This is what I’ve done for the rough colouring for scene 3 so far. The plan is to fill out each frame with a flat colour and then work on the backgrounds as I go along. Fortunatly, the background for this scene is mainly going to be underwater, which makes the coloring process for the backgroung a lot quicker.

I decided to start colouring each frame quickly and clean it up with line art as I go along. I’m also still trying to experiment with lighting so that the characters can catch the setting.

This is meant to be the scene before Pola throwing the worm into the ocean. There is still a few things I need to fix with this scene. The part when Pola gets insulted when Guine sticks his out his tongue out, this should of happened after Guine does it instead of Pola getting angry at the same, which makes Guines action hard to spot at first glance. Also when Guines running, I should of added more movement on his feet. Also maybe make the camera track along Guines movement a bit slower so there is more room for more running poses.

I added the music from the artist for the animatic to get an idea of what some of the images from the storyboards would look like. I done this quickly and very rough because I was told not to do too much just in case we don’t hear from the client.

For this I had to colour in two scenes. I think some of the the colouring went well, butit was a shame that I wasn’t able to finish it mainly beacuse it got deleted. The colour pallete guide like for the previous scene helped a lot and also looking back at the concept art.
