your disorganisation to be charming? How banal—

You’re messy, scatterbrained, constantly fishing around in your bag for things that have gone forgotten. You’re forgetful and clumsy… yet, kind and hard working. You’re interesting. Maybe that’s why he’s found himself taking a space closer to you as he watches you work.. eyeing your process and he must admit your brilliance can be unparalleled when you choose it to be.

Yes, maybe that’s the reason he’s found himself trying to meet your gaze more often than not. Why your proximity has become closer in the months that you’ve worked alongside him. He only wishes to reward your efforts with praise… that is all. It must be.

“Sorry, Doctor. Did I do something wrong again?” Your voice tears the man opposite you from his train of thought as he realises his position. While inside of his own mind, he seems to be wearing a particularly troubled expression… furrowed brows and handsome features pulled into something almost disappointed.

Your hands almost shake with it. Ratio notices that, and it urges him to clear his throat as he allows his face to relax.

“It’s nothing you need concern yourself with. I’m feeling a tad weary is all.” His response earns him a blink from you. A curious look— your own expression is gentle, akin to a softness one may expect from a rabbit.. a lamb. Your fingers are still resting inside the pages of your book and he wonders if they’ve always been so small.

They probably don’t compare at all to his own.

But before Ratio can allow himself to think any further, he stops himself with a sigh. It’s long and drawn out as his fingers pinch the space between his brows and he turns away from you.

“If we may, I’d much rather pick this up again tomorrow. When we are both at our best.” His shoulders drop and he feels you fumble with the almost comically large book in your hands before you place it down on his desk. Your voice is sweet when you answer him back, although he finds it to sound almost… disappointed.

It lacks your usual enthusiasm. Has he done something to upset you?

“Oh.. okay! See you tomorrow then.” But you smile at him when he turns to offer you a look goodbye, and despite the way he doesn’t feel a response to be necessary. Something in him wills him to say something anyway, as if to prolong this a little longer— for a reason still unknown to him.

“Indeed.”

You’re quite an intriguing one. And that makes it all the more frustrating.

FLUFFTOBER EVENT day ; 16 ! ⪼ welcome to an event hosted by my mutual, @lia-lillies in which me and some friends are going to be writing a couple of drabbles that fit the theme of halloween.

TODAY’S HOST : satoru gojo

CONTENTS : reader has cough, more fluff idk, a little bit of angst, just crack!

“boo.” your boyfriend, satoru ‘sneaks’ up on you, making you both let out heartily laughs even though you saw him coming from a mile away, your brief coughing dying down to full-blown laughter as satoru’s forehead hits yours.

“baby don’t do that!” you push him away, leaving a pout on his lips. “you’ll catch my fever.” you scold him, yet your bratty boyfriend only rolls his eyes, claiming his spot next to you carelessly.

“who cares?” he leans his head into your collarbone, unfortunately there is nothing you can do about his stubborness. this year, you wanted to spend halloween with your beloved — but even satoru can’t shy away from his duties as the clan head, you urged ‘its fine’, ‘its cool’ but the look of betrayal on your face made his stomach crawl.

he planned an entire date a few days before he had to leave so that he wouldn’t have left you completely disappointed, but the cold weather this year around caught up to you, you did feel bad knowing how much money he probably splurged for the date, but your boyfriend always makes amends.

“you wanna go again, sweet cheeks?” he stood up from the bed, grinning as he flops the white blanket over himself again. “baby thats not even scary now.” you joke, laughing at satoru’s offended face.

“ill show you scary.” he turns the lights off, his vibrant blue eyes now poking through the blanket.

“h-hold on, babe! turn the lights back on!”

“baby, these sweaters are perfect!” you flash your husband kento’s eyes with your phone at 3AM, brightness probably set to the highest — maybe he should start putting you on a sleep schedule.

he lets out an exhausted groan. “I appreciate the sentiment, but may we please talk about this tomorrow, dear?” he know’s how excited you are for halloween, but having to stay overtime at work these past few days has not helped with his sleep, and he would rather not deal with your antics right now.

“oh come on, kento! just one look, pleasee?” there you are, shoving the phone in his face again. well, looks like he has no choice, right?

“Mhm.” he gives your phone a half-hearted glance, drowsy eyes blinking a bit. “I’m sure no matter what it is, it will suit you perfectly, dear.” before you knew it, he was already snoring. a quiet giggle escapes your mouth — leaning down to press a kiss on his temple. “goodnight, ken.”

sorry to be negative on the dash but..... y'all need to be nicer to fanfic writers. we all know interactions are decreasing, and even during the nine months i've been on here, i've noticed a decrease.

tell writers you like their works. comment on their works, reblog their works.

some of you act so entitled, and idk if you've noticed but you're literally making writers miserable. it makes me so sad to see my mutuals deactivate because the joy of writing has been taken away from them by ungrateful readers who are constantly demanding more, more, more, to the point where people are experiencing burnout and anxiety because they can't keep up with the constant unrealistic demands.

reminder that even though it takes you five minutes to read 1k words it might've taken the writer hours to get the words down, proofread, edit, and make the perfect fic layout.

some of you complain that there are no "good" fics anymore, yet you do nothing for the fandom, do nothing to support writers and just hide behind anon and blank blogs, complaining about every little thing till you've driven all writers off this site.

it's so tiring. please be kinder. we're all trying our best here.

your lover had been quite busy lately. he was a very dutiful man after all. so what better way to relax than to surprise him with a movie night, with just you and him?

that’s why you quickly got to work with preparing the snacks, grabbing the fluffiest blankets and putting them on the couch, and picking your guys’ favorite movie. you had some time left before your lover would return home.

finally, you heard the front door open and being closed gently. you were eagerly awaiting his reaction to the little surprise, hoping he would appreciate it.

“my my, what is this cozy setup, my beloved?” he grins as he sees the popcorn, your favorite movie, cozy blankets, and of course, you.

“thought you might appreciate a little relaxing evening, you’ve been so busy lately, love” you smile and pat the space next to you on the comfy couch.

“that is very thoughtful of you, my love. whatever would i do without you?” he smiles sweetly. your lover sits down next to you and wraps his arm around you, pulling you in close and kissing your forehead sweetly.

“my beloved… please pick up, please…” he says as he stares at his phone. your lover had been away on a business trip, much to his dissatisfaction as he had to go days without you.

after a few more rings you finally picked up, turning on the camera so you could see each other.

“hi, love” you say and chuckle as you could practically see him melt. he was grinning ear to ear, delighted that he could finally see you, albeit on a screen, it was truly better than nothing.

“i miss you like crazy, you don’t even know half of it, my beloved. i had boring meetings all day and a sad and lonely dinner all by myself, i didn’t want to dine with my business partners. you were in my mind all day long.” your lover admits with a cute pout, wrapping his blanket around him to mimic your embrace, even if it was not even nearly close to a fraction of your warmth.

your lover paused for a bit to silently admire you before he continued. “what were you up to? did you miss me? did you think as much about me as i did about you?”

“what an onslaught of question, dear” you say with an adorable grin, your lover was truly adorable.

“but yes, i have been thinking about you all day. i’ve been doing my normal stuff as usual.. and looking forward to your return”

he smiles warmly at the mutual feeling of you missing him too. “my beloved, i will be back tomorrow before you know it. the first thing i’ll do is catch up on our missed cuddles. i will be looking forward to it. you better prepare yourself, my love.”
