I understand not wanting read a sad scene lol, but personally I feel TBM expanded on Jasons character more than the multiple books he was alive in, or at least wrapped it up, (but that's just my opinion). Honestly other than Caleo the series is very good. It explores themes of redemption and the chain of abuse well without overly relying on romance to cheapen the plot. If you enjoy that and also profound character development, humor, and dampening the pages with tears, I would suggest to give it a try. The auidobooks are also VERY good. Maybe come up with your own opinion on the books if you do try to read them!! But I understand if not😄😄

Definitely the Older person is forced to take care of a child and ultimately results in the both of them developing a strong bond with each other and both going through incredible character growth

I think its very obvious why I like ToA sm hehe
