Marriage material?
Just before his university graduation Allejandro reconnected with a highschool friend Moriah, the two hit it off. It was fairly clear that Moriah was rather more religious than the Sanz family but Allejandro did not mind waiting until after the wedding to live together, though he was impatient enough to move the wedding forward almost as soon as Moriah had accepted his proposal.

The family’s first scandal came while Allejandro was away at university. Margaret, who had barely passed her teen birthday, eloped with Daxton Lee, already a young adult on the verge of his next birthday. Becca was upset that this had happened under her nose, while Allejandro blamed himself that he had not been there to protect and guide his little sister. With the passage of time the family’s feelings have softened and Margaret and Daxton have beaten the odds building a strong relationship together. They have just moved into their own home (from the share house they started in) and their first baby is due any day now.

The founder of this dynasty Guillermo Sanz arrived in Brindleton Bay, he met and married Becca Clarke. They built this house and through careful investment in their garden they managed to build up a considerable fortune, which they have passed on to their 4 children. Allejandro is the eldest, with triplets Eleazar, Ingrid and Margaret just a little younger. They were a church going family but religion never seemed to loom large in their life, 6 days a week you’d hardly know they were different to anyone else.
While Allejandro was a teen and the triplets still children their father died, Becca was left to manage 4 children alone and began to rely on her eldest son to become man of the house, a protective role he still feels called to.

Welcome and an explanation
This Sims 4 save file started as a legacy challenge (based on the rules at https://simslegacychallenge.com/the-sims-4-legacy-challenge-rules/) but after the generation one rags to riches part legacies are hard to keep entertaining so enter a new storytelling challenge. The Duggar Challenge as inspired by @quiver-full-of-sims story and the rules at https://forums.thesims.com/en_us/discussion/949362/duggar-challenge-2-0
In general If the Duggar challenge rules conflict with the legacy challenge rules the legacy challenge wins (e.g. traits are randomised making it slightly harder to make sims do what you want) but I’m not keeping score, except to count the number of babies produced by the 10th generation. I’ve also modified the conception rules, as human beings aren’t fertile 365 days per year neither are my sims, 2 days per week they have a chance to conceive, and now I have the Wonderful Whims mod to help me manage that https://wonderfulwhims.com/ I’m hoping that this blog helps me to keep track of the story and keep it interesting.
