“Congratulation! Happy wedding to you, Joseph!” Emily said. Today is the best day for Joseph because he finally gets married with Sue he have chased for five years. Today, I was invited to his wedding as the best man. At this moment, my memories are hooked up and I still remember that in the UCI we were the best friend and roommate so that I made many great and useful ideas for helping Joseph to chase Sue like helping them reserve the study room before the final in the gateway or Ayala or which kinds of gifts was the best choice for girl. Sometimes, Joseph was always persistent and stubborn in one thing like chasing Sue for five years or even can spent 5 days to solve one advanced mathematics problem like Math 218C so that in this moment I feel very emotional. In this few moments, I still could not imagine what the big catastrophe will happen after one month to my fiend Joseph. After wedding, I back to my apartment and start my working for next presentation in the meeting and there are still many team projects I need to fix so that the time goes pretty fast. In July 15th after one month from wedding, there was an emergency call. When I arrived in Joseph home, I found the home was already surrounded by the Irvine Police Department and ambulance. I realized there must be some terrible things happen. When I found Joseph, his face was filled with despair and I found there are too much cigarette ends around the floor. I asked other friends, and they said Sue was disappeared. I was confused and then they said Sue was disappeared in the fitting room. “How ridiculous it is? It is impossible.” I said loudly. After a long silence time, Joseph picked another cigarette and said “We went to a small village near the orange county for take a short travelling the weather that day was rainy and there was a very small shopping mall. At that time, this mall gave me a bad feeling. It is not as big as South Coast Plaza and the sales there all smell strangely to customers like covering a mask but I did not care too much because Sue wanted to take a look so we enter the mall. Then, she found one beautiful piece with red points and white flowers then she took it in the fitting room so I waited in the outside. After 20 minutes, she still did not finish yet so I called her name but no responses and then I entered the fitting room and I found she was not there. Then I asked the sale and she said she did not know. Everything going strange because the one piece was taken from the sale and then the sale gave the clothes to Sue so there must have some problems of this mall.” He started angrily and sadly. Then he continued say, “I spent a whole day to find her. At first, I thought maybe she wanted show me a surprise and then she would appear again with a gift or others but I still did not find her. After one day, I decided to call the police but the police now told me this mall is legal there do not have any abnormal things…”. I can feel his shoulder was shaking. During the next several months, me and other friends decided to come to Joseph home which located in the for taking care of him in a fixed ratio time. We were still waiting for the result from police and all of us prayed for it every day. However, we were still not getting any information from the police. The officer said “You’d better have a preparation because the results were not good. Actually, in several months ago there were a similar crime happen in Paris so this case it not easy to solve and find.” Until one day, Joseph sent us a message that “Thanks for you guys for taking care me a long time…and I have left from home. I don’t know when I will be back so see you guys…”. When I receive this message, I was still doing my work. I did not know whether when we can meet next time.

Dear Joseph,

During this ten years, I got married with my wife Carina and I changed my job to be a vlog Youtuber with my wife. I have already been to some wonderful places like China, South East Asia, Australia and Japan. It is a great way to recording my life and also I wanted try to find Joseph and Sue. In this ten year, most of our friends around us have gradually forgot you and Mrs Joseph. However, I can feel that we can meet one day in the future. Now it is time to go to Paris for traveling again with Carina,

I always write down some letter to Joseph and I am always expecting his replies but he never reply me in this ten years. Furthermore, I just want to talk with him that I have found Sue in the Paris. Me and my wife Carina always like walking on the streets to enjoy the night views of Paris and the people in the Paris. In the last day, I just walk on the street as normally and I found a "freak show" which performed in the small street. Actually, at first I was not curiosity in the show but when I see a woman who wear a red point with white flowers one piece. I walked to the show closer and found the woman who wear the red points with white flowers was Sue. She performed in the “freak show” without legs and arms. I felt shocked and went to talk with the staff and he said he had to check for a few minutes and he brought me to a room in the back of stage. I found there were too many people who does not have arms and legs just like Sue. Then, after waiting 1 hour there still no one come to talk with me so I decided to find them. However, there was no one waiting for me in the outside and I found I was tricted by those people and I called for the police. There were nothing left in the floor when the police come. After few days investigation, the police found this room does not have any owners or renters and there were no evidences to show those people have come so I was still not find Sue…Until now, I do not have any messages of Sue and Joseph.
