Gun mages were always tricky, they could switch what they used at a moments notice going from a fire blast to a hose down. Hard to figure out what to expect next unless you could disarm them.
These were things Gajeel knew as he stepped up to the guild door, a guild specializing in rifle magic. But Gajeel also knew that gun magic was costly to do. Big move meant big costs.
So when he pushed the hostil guilds door open, he knew odds were in his favour for just an actual bullet to be shot at him when no one recognized him.
He grinned as the day light leaked into the old building. A bullet he could handle no problem, giving him enough time to make sense of what he was up against and-
A gunshot shattered the air and Gajeel’s head snapped back. There was twelve people in the guild hall that had all eyes on Gajeel. The bartender had a gun out, the end smoking lightly, aimed at Gajeel.
They waited for him to drop, they expected him to drop, but he didnt. Instead his head leaned forward again slowly. His expression a wide, devilish grin. The bullet from the gun clenched between his front teeth and framed by sharp canines.
"Gihi" he laughed through his open mouth and clamped down, shattering the bullet entirely. He only opened his teeth again to lick them, dragging his tongue over theyre edges and lingering on the sharp points of the canines.
With each passing second he saw the bartenders hand start shaking more, in fear of him.
This would be fun.

E.N.D.  AU
Fandom: Fairytail
Ship Title: Gajevy/Gale
A.N.: Hello Everyone! So I wanted to make good on a promise I made a long time ago to an anon that recently came up again. It’s a AU where Gajeel is E.N.D. instead of Natsu. I didn’t want to start another series as I already have at least two of them on the go so here’s a oneshot. @bearandbirdfan I hope you enjoy this as you re-requested it. ^_^ @starscreamjosh because you liked the re-request.
Disclaimer: I do not own Fairytail or it’s characters.
_______________________________________
I held the book in my hands, trembling, looking down at it.
A big heavy leather bound book, similar to hundreds in my collections. It smelt old and dusty like it hadn’t been taken off a bookshelf in years.
“Gajeel is END” Mavis had said when she handed the book to us. She hadn’t had time to explain much but we knew enough for this to be a shock.
Gajeel was the final demon of Zeref, the one meant to destroy him, and if he succeeded he would die too.
It was a sick fitting name for such a demon to be called END. It would be the end of Zeref and the end of END.
A paw landed on my shoulder bringing me back to the moment. Lily stood beside me on the park bench, looking just as somber. We both knew Gajeel was on his way to fight with Zeref and our job was to simply protect the book.
There was nothing we could do. We had to make sure the book was kept safe, until Zeref was defeated and then the book would disappear and with it Gajeel.
I hadn’t even realized I was crying until I looked at Lily and he was blurry. I quickly wiped my eyes to clear them. My heart was breaking in my chest. We both had just started getting used to the idea of being a couple. We hadn’t even announced it to the guild yet and he was going to be gone. Months of pretending we weren’t falling for eachother and then that night when we were on the council…
We came back to the guild together but it was a secret from everyone but Lily, we weren’t ready to announce it yet and everyone was so focused on the rebuild and then finding the master and then the war with Alvrez.
We wanted to wait till we could celebrate properly with everyone. Well, I did, Gajeel didn’t want to deal with the headache of it all but at my insistence he agreed to tell them after the war.
But now there would be nothing to tell. He was going to disappear.
Gone.
He would disappear with the rest of the demons which was an insult to injury. As if he was a monster to be erased from the world and forgot along with the dark mage Zeref.
My tears fell more steadily, the drops rolling down my cheeks and falling from my chin to land on the book in my hand. The book that was Gajeel.
Could he feel my pain? Could he tell how much my heart was breaking? Could he feel my tears for him?
I lifted the book off my lap to look at the cover closer as if I may see him in it somehow. But it was not him in almost every way. The leather was rough and smelled dead and dusty. It wasn’t alive or smelt of iron and earth. The font on the front was jagged and sharp which was at odds with his handwriting which was smooth and clear.
That originally had been a surprise to find out that he had very neat handwriting. I had been helping him with paper work and thought he had been making Lily do all of his work. He had almost been embarrassed to admit that it was his writing and he had even blushed slightly.
I smile at the memory but even as I do the pain in my chest squeezes harder knowing he’ll be gone soon and I won’t even get to say goodbye. All I’ll have is this stupid book to hold that was Gajeel and yet wasn’t him at all. I want to slam the book down on my lap but I don’t, instead I hug it, holding it close.
Did he even know? Did he know if he defeats Zeref he dies too? Would it even matter?
Of course it would matter. Gajeel had admitted to me in the past he didn’t always see the point to living but that his mindset on that, had changed in recent time. A sentiment that had taken my breath away at the time but now just made me feel all the more worse.
He wouldn’t give up thought. He would fight till he couldn’t anymore which would happen this time even if he won or lost.
The result was the same, victory or defeat he would be gone forever.
So did it really matter if we opened the book or not?
I slowly lower the book from my chest and look at the cover that I’ve memorized over the last hour.
What would happen if I opened it?
“Lily…” I said and looked at him and in his eyes, through their own watering, I could see he was working to the same conclusion and after a moment he nodded. I don’t know if I was looking for his consent but regardless I had it.
Armed with Lily’s approval and my own resolve I took hold of the front cover and gently lifted it open.
A wave of light shot from the pages and the book lept from my lap to the ground, the pages flipping rapidly, hundreds of pages went by but the book looked no closer to the end, the book seeming to hold thousands more pages then it’s weight had suggested. Lines of red ruins flew out from the pages, extending outwards and around then back into the book, scrolling text continuously, almost too fast for me to read but I managed and the words made my eyes widen.
It was Gajeel’s life. It was everything, even things that the book had no business of knowing when it was written. It was undeniable now that this book and Gajeel were linked, one and the same. I watched the words go by with my mouth open and then I noticed it. Was I imagining it?
Quickly I reached into my bag and pulled out my reading glasses so I could catch every word and there was no mistaking it. The words, the sentences, the chapters, They were all linked to Zeref, but more importantly, I knew how.
It was advanced script magic but one I had seen before when I had stumbled upon an actual library in Tartors. I found books, discarded by Zeref there. Pages devoid of magic that had once been there. As if he had started the project but got frustrated and removed the life from them but still the physical pages remained. The ruins had been dead but I felt that connection and had stolen one to study while on the council.
I hadn’t told anyone about it. I knew it was dangerous to mess with a demon book but if there was no magic in it, I didn’t think it could hurt anyone. I studied the words and the characters one at a time but it always felt like there was more that I wasn’t quite seeing in each bit of text.
Then I discovered it. The pages suddenly stopped having new text and all that was written was the character for the dark mage himself, over and over and over again. And it gave me the piece of the puzzle I was missing. Every ruin that was played out was written with bits of ruins that Zeref had infused with his life force. He wasn’t simply writing a book like I would scrawl a note on paper.
He filled pages with his magic and his life force in the form of his name in ruins and when he was finished he would deconstruct those ruins and reform them into new ones that still held his name. They could say anything but would always be tied back to him. Tied to his life.
I had been fascinated at the time, It was a major discovery, but now it just made me feel like I wanted to vomit.
Gajeel was one and the same with the book which was given life by Zeref. In a way it was almost as if Zeref was his father.
I reached my hand out to one of the closest ruin circles spinning around us and it paused at my touch and I felt it. I felt him. I could feel Gajeel within the text as much as I could feel Zeref. I could feel his magic as if it was him I was touching. He was there within the text and bound to a life force that wasn’t his.
Wait…
No, there was a second life force there! It just wasn’t embedded in the text, it was the text! Zeref in making Gajeel had written everything there was to be Gajeel without needing Zeref, why would he bother adding any unnecessary words when every word was a bond?!
“What is it?” Lily asked me as he could see my expression changed, I looked at him, my tears changing to be lighter.
“I think I can save him.” I said quietly, almost afraid to hope.
I took a shaky breath and reached into my bag for my ruin pen, all I needed to do was separate Zeref from Gajeel. That was all I needed to do. Rewrite it word for word if I had to with new ruins, ones that did not start in Zeref’s name. I pulled out my pen and reached out to the closest ruin circle again to stop it.
Just rewrite it. That’s all I had to do to save him.
I pressed the pen to the line and felt immediate resistance but I forced through and almost cried out as I broke the first ruin barrier and started writing. It hurt. It hurt badly but I could bare it. I had too.
Gritting my teeth I started rewriting, erasing the pieces that were tied to Zeref only after I had made a replacing character. The pain was awful, but it was nothing compared to the idea of losing him. I had to do it, he had to live.
I knew I wouldn’t be free of consequences when I started my plan but when the skin of my hand started to turn silver it was a shock. The pain seemed to focus as a wave of it moved up my hand and up my arm, the faster I rewrote the faster it moved up my arm.
“Levy your hand!” Lily said grabbing my shoulder and pulling my back from the writing and I shook him off.
“I’m fine! I need to keep going! We don’t know how much time we have!” I shouted feeling my cheeks wet again but this time the tears were from pain, raw hot pain as I continued writing and the silver continued growing.
I don’t know how much time passed but writing became more difficult and my hand began moving slower. The silver had completely coated my arm and disappeared beneath the sleeve of my shirt.
My fingers started getting clumsy and I dropped the pen.
“Damn it.” I said and reached to pick it up with the same hand but it wouldn’t move properly anymore, it felt frozen and I could no longer feel my fingers.
“Levy! You need to stop!” Lily said again, reaching to take the pen and I swatted him away sobbing.
“I can’t stop and you know that!” I screamed. One of my eyes wasn’t working properly and seemed fuzzy.
I picked the pen up with my other hand and pressed it aggressively into the ruin barrier and kept going. It wasn’t my first time writing with my non-dominant hand and it wasn’t as fast but it worked and was clear. Like my first hand the pain was scorching and started to bleed silver into my skin.
I couldn’t stop. I wouldn’t stop. Not until Gajeel was free of Zeref. Not until he was free and safe.
“I will save you this time!” I sobbed to myself as one of my eyes went dark.
_____________________________________________
The pen dropped from her hand.
The text was blue now, the script so clearly Levy’s hand-writing. The ground beneath the ruins was littered with soot piles as the old red ruins had been erased. The book seemed to slowly be taking the writing in, almost uncertain at first but then faster till it all had receded into the book, the pages flipping in the opposite direction as they had when they had opened the book but now it was closing on itself.
With a solid clap the cover closes and the title now reads Gajeel’s name with a heart in the ‘A’.
I stepped forward slowly and picked up the book that had been completely transformed by her hand. It felt lighter to my paws, not weighted by black magic anymore. All that was in it was Gajeel now.
My eyes water as I look at the book and then up at Levy.
“You did it Levy.” My voice isn’t strong like it should be, she saved him like she so wanted to, but the cost…
The cost was too much.
____________________________________
“Lily!” I’m waving at him as I limp around the corner, He’s sitting at the end of the path with a book in his lap that makes him look tiny.
What the fuck is he doing with a book? We just fought a war and he took a break to go to the library? He’s been hanging around with Levy too much.
I grin at him down the path getting closer.
“Lily we did it! We fucking won!” I say excitedly but he isn't even looking at me. What’s wrong with him?
“Oie! Lil’! Where’s Levy?” I yelled at him as I got closer and I can finally make out his face, he’s crying. My grin falls away making way for concern and I hobble over to him faster.
Why would he be crying, did something happen? Can’t be a fight, Lil’ don’t cry over a fight.
Confused, I make my way closer. What book is he holding? Is that my name?
“Lily what’s going-...” The words die in my mouth as I get up beside him. Lily and the book are forgotten because I see Levy now. She had been blocked by one of the trees at the end of the path but now she’s in front of me and I don’t know what I’m seeing.
It’s her, no doubt, I can still smell her scent but she’s...
Her skin in silver, dull and buffed like iron and her eyes... Her beautiful, amazing, deep, brown eyes are coated over and empty. Metal.
Her clothes hang off the statue, moving lightly in the breeze and it’s silent. She’s reaching out and her expression is pained but determined, tears are molded into the metal on her cheeks. A ruin pen sits on the ground, chipped from where it hit the cobblestone when she dropped it.
My mouth is open and my brain isn’t processing, too many questions crowd my mind. It can’t be her…
It can’t! None of the twelve wielded iron based magic!
I don’t even notice my feet hitting the ground as I step up to the statue that only reaches my chest in height.
“Sh-shorty?” My voice breaks in disbelief. “How….?”
“She saved you Gajeel.” Lily’s voice sounds behind me but I don’t remove my wide eyes from her steeled over ones. I reach a hand to touch her cheek and my chest feels hollow through and I taste the acid of vomit in the back of my throat as I realize it.
“She wouldn’t stop. I begged her but she wouldn’t listen. She saved you.” He says again but I’m not listening.
The woman that stole my heart, is a solid iron statue.

Chapter 8
The snow was deafening and getting louder as they raced down the mountainside away from it. Gajeel desperately spurred the horse onward, but outpacing an avalanche was nearly impossible.
He could feel Levy’s arms around his middle and he spurred the horse again. He had to make it to the rock covering. He couldn’t let her die.
Their group of soldiers was already sheltering behind the rocks, hoping they would be enough to stop the snow from pushing them off the cliff’s edge that was dangerously close behind them.
When the snow hit the horse, Levy’s hands were ripped from his waist and when he turned to look he was met with a face full of snow, that covered him and the horse. He spurred the horse again, trying to keep it moving before they were packed beneath the icy covering.
They burst through the top of the snow that was still rushing around them, dangerously close to getting pulled under again. He didn’t have to spur the horse to keep it moving as it, too, was in a panic to stay above the onslaught of snow. His head whipped around as he searched for the flash of blue hair.
“Gajeel!” Her voice drew his attention and there she was clinging to a rock that did nothing to block the snow but instead stood straight up out of it, unmoving by the currents of snow around it. Gajeel pulled the reins on the struggling horse in an attempt to aim it towards the rock she was on. It didn’t listen to his command but followed the tug anyways as it didn’t care which way it got out of the snow as long as it was up.
With flailing hooves he made it to Levy, she clung to the rock with white knuckled fingers trying desperately to hold on. He reached out to her and she let go with one hand to reach for him. Their fingers brushed clumsily but he couldn’t get hold of her.
Suddenly there was no longer a horse beneath him as it bucked and the snow rushed the off balance creature and knocked it down, burying it quickly beneath the snow.
Time seemed to slow for Gajeel as his eyes widened feeling himself falling towards the snow and knowing that that was it. He would be buried beneath the snow and suffocate on it. He’d be buried alive and die gasping for air. He would-
A hand clasped his arm and yanked him from the air before his back touched the snow. His feet caught in the current of the ice crystals and he was pulled downward but his hand grabbed tightly to whatever was holding him. He fought the current and looked up to see Levy straining with one arm around the rock and one arm reaching out to him, holding him. Her face proved this to not be an easy task as her teeth were clenched and her neck muscles straining.
He almost laughed in the moment, his weakest ‘man’ was now the one keeping them both alive by a feat of strength. Instead he reached up with his other arm and grabbed hold of her, pulling as hard as he could to get closer. The snow was slowing but it was still very lethal in its ability. He needed to get a hold of the rock or they both may die if her strength failed her.
With a great deal of effort he pulled himself up her arm and clambered a hold of the rock she clung to, hugging it quickly to take his weight off of Levy who also quickly hugged the rock. The snow was deafening even as it slowed and in the back of Gajeel’s mind he wondered at how something that seemed so soft could be so deadly.
He kept his eyes on Levy who had her own eyes firmly held shut until the snow stopped rushing by and the small windstorm it kicked up settled.
It almost seemed too abrupt how quickly it was over and when Levy opened her eyes she saw very few remnants of the army that had been racing down toward them. She scanned the mountain side until she landed her eyes on Gajeel who was in front of her, finally letting go of the rock.
“You done being a hero now shorty?” He asked, with half a laugh as the tension gave way into giddy nerves.
She started to laugh herself as she let go of the rock and tried to move only to find she was stuck, packed tight in the snow.
“I can’t get out.” She giggled looking at him and Gajeel squirmed too, only to realize he couldn’t get out either. They were both stuck up to the waist in packed snow and, to Levy’s embarrassment, quite close together.
“Hang on, maybe I can…” He put his hands under Levy’s arms and pulled upwards as hard as he could but she didn’t even budge. He stopped after a moment to catch his breath, his hands still on Levy’s side. His eyes met hers and only now did he realize like she had how close they were.
“Levy… I…” He was at a loss for words as he looked at her, because on her face was such an array of emotion, tears streaked her cheeks but she was smiling wide and bright, she was almost laughing.
“We did it.” She said her voice alight with laughter. Gajeel looked at her and his heart fluttered. He shook his head at her and put a cold hand on her cheek, keeping the other resting on her middle section above the snow.
“You did it Levy.” He said softly and she looked at him with surprise. Gajeel couldn’t stop himself and he had no alcohol in his system to blame it on this time. He kissed her gently, his lips lingering on the taste of her.
He was falling for this woman. This incredible, tiny, smart, pain in the neck woman that had just saved his life. His heart flooded with warmth despite the bitter cold that wrapped most of his body.
When he broke away he was breathing softly as he looked at her. Her face was flushed of colour and she seemed to look back at him with a mixture of wonder and longing but also sadness. She lifted to hold his hand that was on her cheek and he felt just how cold they were.
“We need to get out of this snow before we freeze to death.” He said coming back to reality, he pulled his hand away from her, planting them in the snow, planning to brace them there and pull his body upwards but when he touched the snow he felt a startling difference in his hands. The one that was on her cheek barley felt the sharp bite of the cold having already been chilled but his other hand.... His other hand felt warm and the cold bit into his skin with haste. Confused by such a drastic difference he looked down at his hands.
The one that had been on her cheek was red with frostbite but the one that had been on her middle was staining the snow around it the rich crimson red of blood. He gaped at it, confused, lifting it from the snow and seeing the pink handprint it had left behind. He felt no pain from it, he saw no wound on it. When had he injured it? When…
Beneath his hand where his gaze rested he saw the snow turning red, it seemed to be growing outward from… His eyes snapped up and saw where the blood was coming from.
It was seeping from a wound in Levy’s side.

A.N: Hello everyone! Obligatory apology for the wait. I know it’s been quite a while but here it is for those of you that hung on. I’m really hoping to finish this one in maybe one or two more chapters but honesty who knows ^ ^’ I don’t know if it lives up to the “Quality” of the rest of the chapters as you know its been a while for me but I tried my hardest. I hope you enjoy it anyways!

Chapter 7
Gajeel bent down slowly with an unusually shaky hand and picked up the helmet. It was cold to touch and condensation quickly fogged the metal around his hand.
The group of sixty plus soldiers stood silently staring at the war torn ground below them that had once been a town. Lily stepped forward and put a hand on his friend’s shoulder. Despite how angry he was with him the night before, Lily could empathize with the grief that he was feeling and knew Gajeel needed support even if he would never admit it.
The group didn’t move. No one was certain of what to do next. Gajeel looked at the helmet, his mind blank. Time went by slowly only punctuated by the crackling of the dying fires below.
“Search for survivors.” Lily said, suddenly making everyone but Gajeel jump from the unexpectedly loud sound. Quickly but carefully the group dispersed into the surrounding area leaving Gajeel and Lily alone.
He looked back at his friend still kneeling in the snow and replaced his hand on his shoulder.
“He may still be alive if-”
“The huns don’t leave anyone alive.” Gajeel cut him off not looking at him. His voice was low and unreadable. Lily stayed silent. He was right. With this much devastation to the army there was no chance his father was still alive.
____________________
They marched silently after the discovery of the decimation. Levy looked ahead watching the back of her captain astride his horse. Her chest tightened thinking about that loss. She knew the pain all too well, having lost her own parents. She wanted to comfort him and try to take the pain away but the heavy binding of armour on her chest reminded her of where she was.
Whether he knew she was a girl or not was irrelevant. The situation remained. She was a soldier and he was her captain. The relationship could never happen even after the war lest her deception come to light. If she were found out, even retroactively, she would be executed for high treason based solely on her gender.
She lowered her gaze. She needed to stop thinking of him. Whatever thoughts or fantasies she had wouldn’t happen and torturing herself with them not only made her sad, it also dangerously distracted her from the fact that they were walking through the narrow passage between mountains:
The most vulnerable spot for an attack.
-----------------
“Morale is low.” Lily commented quietly to Gajeel beside him. Gajeel merely grunted in response. Lily watched him with concern. Learning of his father's likely death had left him distracted, which was bad given their position. He needed to refocus him for the moment.
An idea crossed his mind and he grimaced internally at it. It felt manipulative, and maybe it was, but it would bring his attention back.
“You know we’re in the mountain pass now… Maybe you should fall to the back of the group and bring up the rear.” He said and for the first time Gajeel seemed to notice where they were. He looked around and it seemed as though he was taking it in for the first time and his scowl deepened. His mind was working through it slow and Lily could practically see the wheels in his head turning. He looked back at the group they were leading and noticed that it was Levy at the very back. He looked at Lily and raised an eyebrow.
Till that moment Lily had discouraged any kind of relationship between the two but for now Gajeel needed something tangible to do to bring him back to the present and keep him focused in a fight if there was one to happen.
Lily smiled slightly and fleetingly only for Gajeel before he spurred his own horse ahead of him.
He would deal with their relationship at a later date. For now they needed to survive.
----------------
Gajeel stopped his horse letting their small group of soldiers pass him.
How had he let his head get so far out of touch. This was the most risky part of the journey and he was playing the pity party. He scoffed quietly in disapproval of himself.
His father was a General, prepared to die on the battlefield protecting his men and his country, and Gajeel needed to focus and do the same. Starting with the small blue haired girl at the end of his battalion.
He looked at her as she approached him. Her eyes were downcast at her boots, her expression bleak. She had yet to notice that he had stopped.
He needed to protect her. He needed to keep her safe. He needed-
Levy jolted forward with a yelp and the group halted to look back. Levy reached for her left shoulder with her opposite arm and snapped arrow that had struck her armour.
Gajeel’s eyes widened and he quickly looked up to the cliffs above them seeing arrows being launched into the sky soon to rain down on them.
“Move! Get out of range!” He yelled, spurring his horse to close the distance to Levy. Looks be damned, he wasn’t leaving her to be impaled.
She was slow to recover, looking at the missing arrow head on the shaft she had snapped off her armour. She barely had a moment to glance at Gajeel before he was grabbing her by the collar of her armour with one hand and throwing her on the back of his horse.
“Hold on!” He shouted as the arrows rained down around them, burying themselves half way deep into the snow from the force of their travel.
Levy wrapped her arms around his waist as they galloped through the snow, she could barely hang on with the sudden movements. Her brain finally caught up to what was happening and she blinked several times to clear her head. She looked ahead of them. The group was running aimlessly with no direction but away. She quickly assessed their surroundings.
“There!” She shouted. “Behind the rocks!” Gajeel spurred his horse again going directly towards them. The soldiers followed suit quickly and regrouped behind the rocks.
“Prepare the cannons!” Lily was already dismounted giving out orders which the group rushed to follow. They handed the cannons out and aimed them at the cliffs where the arrows had come from.
The assailants were showing themselves as their arrows could no longer reach their targets. They were charging down the mountainside at them. They fired multiple canons but the army was pouring out of caves and rock coverings. There were thousands of them.
Levy did her part, fired the cannons and took out pockets of the army but not enough. In her head she was running the numbers. They were quickly running out of canons and the sixty of them could not handle what was still far to many soldiers rushing them. She looked over the rock face at the stampeding army, looking around for anything that might provide some kind of strategic advantage when she noticed the snow cover mountain tip.
A plan formulated in her mind and she grabbed one of the cannons from the dwindling supply and sprinted out front of their rock covering before she could doubt herself.
"Levi!" Lily shouted, reaching for her but she was too far from him to grab. Gajeel’s attention sharply looked to Lily when he heard Levy’s alias. He saw his hand outstretched and the stupid girl running toward the army like she was going to take them on herself. He felt his veins turn cold.
“LEVI!” He shouted and sprinted out from behind the rock. What was she thinking!?
He ran full speed to retrieve her from the certain death that was approaching her much faster than he was. Panic welled in his chest as he watched her, then suddenly she dropped to her knees and shoved the cannon into the snow. She fumbled with her flint to light the cannon and a spark was produced just as the lead horse reached her.
It exploded and rocketed into the air, scaring the horse and confusing the rider who momentarily forgot Levy to see what she had aimed the cannon at.
The explosion was loud but the following rumble was louder as the snow covered mountain shook with the force of a cascading avalanche.
Gajeel hadn’t slowed his pace, even watching all this happen. He hadn’t thought through the whole implications of the avalanche, all he was thinking was 'get to Levy' .
The lead horseman scowled and turned his attention back to Levy, slashing at her stomach with his sword making her fall sideways from the force. The second attack was aimed for her neck and she watched the sword come down, then closing her eyes, she braced for the pain.
But it never landed.
There was a crash of metal upon metal and she opened her eyes to see the horseman on the ground and Gajeel pulling his sword out of him. He turned back to her without stopping his movements. He grabbed her and shoved her upwards onto the horse before mounting the horse himself and galloping towards their rock cover. They were racing the snow as it poured down the mountain side towards them, burying the army behind them.
“That was fucking stupid shorty” Gajeel growled in front of her but she didn’t hear disapproval as she so often did. If anything, it sounded almost proud.

☺😅ya... its not finished either. I'll reblog it for you to read
Omg I am in love with your fanfics!! I’ve just finished reading Birthday screams and iron tears and it was written so amazingly!! cx I’ve also finished Symbiote and Mulan AU and I’m so excited to see what happens next in those stories!! I love the stories so much that I just had to let you know!! Now I’m off to read some more of your work!!
😭😭😭😭im so glad there is still someone out there thats enjoying my work. I know fairytail (and by extension Gajevy) isn't the most popular anymore but if one person enjoys it its worth it. I went through a few years of rough mental health and it took a toll on my confidence in writting but I'm trying desperately to get back into it as I love it so much. Please keep an eye out tonight for the next chapter in the mulan AU. It has been written for you and for a handful of other amazing people that were kind enough to speak their kind words of support. I can't promise it'll be good (confidence still isn't great) but it will be posted.❤
