The major difference of the love of Christ to any other form of "love" is that, the love of Christ redeems, saves and transforms. It's maybe a very vague concept but this is true.

A water can quench our thirst, we know this for sure, but our thirst won't be satisfied unless we drink the water! Same with God's love. We will surely experience God's love if we'll just open our hearts and accept this love. The great news is, this love doesn't need something in return and it's for free.

So, I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons. And maybe we'll never know most of them. But even if we don't have the power to choose where come from, we can still choose where we go from there. We can still do things. And we can try to feel okay about them.

I am so happy... before. And when I say "so happy", the kind of feeling where you somehow don't need something to satisfy your cravings. It's just that, for years, I've been so focused on the things that would "probably" make me happy, and forgot that I need Him in everything. Then I realized, at the end of the day, He is the one who really satisfies and overwhelms me.

I just thank God that He used other people, unexpected people, and Saddleback Church as instrument to slap me and wake me up in this sleepwalking that unconsciously leads me to other roads, darker roads even.

I am always be under construction, and I thank Him for gradually helping me to get back on track, and continuously waking me up whenever I feel like I am going to be in a deep sleep and sleepwalk again.
