Text
And just as soon it escaped my mind.
It escaped my empty mouth,
My warm pulsing lips,
Escaped anything cogent or coherent.
And you entered the room.
And thoughts turned to feelings.
Thoughts turned to a hot, red mush of raving emotions,
Turning into deep desires
And shallow crushes
And steady,
Tender longing.
Thoughts fled my brain,
My body.
My hands.
And you entered the room.
And you entered my mind.
And you took over everything I’d ever known,
And chewed it up,
And spit it back onto my neck.
And nothing I could think could matter.
In a moment such as this,
There are no words,
And nothing to think.
