languages that don't distinguish between formal and informal you are missing out on so much petty drama. my grandparents have two neighbours who once got into a huge fight over something honestly pretty trivial, so neighbour A said he was going to revoke neighbour B's du (informal you) privileges. neighbour B was like "okay but can i use du one last time?" and neighbour A was like "yeah go ahead", and neighbour B said "du arschloch" (you asshole). incredible.

i did talk with a very kind dark wizard howl smovingcastle afterwards who could relate bc he had girls approaching him all weekend asking for his number and he had to break it to them that he was gay. and then he found a cute guy to dance with only to forget to ask his number and lose him in the crowd 💔

i tried making new friends when i went to the fair and at one point i was like "ah sorry guys i have to leave bc i want to catch this performance at the other side of the grounds." so this guy asked me if he could come with bc he didnt have anything better to do so i said sure! fine!
and we chatted and it was not unfun but then i started to realize that he would just. not leave. like i was dancing and he was just standing there. i said i had to take a bathroom break and he said he'd follow even though he didnt need to go to the bathroom. and then he didnt leave until the last performance of the day and then asked me if i was free next sunday bc he wanted to go to the movies with me
i felt bad for rejecting him bc he wasnt unkind but he was just very much not my type. and also he talked about his car way too much
#it kind of put a damper on my last festival day#im always trying just to be friendly but somehow that sometimes gives the wrong message i guess#not the first time a guy asked me on a date within hours of meeting

what you need to understand about recommending a show to me is that no matter how much we both know I'll like it, I can't watch it until the Neurodivergence Department in my brain approves it. I don't know when that will be, and I don't have any more control over it than you do.

More 'please draw my bike as a horse' commissions from yesterday! Although a lot of bikes look similar in colours, it's always nice when people tell me about how they see their bike so I can pick out a breed and personality.
Horse breeds & backstories for these under the cut:
The first commissioner said they imagined their bike as stocky draft horse because the bike is built solid and super heavy and durable. I picked a Clydesdale:
Here's a Clydesdale draft horse! I went with a brown horse and brown bags with black tack, to match the style of the really strong and durable horses that pull carts. This one's in a more ceremonial get-up, similar to the drafts that pull parade floats and such. I hope you like him!
The second bike's owner said that the brake cables had been modified: "the bike brakes like sh*t and I always crash into others when they brake in front of me. It's a bit dangerous bike, but still love it". I went with a Thoroughbred.
Racehorse!! I think a bike with brake issues is very Thoroughbred coded. I gave them a bit of a mischievous expression and the hot pink accents on the bike for the saddle and leg wraps. I hope you enjoy!
They even drew my design afterward, which I think is so cute...

The last one is a tribute to a bike that the owner no longer owns since they got a car. I wanted something springy and elegant:
The Kent Northwoods Springdale feels like a very classic, elegant sort of bike, so I went with an American Saddlebred. These horses have a really distinct, really high head + neck carriage. They've got five different paces, including a special type of pace called the 'rack', and they're shown both saddle-seat and in halters around the ring! It felt like the right vibe. This one has a simple halter and a show cinch on. I hope you're happy with it!
#omg... bicycle horses...#i love all the interpretations here#i guess my bike would be more like a my little pony bc its a lavender color
