yes, this should be fine! you do have to give us some information so we can contact you but please let us know in your claims form or when we email you that you'd like to remain anon when posting comes. that said, we encourage everyone to post under a username and you can also remain anon by making a separate ao3 and one of us can send you an invite code if needed! just keep us updated on what will be most comfy for you :)

ok this might be an. extremely dumb question but when you say it has to be top!lestat bottom!louis are you using top and bottom as like dom and sub or could you hypothetically have like, sub top lestat or something... sorry 😭

it's not dumb at all and it's a good chance to clarify! strictly top bottom in the literal sense, sub dom or vanilla are entirely up to prompt... I think if the prompt doesn't specify and you can't deduce from the tags or wording, you can always play safe and default to vanilla? or then it's creator's liberty. tldr yes you hypothetically could

i want to ask why the name is leslou and not loustat like it normally is, leslou is just not as easy on the fingers reflexivey after loustat has set in lol

strictly speaking for the fest name, the real answer is just because it makes it more distinct in a sea of loustat stuff! the joke answer is asian fandom yaoi naming convention of topbottom but we all still use and often default to loustat in casual conversation too :)

Some of the prompts are not specified if the OPs also want them to be fanart/Edit,but I'm really interested in exploring them in a drawing is it allowed to claim them? Or it will be complicated as someone would probably claim them as fics?

yes that's totally okay! the prompting form said they must specify if they only want one medium, so if they didn't then all options are possible!! all claims are treated equally, fic won't take precedence over art or videos

if we like a prompt but can't participate for whatever reason, can we write/make art on our own and just link back to the prompt?

we'd prefer that you don't until the fest has ended! especially since we're leaving claiming open until the first check in. you would have until late jan to create though and extensions will be available up until the end of posting, so we really encourage you to participate and we can help facilitate ease for you however we can :)

hi, when we respond to your form we will give you the go ahead on which you can claim on ao3 and at that point yes, you'll claim it on ao3 as well, but not until then. any claims made before we confirm will be deleted </3

Are we only allowed to post in February? What if we finish earlier

only in February, because claiming will be facilitated by mods and we want to make sure everyone has the same amount of time, that betas/sensitivity readers have ample time, and that posting is organized within the fest. for these reasons and just the general nature of tests in contrast to a kink meme, for example, we ask that you please not use any of the prompts to post independent fic :)
