gotta love William Shatner, claiming to not understand spirk, and then first helping to write a series of Trek novels wherein Kirk is revived from his death in Generations and reunites with Spock (with Spock being one of the only ones who actually believes Kirk can be revived) then second directs and acts in a short film where Kirk reunites with Spock at Spock's death, and they hold hands and watch the sunrise. it's really so wild of him.

and this is ignoring all of his heart eyes and how handsy he was with Spock throughout tos and the movies, too. You really don't see how people would come to a gay conclusion? Truly??

I just can’t get over that Spock didn’t die alone

So many sad postings about how Spock had to spend his final years in a not-quite-right universe, watching younger versions of himself and his friends live on while he can’t be apart of it, can’t ever see his friends again. Kirk is alive and yet totally unreachable.

But against all odds! There’s Jim! His Jim!! Through time and space just to find him again. To be by eachother’s side again. His wayward sun finally dawned.

Since the holiday toy drive post is circulating again, I figured this would also be helpful! Food insecurity is such a massive problem in America, in general, and if you have the means to help feed others, I think you should take that opportunity. Here are some other tips:

1. If you’re planning on donating items from your own pantry, please check the expiration dates on the packaging. Think of your donations as gifts to bestow, not castoffs to be rid of. It’s awful to think of people feeling like they got scraps someone else just didn’t want. Everyone deserves dignity with their meals.

2. If you’d rather give money to a food bank, that’s also great since they buy food in bulk and know what items are most wanted/needed!

3. Not everyone has access to appliances like stoves or microwaves or hot plates so if you can donate items that don’t need to be heated up, that would also be greatly appreciated!

oh to be 93 and executive produce a short film where you get cgi'd to look like you did in your decades-old beloved scifi franchise role and then all that happens is you walk through a garden and meet your fictional lover on the astral plane on his death bed and you hold his hand one last time - which, as long established, is how people kiss in his culture - and the sun rises. and you call it "unification"
