Any idea what this kind of plant this is? I cleared some brush to make way from my garden and this just took off. It smells a bit herby with a hint of mint. Zone 10a

The Plantain has been doing really well since the rains started! This is a dwarf Puerto Rican plantain, I'm in zone 10a Central Florida, so I'm not sure how well it would do other places. Before, I was watering it every day, but now that it's raining daily, there's no need. And since the rains should last the most of summer, I think the root system should be big enough by then to where I will only have to water it weekly. Any plantain care advice? I fertilized it (before june) with a balanced fertilizer and compost. As you can see, I've also mulched it. Thanks for reading!

Hi, I'm in zone 10a central Florida and looking to grow edible mushrooms. I was wondering if anyone else around here or in a similar climate grows mushrooms outside, and if so what varieties should I look into. I'm rather new to mushrooms in general, but I am making a garden and would like to include them. Thanks in advance!
