9 mixed colours include: black with fiery red, lime, dark green, blue, purple, pink and grey ombrés, brown with blonde ombré and dark brown with bright blonde ombré.

Hi, Ashe! Since you're into Elder Scrolls and building a medival neighborhood in TS2, I was wondering if you knew if there was any CC/how to go about making an Argonian Sim? Google isn't giving me much luck lol. Also can I WCIF the orc tusks you use on your Sims? Thanks!

However, I recoloured it to be less yellowy. Can't have both since this is just a recolour of the same package by celestialspider. All ages and genders :]

These skins exist but they're very vibrant. There were plans to make them more realistic in texture and colour, but it's been 4 years (Skyrim Argonian Skin in Pooklet Unnaturals at PBK) I know that @niamh-sims was making a set of muted colours, but I'm not sure if it was ever released !

As for faces? I've seen some good lizard-like heads, but none that were put up to download, nor a sim to copy from.

I would LOVE for this and this to be converted and animated for TS2, but it is so niche 😭

The initial intention was simply to recolour Novrabbit's big Yokousou, but much like a lot of older CC, the mapping wasn't brilliant. So I bring you recolours and an edit!

the recolours- I used @littlelittlesimmies 4t2 conversion of the snowy escape mountain + cat wall tiles as well as @simsinlowspace 's addons with bamboo and sakura to recolour Novrabbit's big Yokusou bath!

The only caveat to that, is that the mapping is off. It doesn't look awful, but what I've done is I've made an edited version to fit in with modern games a little easier. I adjusted the mapping and replaced the original texture with the 'mountain grey' snowy escape version (as it's closest to the original imo), as well as updated the catalogue description.

issues- as stated in Novrabbit's original post, there's some clipping getting into and out of the bath.

I'm not that experienced of an object maker to fix this and if I were I might've scaled the thing down a bit also, as it's huge and the placement can be somewhat awkward for this. My fix is to use it alongside the BB niche recolours I made with the matching addon tiles, to better fit it into the environment. of course it can be placed without them, but it's certainly an option if you feel it doesn't fit well!

Sims 2 Mod: Functional Umbrella for “Immersive Rain”

I combined the “Immersive Rain mod” by @bstu​ with the Umbrella prop by Adele and Decorgal and added some things to it. I did this for my game because I wanted to have functional umbrellas, like what Sims 3 and 4 have. It’s not a perfect mod, but I’m happy with it, if you have suggestions or want to make your own version please do it.

HOW TO USE IT

The Umbrella object is in the Decorative/Miscellaneous category. Put it in the inventory of your sim, you can give it away to non-playable sims too and they will use the umbrella when it rains. It works with any sim from child to elder. I made 4 versions to add Color Traits compatibility and Mermaid Trait compatibility (which the original Immersive Rain doesn’t include)

REQUIREMENT for the Color version: Easy Inventory Check and the color traits of course.

If you already have the “Immersive Rain mod” or the Umbrella objects from Adele/Decorgal you have to REPLACE them with this.

Note: The default color of the Regular version is Red, the default color of the Color version is Gray (if your sim doesn’t have a favorite). I couldn’t link the original recolors of Adele’s umbrella with the mod, so it can’t pick that up. EXTRA DOWNLOAD, a manual interaction to use or close the umbrella, only appears when the sim have the umbrella in their inventory. Pick one:

High time I posted some new hair retextures, eh? I’ve got a folderful of pending projects that I’ve been sitting on since… November (I think?), and today I’m posting the ones that are finished. Per my request, @rented-space did a mesh edit of this hair that was originally converted by VonVerdelli, and also added a lovely Volatile base in the process. I just slapped the colors I normally use on Mel’s base for my own use, but figured that I could share what I have, because why not? This hair’s been retextured before (I think Charlotka used the same base texture in her retextures from this post), but eh, what the hell. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Eir Stealthic Paradox Dreadlocks

I wanted a simple ponytail style with ‘locs, and Eir’s conversion of Stealthic Paradox looked like it had the right shape for what I had in mind. This one’s actually inspired by a real-life photo that I happened upon on Pinterest (see here), though I’m not sure if I was able to recreate the original with 100% accuracy. Either way, I think it’s still a cute little hairdo.

Delcowebneytwo 4t2 Chrome hair pookleted

Man, pookleting clay hairs is HARD. I fought with this hair for days (not even exaggerating) and almost gave up twice, but in the end, I think I was able to give it an at least somewhat pook’d look. It’s not perfect, but it’s as good as it gets.

Binned, tooltipped, familied, but NOT compressed (honestly, the texture quality was already so sketchy that I was afraid to lower it even further). A final note: I rename all files I add to my game to fit my own organization scheme. This means that some of the meshes I included have different names than the original files, so be careful to not add any duplicates into your Downloads folder.

Hello! My name is Brooke Higginbottom; I’m Sociology Master’s student at the University of Victoria (UVic), in British Columbia, Canada. Currently, I am working on my Master’s thesis and am looking for participants for my research study.

I am looking for anyone who identifies as asexual or within the asexual spectrum to take a 10–15-minute survey focusing on their experiences and perspectives towards asexuality and healthcare. Survey responses are anonymous and will not be public. Only I and my supervisors will be able to see any responses. This project focuses on the experiences of asexuals in healthcare systems and their experiences within the healthcare systems. Additionally, I will be looking into the ways those with sexual difficulties experience healthcare systems. As someone who identifies as asexual, I have struggled with accepting and embracing my lack of sexual desire. Before learning about asexuality, I spoke to a doctor about my situation, but the experience wasn’t fulfilling. Now, I am curious as to the experiences of others in similar situations.

This research will further improve understandings of asexuality, combat bigoted assumptions, promote healthier viewpoints of sexual arousal, and address potential stigma within the healthcare system and society. It is my hope that my research will add further depth and legitimacy to both the experiences of asexuals and those with sexual difficulties. I hope that from this project, a healthier distinction between these two identities will be drawn and that we will move towards normalizing lower sexual desire/attraction.
