I have fallen completely, totally head-over-heels with hand lettering. There are amazing designers all over the world creating some of the most beautiful, detailed and elaborate hand-lettered works of art. One of these said designers is Martin Schmetzer. Go check out his work on Behance and Dribbble!

A great blog that one of my designer friends showed me has become my new favorite. Windowsofnewyork.com is run and illustrated by graphic designer Jose Guizar. The beautifully simplistic web design and illustrations leave me green with envy and full of inspiration. Check it out!

I love how the characters are manipulated in the layout spread. Brad Pitt's initials create a dynamic image and a clever play with shapes.

I thought this layout did a great job of reinventing what a body of text can do in editorial design.

Another great layout, with a strong connection between the image and the type!

I really love Lauren Hom's work. Like A LOT. She uses fun colors and never fails to be funny or clever. Her hand lettering is simple and beautiful, and is busting at the seams with original personality. She runs two websites; homsweethom.com and dailydishonesty.com. Her long list of awards is almost as impressive as her work. Go check her out!

Hello!
Hey everyone!
My name is Sabia and I'm a design student and I live in the awesome, cold state of Montana. I love design and spend hours on the interweb drooling over beautiful design, illustration, and artsy-fartsy stuff of all kinds. This is my first blog, but I'm excited to start! On this blog I plan on posting designers I think are awesome, a little bit of my own work, try my hand at copying designers that I blog about, and a little bit of everything I love.
But besides design, I love

Every now and again you might see a photo of my massive pain-in-the-butt-mutt, who is adorable no matter how bad or big he gets. But you will see awesome designers from all over the world here, all in one spot, for us to drool over together.
Happy tumbling!
