Leos of Leo Club of Nawala Metro launched the "Arogya" project focusing on senior bhikkhu at the Sudharmaramaya Bhikku Center in Udahamulla. There, a medical camp was conducted on the advice of Ayurvedic doctors for the resident bhikkhu who were suffering from various ailments from various areas of the island. Also, the necessary medicines and treatments were prescribed and donated by our own leos. All the necessary instructions for a healthy life were given and bags of local food items, medicine items, sanitary items and dry rations were donated. වසර 34කට පසු මන්නාරම දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ සිලාවතුර ප්‍රදේශයේ තම්බපණ්ණි සිංහල මහා විද්‍යාලය නැවත විවෘත කිරීමට අත්වැල් සපයමින් ඔවුන්ගේ මූලික අධ්‍යාපනික අවශ්‍යතාවන් සපුර��ලීම උදෙසා නාවල මෙට්‍රෝ අපි, තම්බණ්ණියට අත්වැලක් ව්‍යාපෘතිය දියත් කරන ලදී.

Education does not change the world, it changes the people who are going to change the world. Today's children will be tomorrow's leaders, and it is our responsibility to support their education. Therefore, Metros implemented project Thambapanniyata Athwelak, to support the re-opening of the Thambapanni Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya after 34 years in the Silawathura area in the Mannar District to fulfill their basic educational needs.

තාක්ෂණය දියුණුවත්ම විවිධ මාදිලියේ භාණ්ඩ මිනිසා අතට පත්වනු දැකිය හැකිය. එහෙත් පරිසරයට එකතුවන අපද්‍රව්‍ය ප්‍රමාණයත් නිමක් නැත. එමෙන්ම පරිසරය තුළ එකතුවන අපද්‍රව්‍ය ද විවිධාකාරය. ඒ සඳහා විසඳුමක් ලෙස "Zero Sili Sili" ව්‍යාපෘතියේ දෙවන අදියරයෙහි පළමු දින දෙල්කඳ පොදු වෙළඳපොළදී ක්‍රියාත්කම විය. මෙහිදී පාරිභෝගිකයන් වෙත සාමාන්‍ය සිලිබෑග වෙනුවට නැවත පරිහරණය කළ හැකි පරිසර හිතකාමී බෑගයන් බෙදා දීම සිදු කළා.

With the advancement of technology, various types of goods can be seen falling into the hands of human beings. The amount of waste added to the environment is endless. As a solution to this, on the first day of the second phase of the project "Zero Sili Sili" was executed in Delkanda Public Market. Here we distributed reusable eco-friendly bags to the customers instead of the usual "sili" bags.
