Khaleesi stirs in her sleep, soft knocking pecking at her ears. She groans—turning around towards the balcony, her sight already being blinded by sunlight before opening her eyes. She scrunches her eyebrows seeing Kamari on the other side of the window, Khaleesi hops out of bed and runs toward the doors. She couldn't lie, Leesi really didn't trust him after last night—it scared the living shit out of her.
Khaleesi believed that Kamari would deny what Ace had said about him but no, he did have a plan. That was crazy to her, her fingers holding onto the handle tightly—she hears his voice and looks toward her bed. "Who was that last night?"
"Leave me alone, Mari." Her groggily voice was low, she rubs the sleep out of her eyes and sighs out of frustration.
"Are you serious? Leesi, open this door." He bangs his hand against the window and she glances back at her door. "Fuck them! I wanna talk, right now." Khaleesi shuts her curtains and walks back over to her bed, flopping down on the comforter. Her body exhausted from the extra hours of sleep she got. "Leesi, I've been calling you all night."
Khaleesi had drifted off to sleep moments later, little snores slipping from her mouth as her mouth is parted slightly. She wakes up instantly when someone shakes her, Leesi shot up being faced with Kamari. A breeze flying past her, she looks at the balcony door seeing the hinges broken off. "Nigga-"
Kamari pulls her up and lifts Khaleesi over his shoulder, she gasps—punching her fists against his back. "Motherfucka, put me down!" She struggles to get out of his hold, she just wanted one peaceful day without niggas infiltrating her life. Especially ones that want to kill her. "Kali!" Her cry for help startles him as he puts her down quickly, his hand clasping over her mouth.
"What the hell are you doing?" His eyes dark brown, she looks away from him while tugging his hand off of her mouth. "Khaleesi."
"Get out." She hears her sisters voice then darts over to Kali, she grabs Khaleesi's arm moving her away from him. "She doesn't want you here." Kamari reaches for her once again—Kali switching out her knife, pressing it into his neck. "I hope you do."
"Leesi, you know I wouldn't hurt you. I won't kill Q. Nobody gets hurt." He holds his hand out toward her, she looks up at him. "Baby, please, come home." She steps back, shaking her head.
"Please leave."
"I love you." His voice was begging, Khaleesi hits her hand on his chest.
"Just fucking leave! I hate you." Khaleesi races out of her room, Kali looking at Kamari then arching her eyebrow.
"Out."

"That man's officially lost his mind." Nizhoni takes another bite of her Caesar salad, she moans at how good the taste is then squirms in her seat. "You good though, Khaleesi? Niggas is crazy now-a-days. Gotta be careful, sis."
"She ain't careful, she with another crazy nigga." Khaleesi glares at Kali then smacks her shoulder. "Don't get mad at me cause that nigga left you high and dry last night."
"Fucking bitch!" She tugs on her hair and Nizhoni annoyingly breaks their fight up, Kali flicks her on the forehead and Khaleesi sighs. "I'm not with that man." Her cheeks hot and her mind bothered by just the thought of Ace, she still couldn't get Kamari's words off of her mental. "He's irritating as hell."
"When he's not in between your legs, just saying." Kali holds her hands up and Nizhoni shushes her. Khaleesi hears noisy talking coming from the corner of the café, they were currently on Michigan State's campus. Nizhoni goes to school here and has been for two years now—she's a nursing major. She spots the last face she wants to see and briskly ducks behind Kali, a string of curses coming from her mouth. "What is it?"
"It's Ace." Nizhoni races to Khaleesi's seat to help conceal her from his view. "Act normal." They pose in an awkward way causing Khaleesi to sigh out of frustration, she hits the seat causing Kali to jump.
"Fuck, he's looking."
"What?! You bitches were suppose to act normal." Khaleesi stands up—huffing out an exasperated breath, Nizhoni letting her have her seat back.
"Yo, Leesi!" She looks up at him then rolls her eyes, pulling a piece of hair behind her ear. "Man, niggas wanna act so fake. Scoot over." He moves into her seat grabbing her arm so she wouldn't fall over, Khaleesi groans hitting him in the chest.
"Y'all cute." Nizhoni points at the both of them, a wide smile on her face.
"That's what I be tryna tell her." He leans forward nodding towards Khaleesi, the view in the window reflecting off his golds.
"It's not happening." She switches her hair to the side and takes a few more bites of her fruit cup.
"Whatever man, look, you study for the test? Take my flash cards, quiz me." He hands Nizhoni a stack of white index cards, she purses her lips and begins to flip through them. Khaleesi tunes them out as she turns toward Kali, her nostrils flaring. "Don't be talking about me over there." His back pressing on her side a little, she gasps and suddenly grabs his wrist.
"You play too much!"
"You didn't fall though."
"Shutup! Kali, Niz, I'm finna go. I have to get dressed for work, tell me how your shift goes." She pats her sister's shoulder while standing up, her fruit secured in her hand.
"No goodbye to me?"
"Fuck you, Ace." Khaleesi glances back at him, he smiles standing up quickly to run after her.
"Come with me." She looks at him furrowing her eyebrows whilst glancing down at her phone, the time edging towards eleven o' clock. "You tough, you know that? I'll pay for your time. Call out." He licks his lips, stuffing his hands into his pockets.
Khaleesi eyes Ace up and down, her thoughts colliding in her mind. "Don't you got stuff to do? Gang stuff?" He laughs removing the black backpack off of his shoulder. "I'm serious, I don't need to be with anyone else doing this. I don't have time."
"Look, I'm tryna better myself—a nigga in college I'm tryna get my degree." She could understand that, she clears her throat looking down.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to judge you so quickly." Khaleesi squeezes the straps of her purse, moving a little closer to him. Her legs crossed as she shifts back and forth on her tip toes, her low-rise dark jeans hugging her curves—she wears a brown crop top to match. Her piercings sticking through the fabric of the shirt.
"You beautiful." She looks up at him through her fluffy extensions, a chuckle slipping through her lips. "Not you blushing."
"Nigga, just give me my money." He digs in his backpack, pulling out a roll of cash—she holds her hand out and he lays it in her palm. "This is more than what I get paid, sir. Take some back."
"Nah, it's double, keep it." She arches her eyebrow and smiles brightly.
"Oh, you got it like that?"
"I got it like that."
"Bye, where's the car?"
"In the back, let me holla at my niggas real quick. Don't go outside yet, wait for me."
"I guess, hurry up."
"Where you going?" Kali stops her little sister in her steps, her arm held out. "Don't be going no where near Kamari." She says before picking up her water to eventually gulp it down.
"I'm going with you know who, I'll be back."
"Uh oh, what y'all finna do?" Kali smirks, a playful look on her face. She has a piece of chocolate cake between her fingers, she places it in her mouth and chews slowly. "You need some condoms? Niz, get my bag." She whispers to her best friend, reaching her arm over the table.
"No need." They stop their movements to look over at her, Khaleesi crossing her arms over her chest. "Y'all, I'm not messing with that man." She whines, glancing over at Ace to see if he was done talking—she couldn't deny it: he was fine and they do have chemistry. "Just hurry up and pass them."
"That's my bitch." Nizhoni tosses them to her, she barely catches them as they land between the tip of her fingers. She stuffs them in her tote then straightens herself up when Ace begins to walk over.
"You ready? Car over here. We see y'all later." He grabs Khaleesi's hand as he walks pass, bringing her along. They get outside and she takes her hand from him, glaring at Ace through squinted eyes. "What I do?"
"Don't be tryna claim me in public, we not together and this—whatever we're doing is not a date."
"You afraid yo nigga watching?" He gently moves her body in front of him then away from the street as they begin to walk, his hands on her waist. She felt secure—melting under his soft touch.
"No, I'm not scared of him." She looks back at Ace batting her lashes, her gaze going back on the sidewalk—her eyebrows creasing a little. "Maybe... what happened in the diner?" Khaleesi stops in front of him, turning around.
"It wasn't nothing, quick little fight."
"Ace, come on."
"That shit gon' get me tight again, ain't no reason for you to be scared either." He laid his arm around her lower back, gradually moving her to the car. "May I open the door for you? Can I at least do that?" They now stand at the passenger side, a car riding past with smooth neo-soul tunes blasting. His lips beginning to lift in a closed smile as Khaleesi nods her head slowly.
"You are allowed." He opens the door to his coupe, Khaleesi bending down— getting into the car while eyeing him.
"Get ya pretty ass in there then."
"Boy bye, get in." He laughs jogging to the other side, hopping in the car—he shuts the door then groans when he hits the seat. "You so extra."
"And you a hater." He presses the push-start while his foot lays on the brake, Khaleesi laying back in the seat—adjusting it as needed. As soon as the car started, the vocals of Pnb rock filled the space. She relaxed, just a bit, the music and the night sky was a vibe to her. He backs out of the parking lot, Khaleesi raising down the window and laying her head on the seal.
The street lights brush across her face as he drives, his hand on the wheel as he glances over at her—the ends of her hair flying through the wind like fire embers. They come to a neighborhood that Khaleesi was all to familiar with, it was Ace's. Multiple people were outside—dancing, playing games, and talking amongst themselves. Trina echoing loudly throughout the streets, she hadn't been here in years.
The energy was amazing, that's all Khaleesi could think about. She leans back in her seat as Ace drives through, he waved at a couple people. They pull into a driveway, a not-so-large house in front of them—the porch full of men and a dash of women here and there. This is his brothers house, a safe place that him and Q used to have to come over and discuss business. "Thought you might be comfortable here."
He leans back against the seat, his arm hanging out of the open window. Khaleesi faces him, laying her cheek on the palm of her hand—her elbow holding up her weight. "What, you my bodyguard now?" He places a wood between his lips, lighting it—his hand up to block out the draft of the wind.
"I can be yo' forever one."
The street lights shining down through the car, Khaleesi feels the squeezing pressure in her face—her cheeks turning red. A closed smile subtly appearing on her lips, she turns toward the window at the neighbors next door barbecuing. "No."
"I'm not that bad once you get to know me."
"That's what they all say."
"I think you should—come find out for yourself." His hand laying on the top of his pants, she turns to him once again and shifts herself in the seat.
"I can't get caught up with anyone else right now." Khaleesi sighs then sits up, she plays with her squared nails—picking at the designs. "You seem like a great person, for real. Let me just try to work this out with Kamari." She was nervous, her thighs shaking as she waited for Ace's response.
"It's my turn now, though." Khaleesi instantly looks in his direction, a look of disbelief on her face.
"Who said I wanted you?"
"You wouldn't be here if you ain't want me, shorty." He takes another hit of his wood, he passes it to Khaleesi and she pauses before taking it in between her fingers. "At least you won't have to worry about ya family liking me."
She glares at him through a side eye then gently laughs, her lips wrapping around the wood. She takes several hits and inhales each one, her head beginning to feel light. Khaleesi could sense Ace's gaze on her, she glances over at him then passes the wood once again. "Whatever."
"Mhm."
"Yo, Ace." Somebody leans down into the window, pointing at the SRT driving down the street. He looks back and Khaleesi follows his stare, she immediately regrets it—recognizing the vehicle as Kamari's car.
"Shit."
"Who the fuck is that?" Ace opens his door and Khaleesi places her hand on his arm swiftly.
"Don't, can you niggas not tonight?" Khaleesi begs, she glances back at his car stopping on the side of the street. "Ace, please."
"Let me handle it, you want him off you right?" She completely stops, her eyes pricking with tears a little—she didn't have the time for drama and Kamari was definitely not giving her the space she needs. "Just stay right here...let me handle it. I promise I won't do no crazy shit. Aight?" Khaleesi squeezes the sides of her seat, she leans back and attempts to relax.
"Okay, just-just hurry up." Khaleesi pushes her seat back then peeks her head over the window. Ace jumping out of the car, pulling his pants up in the process. Her eyes landing on Kamari's built figure, a scowl on his face.
"Where she at?"
"Nigga, you ain't finna walk up in here demanding shit, where they do that at?" Khaleesi breathes out a frustrating breath, her chest moving up and down.
"I ain't got all night, Khaleesi!" One of his friends stops him from walking to the side of the car, his eyes glaring at Kamari as he pushes him back swiftly.
"Nigga." Kamari walks up to him but stops when he notices Leesi standing outside of the passenger door. Her hands hugging her arms as her eyebrows furrow, she walks up slowly—her body hiding itself behind Ace. "Leesi, let's go. You don't even know this nigga." His hand reaching for her, his friends blocking her quickly in one move—Ace already standing in front of Khaleesi.
"Tell you what, I like that you got heart—nigga showed up here by himself." Ace says, shaking his index finger at him—a couple laughs from here and there. Kamari taking a couple steps back, seeing that he was overpowered at the moment. "I'mma give you... two minutes to shake or I'mma kill you."
"Ace." Khaleesi's hand had grabbed the back of his shirt when Kamari came toward her, she couldn't deny it—she was terrified of him now. "You promised." Her voice was soft, barely above a whisper—she couldn't even look at Mari. Ace's dark stare was on his being, the silence was deafening.
"Why you still standing? Get yo' ass up out of here." His hands shoving him against his shoulders, Kamari comes toward Ace—swinging his fist at his cheek. He had dodged it, bringing his hand back and punching him in the face. Khaleesi gasps, Kamari stumbling back a little—his head moving to the side. "Ain't nobody finna jump in, what's good?"
"Cut it out." Khaleesi shoves past his friends and Ace—she eyes him before grabbing onto Kamari's shoulder to lead him to the car before he could react anymore. "Are you insane?! Mari, leave please."
"Leesi, I love you."
"Kamari, please-"
"I'm for real, Leesi." She pauses in her shoes, stopping the shifting on her feet—his eyes welled up with tears. "Baby, I'm sorry I should've trusted you. Would you please come home? Please. I'll prove to you how much I'm sorry, anything."
"Kamari, I need time to think—just give me time to think."
"So you spending your time with him? You don't know him, you just met this fucking nigga?" Khaleesi backs away her eyes looking up at him, he was hurt—extremely hurt. He was really trying to control himself and these strong feelings of anger. "I don't give a fuck about him starting shit, I wanna leave with you."
"I knew you for years and you still were going to kill me, Mari." He gazes down at her.
"I was never gonna kill you, it was just a plan Leesi just in case. But, I realize that that hurt you. I'm sorry, I apologize—I'm not going to ever do that shit again."
"Maybe this is for the best."
"What you talking about? We not done, please, don't push me away right now."
"Maybe we need to be, it's dangerous, Mari." He sighs and shaking his head, Khaleesi follows his gaze. "You know I'm right, you know I am."
"Then let's run." He was being persistent and she didn't want to acknowledge it but it was absolutely turning her on, such an inappropriate time. "I wanna spend the rest of my life with you." Her lashes shutting close a couple times, his eyes scanning every corner of hers. "We'll start over, do it for real this time." It sounded so good, she wanted to jump into his arms so badly but was being held back by her own pride and hurt.
"I can't trust you anymore, I think it's best if we just part ways." She couldn't even look at Kamari, her eyes facing the concrete. She had dealt with so much heartbreak, her chest aching and her head pounding—she couldn't afford another bad guy. She found herself walking away from him, leaving him standing at his car.
She hears the tires streaking against the pavement, Khaleesi stomping up to Ace her finger pressing into his chest. "Don't do that shit again." His hand grabbing onto her arm before she could reach the passenger door, she looks back at him—irritation dancing all over her face.
"I'm just tryna protect you."
"I don't need your protection! Take me the fuck home."

THE TAYLOR RESIDENCE
the story of
DETROIT
khaleesi
FUTURE
and ace.
CHAPTER TWO.
If you told me a year ago that I would have two beautiful kids with the most notorious dealers in Detroit I'd tell you you're lying. Kamari I would believe but Ace, not so much. Mari is chill, calm and calculated with his moves—very strategic might I add. Shy, but very emotionally intelligent. Ace, a wildcard and—well, do I even need to say much he's a fire sign. That night in the diner was considered iconic, memorable even.
It triggered the beef between Mari and my brother even more, Ace and Q were allies and it only made things worse. Little did I know, the man I met that night would be someone I'd come to love for the next couple of months—a love that grew so much we created a baby girl, Alari.
•••
Kamari had not talked to Khaleesi since last night, she kept watching the clock—bored with each passing second. She was concerned, was he okay? Things got hectic, his friends dropped her off with no words—just silence. She takes another bite of her oats and chews them slowly, she just wants to be in his presence. Khaleesi hears her phone ring and jumps, she drops her spoon ignoring the loud clattering of the glass.
"Unknown caller?" She furrows her eyebrows and answers out of curiosity.
"Hello?"
"Leesi." The man's voice from last night vibrating through her ear, her mouth slightly open as she's lost on what to do. "I know you on the other side."
"How did you get my shit?"
"Calm down with all that, I just wanna talk."
"About?"
"Your brother know you fucking enemies?" She heard his footsteps walking, pacing back and forth—Khaleesi's heart dropping to the pit of her stomach.
"I'll fucking kill you if you-"
"What I say?" Khaleesi scoffs and hangs up on him out of impulse. She breathes heavily watching as he calls back, her finger pressing on the green button.
"Nigga, fuck you." Khaleesi says as quietly as she can.
"I don't think you'd be doing all that talking if we got to know each other for real. Outside, 5 minutes."
"No."
"I'll come in this bitch and get you personally." Khaleesi leans her head back looking toward the doorway, she speed walks over to the foyer—her bare feet patting against the tile. She opens the door and he leans on the entrance, that same cheeky smile on his face. "What's up?" A cut going across his cheek, she eyes it making him touch it gently. "Don't worry, I'm good."
"I don't care, are you insane?"
"Are you impressed?"
"Ayo!" Q Taylor shouts from behind him, pulling up in an all black G-wagon. Music coming from his car and echoing into the atmosphere, he takes a swisher from out of his mouth. "Ace, bruh, suppliers not coming in till later. Ma dukes making dinner, 2K on the TV. Lil sis, what's up? Why you standing in the door, goofy."
He smashes Khaleesi's hair and she sighs out of irritation hitting him in his arm, he bucks at her and she pushes her finger back against his forehead. Ace laughs at the two and she glares at him quickly while fixing her hair. "I'm going to my room, don't be obnoxious. Bitch ass niggas." Khaleesi screams as she walks up the stairs, they look back at her.
"Aye." They say in unison, she stomps her way to her room—slamming the door behind her. She had came back down an hour later, all dressed up and smelling like a field of fresh flowers. Her hair curled to perfection and parted in the middle—her heels clacking on the stone stairs.
"Where you going?" Ace stands in front of the island making him a sandwich, he squeezes a generous amount of mustard on the bread.
"None of your business."
"Hope it's not with that traitor ass nigga." His voice increasing on the certain word, she widens her eyes then looks around the living room quickly—Q nowhere to be found. "He's not here." Khaleesi crosses her legs and flicks her hair out of her face, he takes a bite of his sandwich then nods his head.
"What do you want?"
"I don't want nothing from you, love."
"Then what? You're just going to hang this over my head?"
"Why you so uptight with me? That shit gotta stop."
"Excuse me?" Khaleesi sees him shaking his head, chuckling. "You're impossible!" She walks toward the door, hearing his footsteps—rolling her eyes. "Nigga, I swear to god if you grab me!" He places his hand on her shoulder, Leesi turns around slapping him on the cheek. He pushes her back onto the door, Khaleesi exhaling deeply while coming face-to-face with him.
"There you go, you calm?"
"Very much so."
"Mhm."
"Move." He looks her up and down then backs away, Khaleesi eyes him while turning around.
"My bad, I'll give you your space."
"Yea, do that."
"Do me a favor, before you leave? Ask Kamari about his plan to kill your brother and you."
"What?" Khaleesi's eyebrows crease as she turns around completely, staring at him dumbfounded. "He would never."
"No, I would never lie to you."
"You tweaking."
"Me? Shawty, your man is planning on killing you and you talking about me?" He scowls and strolls back to the kitchen, taking ahold of his sandwich and biting into it for the second time—the crunch of the potato chips on the bread irritating Khaleesi even more. "I'm tryna save you."
"I'll ask him myself." He looks up at her, putting his sandwich down then shifting back and forth on his feet—standing still. "He wouldn't do this, you're a fucking liar."
"Be mad at me all you want, I'm not letting you go over there, forget it." The shining golds on his selected teeth peek out at her when she glances in his direction—making sure she had enough time, Khaleesi opens the door leaving swiftly.
"Khaleesi! Yo." She races to her car in her heels, chuckling—she didn't look back once. "You better not get in that damn car." Leesi climbs in and slams her door, she locks the vehicle then sticks her tongue out at him. "I swear on everything! You stubborn as hell." He pulls on the handle then kicks the door, Khaleesi holds up her middle finger. "Mhm, keep that same energy when I get ahold of ya ass."
She pulls off turning up the music on the radio, Khaleesi sits back and shakes her hair from her face. What he said about Kamari sticks to her mind, he wouldn't—would he? Khaleesi had already been through this with Kali, hearing it again had to mean it was true. And who did this man think he was? She thinks rather loudly, his cologne still lingering around her nostrils. The way he handled her though? She scrunches up her nose then shakes her head, she doesn't want to think too deeply on it.

-Tink, Circa 2024
She knew this was going to be hard, Khaleesi didn't want to just come out asking about the elephant on her mind. She hears the rambunctious music on the other side of the door, looking down the dim hallway once again before knocking. She shifts back and forth on her feet, fumbling with her fingers. When he takes longer than expected she begins to get nervous, emotional even.
Khaleesi bangs on the door now, she sighs stepping back for a second. "Mari!"
It opens and Kamari comes out, he jerks Khaleesi in and she gasps. "How the hell you get here?" She wraps her arms around his neck, throwing all of her weight on him—he hugs her back tightly. "Baby, what's wrong? Who messed with you?" Khaleesi leans back, tears streaming down her face. Kamari grabs her waist then glances over at the men in the living room, looks of concern on their faces.
She concealed hers into his shoulder as Kofi walks over, Kamari looks at him then walks the both of them past the living room and down the corridor. They go into the bedroom and Khaleesi takes a seat on the bed, she swipes at her tears—preventing the rest from sliding down. The diamonds on her long nails shimmering under the LED lights, Kamari walks up to her—placing his hand on her cheek. "What happened?"
"Someone," Khaleesi clears her throat then tried her best to look up at him, her eyes landing on Kamari after a few seconds, "they told me you want to kill Q and m-me."
"Whose this someone?"
"That's not the point, Kamari."
"It's the main damn point, what are we talking about right now?" Khaleesi stands up making him back up a little, she presses on his chest when he wouldn't move out of the way. "Khaleesi."
"I don't want to do this with all the yelling and cussing."
"Do what? What are we doing? Hm?" He gets in her face, she stares up at him—their lips grazing. He leans down just an inch, kissing her—Khaleesi moans then places her arms around his neck once again. He bends down to pick her up—just to lay her on the bed, he pulls her dress up then tugs her underwear off.
She sits up watching his tongue attack her clit, her back feeling weak as she falls back onto the mattress—Khaleesi whimpers bringing her hands over her breast. "Oh shit, baby." She pushes him and he smiles at her kissing her deeply, his teeth biting down gently on her bottom lip. "We have to stop... Mari."
"You want me to stop? Is that what you want me to do?" He says, while going back down in between her thighs, Khaleesi breathes softly preparing to feel him on her again. His tongue flicks onto her clit, she gasps—her hand holding on to the back of his neck as she rolls her hips. "You don't want me to stop for real."
"Mari, oh my- fuck yes." She cries as the pressure between her hips causes her vision to cloud. He kisses her clit one more time before standing up and pulling her closer to him. "We can't, we can't we have to talk." Khaleesi exhales, her chest heaving up and down as she presses a kiss on his lips. "Mari, I love you."
"I love you."
"Then tell me the truth, please." He looks at her, his hands relaxing on her waist.
"There was a plan- Khaleesi listen, we only had it just in case anything went left when I met you." She shakes her head, shoving her body against his—she pushes him harder this time and with her hands. "Leesi."
"You planned this whole thing? You were using me to get back at Q."
"No, fuck no it's not like that."
"Then what's it like? I trusted you."
"No, Khaleesi listen, please." She stands up getting away from him swiftly, her hands moving him. "I'm not going nowhere, so fuck that shit."
"I don't want to talk to you, we're done, Mari."
"The fuck? No the hell we not." Khaleesi turns toward him and crosses her arms over her chest, she pulls her dress down then grabs her purse off the bed. "Let's finish talking."
"No, I want to leave," Kamari clenches his jaw and watches as Khaleesi fixes her hair. They stood on the opposite sides of the room, he wants to be close to her but she wasn't allowing it—her walls shooting up in an instant.
"I don't know what the hell you did in your last shit but you ain't running from this, we not done talking and we not done." He walks over to her and she steps back, turning her head away from him. "Don't be like that."
"You have five minutes."
"We had a plan just in case things went left and clearly they didn't. Yes, I planned the meet up at the gas station but you already knew I was crazy, Khaleesi. We thought you might be on Q's side but clearly you stand by yourself and I'm sorry. Baby, I'm sorry, you can be mad at me as long as you want but we not breaking up."
"I have to think."
"Okay, then think here."
"No, Mari. I just need to be away from you. I can't trust you, not right now."
"I don't wanna be away from you." She could feel his intense stare on her, Khaleesi breaks away and opens the bedroom door. She walks out quickly, tears threatening to fall down her face once again. Kofi walks up and holds his hands up, she shakes her head and leaves. "Nigga, you just let her go?" Kamari runs out into the hallway, his friend looking confused.
"I don't know what's going on, nigga!" He catches up to her, grabbing onto her hand.
"Leesi, please." Kamari pulls her in, she hits him against his chest and he grunts reaching for her once again.
"Leave me alone!"
"No, you not leaving here till we on good terms. I gotta know you coming back to me. Fuck, Leesi just stay." She glares at him pulling her hand away from him. "We don't gotta touch, look at each other, none of that I just want you here." She wanted to give in so badly, the way he was looking at her was filled with nothing but love and admiration.
"I wanna leave, Mari."
"Okay, okay. Just promise me, you'll call me when you get home." His hand holding on to her wrist softly, he looks at her for several seconds. "Let me take you home."
"No, I want someone else too." She couldn't even look at him, she could feel the disapproval radiating off his body.
"Okay... Khaleesi, I love you."
"I know."
•••
Kofi had dropped Khaleesi back off at her car then followed her on the way, he didn't go far into the neighborhood—just close enough to make sure she made it. She parks her
Altima and collapses onto the steering wheel, Khaleesi feels tears pricking at her eyes and groans out of frustration. "Not right now." Her voice soft and breaking with each second, Khaleesi gets out and treads toward the house.
She walks inside then furrows her eyebrows when she steps into a cloud of smoke—yelling coming from the living room. She coughs and shoos the smell away from her nose—Khaleesi glances toward the kitchen seeing Ace, Q, and his friends around the island smoking and watching a fight on the small television diagonal from the microwave. "Why tonight?"
"Afternoon, Leesi." She gestures at the men standing near the door with AK's around their bodies, her hands rubbing her eyes out of exhaustion. Coming home to her brothers obnoxious meetups was nothing new, in fact, it happened almost every night when she was in high school.
Ace spots Khaleesi and subtly eyes her, she drags her body upstairs—fantasizing about laying in her bed and crashing for the night. She barges into her room and falls on the soft sheets, Leesi screams into the comforter then sighs heavily when she realizes that that didn't solve anything. She hears a knock on her door and sits up quickly, Ace standing at the entrance.
"I heard you scream, trouble in paradise?"
"Yo, get the fuck out my room!" She yells and grabs a pillow throwing it at his face. Khaleesi stomps up to him then without thinking, swings her arm back and punches him right on the cheek. His head moving carelessly to the right, she steps back her mind racing.
Her hands clasped over her mouth out of shock, Ace moves his jaw to the left—then to the right. He moves toward her and she backs up gradually, one foot behind the other.
The silence in the room so deafening it was suffocating, her hair falling over her face for the thousandth time today. Ace leans down kissing her, their lips smacking against one another. Leesi moans under her breath, her body wanting his touch.
They pull away, their breathing now the only audible thing in the room—her eyelids slowly falling on his face. He was getting excited and she could tell, glancing down at the print outlining his sweats. "What you tryna do?"
His voice low and seductive-like, he leans forward to kiss her again—she lifts up and he pulls back before his lips could hit hers. They kiss once again, Khaleesi could feel her body getting feeble—her hand laying on his cheek as he takes off his jacket. Her palms sliding down the multiple tattoos etched in his skin, he lets it drop to the floor then pulls her body closer to him by her shirt. She gasps feeling his hand grab ahold of her neck, Khaleesi whimpers—the kiss becoming deeper.
"Ace." She begs and he pulls away smiling against her lips.
"Shut the fuck up." He pushes her against the dresser, everything was moving so fast she couldn't keep up. "You wanna hit me, now you wanna say my name? I'm confused." Her hands gripping on his wrist as he stares down at her, the tension between them was dense. Her panties soaking by now, he squeezes the sides of her neck causing Khaleesi to kiss him suddenly once again.
He pulls her away, only to pick her up into his arms and place her on the dresser. "You want me all in that pussy, don't you?" His raspy voice vibrating against her mouth, Khaleesi moans—a sharp gasp coming from her lips when she feels his fingers massage onto her clit. Her eyes slightly rolling into the back of her head, he hums in agreement—loving the way she looks in this moment. "Wet ass pussy, fuck."
"Fuck, Ace." She says as quietly as she could, the bedroom door still open. Their lips meeting once again, his tongue slipping into her mouth—a moan going into his.
"Say my name like that again and I'mma turn you the fuck out." He says, softly—breaking away, his fingers coming out from between her thighs. Ace grins, moving from her completely—he picks up his jacket. His teeth biting on the corner of his bottom lip as he looks at Khaleesi's embarrassed figure. "We good?" She stands up straight, straightening her dress hurriedly.
"Yes, sorry. For hitting you, I mean."
"No worries, a nigga got studying to do—give me your phone." Her eyes dart across the room searching for it, she spots it then unlocks the device seeing that Kamari had called her several times. "Hubby call?" She gasps when she realizes he was right in front of her, his hand held out.
"Don't accidentally hit his contact."
"I got this." She watches him carefully as he punches a few keys on the board, Khaleesi peeks over at the screen watching him. She glances up at Ace and he leans down placing a tender kiss on her lips. "Block him." He hands her the phone back, their eyes on one another. "I'mma hit you up, stay away from that nigga." His voice was earnest, Khaleesi nods her head hesitantly as he walks out of the bedroom.
She relaxes against the dresser, her body tense. Her fingers playing with the bottom of her dress randomly, she didn't know what to do with herself. "What the fuck just happened?" Khaleesi's head switches over to the door, Kali stands there her face filled with confusion. "Girl, are you talking to Ace? What about Kamari?"
Khaleesi rolls her eyes and rushes her sister out of her room quickly, Kali yells trying to keep the door open. "Leesi!"
"I'll tell you later, I need to meditate!" She shuts it completely.

HONEY. | LIL MEECH
chapter seven.
"𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙚 𝙥𝙪𝙩 𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙨."
-Young Dolph, Circa 2018
"Good morning, boys." Khaleesi walks out of the hotel room, her hair a mess on top of her head: she waves to the guards and begins to walk down the hall. The men say a faint greeting and continue conversing with one another, Khaleesi comes to the middle of the corridor where the ice machine rests. She holds the shiny chrome bucket underneath the dispenser and presses a black button.
Her legs weak from last night, Khaleesi's fingers brush against her neck—a little gasp slipping from her lips. Love bites clouded her skin, her head still buzzing. She holds up the bucket and grabs a slippery ice chip—throwing it into her mouth. She goes back into the room, closing the door softly behind her. Khaleesi pushes her hair to the side annoyingly then takes another piece of ice in her hand.
The way Kamari made love to her last night, it's all she can think about. The guards outside had no choice but to hear. Her orbs still hold a glimpse of passion, her dark brown eyes full and empty. Khaleesi places the bucket down on the small table next to the door, she walks her way through the spacious suite: the spikes of sunshine warming up her skin.
"Leesi." Kamari comes around the corner with a towel around his waist, his muscles and tattoos more defined with beads of water on his skin. Her head switches toward him as she is suddenly pushed out of her thoughts—it was crazy to her how he could just act normal after having his way with her body last night.
Khaleesi hums quietly, answering back to the call of her name: she didn't even think she could look in Kamari's eyes— she practically rushed out of the room this morning to avoid him. Leesi looks away once again, directing her gaze in a different part of the room. All she could picture was his stare pinned on her and his intense words slipping through her ear— calling her a 'good girl' every once in a while for taking him so well.
A sensational feeling grows between her thighs like a rose in a dark room, she bites the corner of her bottom lip. "You good?" She feels his warm and heavy presence right behind her, Khaleesi looks up and jumps slightly. "Baby." She turns around after hearing his stern voice, her hands placed on his chest.
"I'm good, I got the ice— it's over there." She points in the direction of the table, her eyes staying on his neck. She felt soft in his presence before but now she feels like a marshmallow. "Mari, stop looking at me like that." She pushes his chest and he smiles, her laugh filling the room.
"I can't look at my girl?" He meets her stare and she grins looking away, Kamari leaves a kiss on her cheek then her neck and down on her shoulder. "Hm?" The sound of his voice made the feeling between her legs increase, she squeezes them subtly—she wants him again but is too afraid to ask? "Let me see your face." His thumb grabbing gently onto her chin, turning her head slowly towards him.
"Kamari." She whines softly, tilting her head toward the ground and sighing. He pulls her close once again, the muscle in his arm flexing as he did so.
"You pushing me away all ready? Too bad, I'm not going anywhere."
"I don't want you too."
"Why you acting like that then?"
"I'm sorry, you're just—you're making me nervous."
"Khaleesi, be for real with me."
"I wanna fuck again." She covers her mouth then closes her eyes—clearing her throat out of embarrassment. He arches his eyebrow, a smile sneaking upon his lips. "It felt really good and now every-time I see you I get hot and bothered and it's frustrating." She rambles on, her voice raising slightly at the end.
"You was afraid to ask me for sex?" She nods her head quietly, her eyes now looking in his. "Im ya man, I'm suppose to please you when you want it." He looks down at her, his eyes low and his face full of playfulness. "We can fuck whenever you want to, I'mma always be down. Matter fact, take these fucking panties off." He read her mind, his fingers pulling several times at the waistband of her underwear.
"Please?" He tilts his head then arches his eyebrow, Kamari leans down to plant a kiss on her lips—Khaleesi smiles, his tongue slipping into her mouth. Her eyebrows crease as their lips move smoothly over one another, the back of her legs hit the front of the bed causing her to fall down on the feathery mattress. "Kamari." Khaleesi's voice low and breathless, they couldn't keep their eyes off one another—her legs wrapped tightly around his waist.
The pad of her fingers pinching at his curly black hair, the corner of his lips lifting up into a closed smile. "What?" Khaleesi squeezes her leg against his side gently, the air around them warm and comforting.
"Let me eat it."
"Why you asking?" She opens her legs, his hands pulling her forward as he stands up looking down at Khaleesi. His lips dancing down her smooth legs, she moans as his tongue hits her clit hungrily, the way it moves and circulated around her sensitive core causes her to arch her back off the bed. Her eyes rolling into the back of her head, she needed this so badly. She wants him.
Her juices being licked up almost instantly, her thighs squeeze his neck. "Nigga." She tries her best to sit up, her lower body weak and squirming under his hold. She gasps out of shock, her hips swaying with his movements. "Ooo fuck, Mari." Her voice high-pitched at the end of her sentence, Khaleesi's eyebrows furrowing as she grips his chain. She wanted to feel him more, her voice saying his name softly—his eyes fell on her face.
"Yes baby?" He smiles gently, looking at her pleasure-stricken face. "Where you want me?" She sits up, pressing a kiss against his lips—her hands pulling on his towel. Kamari pulls away, he lays on the bed right beside her. "Bring that ass here, shit." Khaleesi grins then crawls over—sitting right on his face, his lips connecting to her clit. Her body shivers under his touch, the feeling causing her eyes to roll once again. His hands found their way on her ass, gripping her bottom in his hands.
His tongue finds it way inside of her and Khaleesi has a sharp gasp come from her lips. Her breath shaky as she moans up a storm, falling apart on top of him. "Kamari, I want you now." She whimpers, guiding his hands up her body slowly—he squeezes her breast then kisses her core tenderly. She was being vocal and he loves every second of it. Khaleesi turns around and takes a hold of him, his member already popped up. His eyes never leaving hers as she puts him inside of her, Kamari sits up gripping her waist.
A moan coming out of his mouth as she sits completely down on his lap. "Shit, you feel so fucking good." Khaleesi whimpers then begins to bounce up and down on his hard member, the feelings exploding in her body was euphoric. "Yes, yes." She says quietly to herself, her teeth biting into her bottom lip—her eyes rolling again as the feeling below builds up.
"Fuck." He grabs her jawline roughly, she whimpers as he kisses her lips several times. "You finna cum on that dick?" His hips bucking up as he thrusts inside of her. "My fucking pussy." Khaleesi moans against his lips, her breathing shaky. "Answer me when I'm talking to you." He hisses into her ear, a sharp smack coming down on her ass. She gasps loudly, her mind quickly fixing to say something.
"Y-yes." Khaleesi kisses him gingerly, he pulls her in closer if that was even possible. The way she rides him now, her hips swaying in a motion that's driving him crazy.
"You betta not stop fucking me like that, the fuck." His deep voice is raspy as he looks down at them connecting repeatedly, she places her hands on his face—her lips pressing a kiss against his.
•••
Khaleesi squeezes Kamari's hand as they walk through the outside corridor of the mall, her weight was slightly leaning on him because of the heeled-boots she wears. "Baby, pictures please!" The men behind them stopping when Khaleesi steps in front of him, Kamari smiles at her enjoying herself—she was relaxing and happy. He takes the phone, snapping a couple shots for her—Khaleesi posing as best as she could.
"Yea, period." Kofi, Kamari's friend, walks up beside him with a styrofoam cup in his hand, he was recovering well from his gunshot wound. "Here, nigga, you not getting them angles." Khaleesi laughs loudly, she rolls her eyes and walks over grabbing her phone.
"You play too much, move."
"You heard my girl, bitch ahh nigga."
"Mannn, I would've did better than you." Khaleesi tunes the two of them arguing out as she looks over in the display windows. The pretty clothing and variety of items catching her eye, she spots a gorgeous gold necklace—a medium-sized 'K' pendant attached to it.
"What you see?" Kamari comes from behind her, she relaxes against his body—taking in his warm embrace.
"That necklace, it's pretty. I didn't bring any money with me though, it's okay I can come back and get it." He creases his eyebrows and digs in his pocket. "Baby, no." Khaleesi attempts to stop him from pulling the bills out of his pocket.
"You want it?"
"Yes, yes I do."
"Let's go get it then."
They went around the mall, Khaleesi was getting all types of clothes and accessories because of Kamari. The truth is he loves spoiling her, she really didn't have anything growing up and he wanted her to understand she didn't have to want for anything. She kisses him on the lips quickly while going into a Sephora, Khaleesi shrieks as one of Kamari's friends take ahold of her shopping bags.
"Man." Kofi comes up to him, his arms cross as he stares straight ahead at the entrance of the store. "What's up?"
"Somebody tried invading our territory again, what we gon' do about that?" Kamari laughs, he sighs—his eyes never leaving Khaleesi's figure.
"Who was it?"
"One of Q's men, got him locked up at the warehouse back home."
"Fuck ass nigga always tryna fuck with somebody, I guess we gotta end this shit early?" Kofi nods his head, he motions a hand gesture at one of the men—they turn around going into the store to get Khaleesi. They both hear talking on the other side of the corridor, Kamari and Kofi's eyes glance over at the two men walking.
He recognizes them, one was the perpetrator behind Kofi's wound. Kamari's eyes switch over to his friend, he tilts his head over to the two of them. "Khaleesi, come here." Kamari grabs her hand and pulls her close to his body, she looks at him confused as to what's going on.
"Is everything okay, baby?"
"Yea, you hungry?" He kisses her lips and wraps his arm around her shoulders.
"Yesss, I want some Chinese food." Kamari looks back at Kofi.
"Handle that." He smiles and walks toward the two men almost instantly, Kamari's friends following behind.
"Where they going?" Khaleesi watches as Kofi punches one guy in the jaw, the impact so harsh he slams to the ground. She gasps and Kamari kisses her temple, he walks them around the corner to get her eyes away from the scene. Maybe Khaleesi underestimated Kamari's power.
•••
"What happened back there?" Khaleesi stuffs a few fries in her mouth, she swallows then picks up her pink lemonade on the side of the table. Kamari stares at her, taking in the flavors of her food and thoroughly picking out what to try next. "Mari, are you listening to me?"
"Yes, my love. It's nothing you have to worry about. Alright? Finish eating your food, I wanna take some more pictures of you." Khaleesi grins and laughs softly.
"For your personal collection? You're obsessed, it's disgusting." Kamari holds up his middle finger and she laughs swatting at his hand.
"You heard what I said though."
"I got you."
"Can I please have a fry?" Khaleesi leans forward placing one in between his teeth.
"I'm thinking about getting a job." Kamari tilts his head and leans back, she knew he wouldn't like the idea of that but—Khaleesi wants to earn her own money. She wants to get things on her own and Kamari buying her stuff today only motivated her to do so. "I found this ad for a small role at the diner, it's not much but great for a start."
"Leesi, you don't need no job."
"Kamari, be for real. I want to get money on my own, I love when you take care of me and I appreciate it greatly. I need to do this for myself, I wanna move out you know?" Khaleesi runs her fingers through the ends of her hair and sighs, he wasn't taking it well.
"Why you don't want me taking care of you? I don't have no problem doing it." His hoodie low on his head as he talks to her, the glistening diamonds around his neck.
"I know baby, it's okay, I wanna do this." Kamari exhales deeply, his nostrils flaring as he sits back all the way in his chair. "You can come visit me sometimes."
"With a piece of pie waiting for me, every time?"
"Yes, you still like pecan?"
"You know ya nigga so well." Khaleesi laughs then grabs his hand intertwining their fingers. "As soon as you get tired of it, you leave and I'll step in."
"I promise." She was so bless, that's all that could circulate through her mind. Having someone that wants to take care and provide for her, she wants to please him in every way possible. Khaleesi's heart thumping against her chest as blood rushes up to her cheeks.
"Kamari, I love you."
"I love you too."
"No like, I love you so much." Kamari leans forward kissing her lips multiple times.
"I love you so so much. You not going nowhere." She pulls away, cheesing, taking a couple more of her fries.

ONE WEEK LATER
ACE's INTRO
11:00 PM
•••
Khaleesi wipes down the diner counter for the third time, she leans over causing her skirt to come up slightly—she rolls her eyes and sighs out of irritation. The pinned-skirt the manager gave her was awfully short and raised up with just any movement. She swings her hair to the side and groans, Leesi heard the door open and the bell singing loudly.
"I'll be with you in a second."
"Yes mam." A deep southern accent filling her ears, she could hear a group of men laughing and talking up a storm—not another entourage of loud people. She turns around facing the group of boys, there's one in particular that stood out amongst them. He has a yellow hat on his head, his little fro sticking out in the front. A thick cloud of smoke slipping from his lips and dispersing into the air. The royal blue sign outside—it's light flickering against the wet pavement, Khaleesi places her hand on her hip.
"You can't smoke in here." Her mink lashes hit her cheeks, she walks up to the individual and bugs her eyes out at him when he takes longer than expected to put it out. He laughs and smashes the wood against the glass ashtray on the counter.
"My bad, love. I apologize."
"It's alright, what can I get you?"
"What you recommend?"
"Boy, you know you've been here before."
"Aye, you funny." He grins while laughing once again, Khaleesi couldn't find anything amusing. "I have, I like that steak dinner." She leans over writing down his order on a note pad. "Leesi?" She sighs taking her name tag off and laying it flat on the counter.
"Unfortunately, yes."
"You really don't like me? I can make that change for real." He leans closer causing Khaleesi to arch her eyebrow.
"I have a man but thank for you for the offer. I'll have to politely decline." She rips his order off the notepad and takes it to the window, this has got to be the hundredth time she's reject men's advances towards her.
"Whose ya man?" Khaleesi looks back at him and tilts her head laughing, the look in his eyes told her he was showing intense conviction. She swings her hair to the side then turns around fully.
"She ain't the one." The cook yells from the back, Khaleesi leans on the counter crossing her arms over her chest.
"Ah, he must be important. He a killa?"
"If you keep talking to me, he is."
"You dangerous, huh?"
"Listen, does your homeboys want anything? If not, stop talking to me." She didn't really want to be responsible for anything or anybody. He licks his lips and leans back in his seat, his eyes falling on Khaleesi one more time.
"You happy?"
"I just want you beside me just like my cup is girl." There's music that plays quietly in the back, the soothing tune was her favorite by Lial. When the management wasn't here she played songs, it was calming and it gave her something to do during late night hours.
"Joyful, nigga." Her alarm sounds on the right corner behind the counter, it was 11:30. Khaleesi feels her heart skip a beat, she was excited to see Kamari. Khaleesi runs over to turn the Bluetooth off and then unties her apron—a jet black Cadillac pulling up in the parking lot. He was always on time.
"That your man?" Khaleesi eyes him then rolls her eyes, he smiles playfully. "Shawty, giving me the silent treatment now. Damn." She ignores him and grabs her coat and a small white box that sat under it. Kamari walks in, the smile on his face already visible. The group of men still speaking in the back, Khaleesi walks up to him—planting a kiss on his lips.
"You good? Let's go." He feels a set of eyes on him, Kamari turns his head and sees the man staring. Khaleesi feels a ping of fear strike through her heart, she comes from behind the counter and pulls on his arm.
"Baby, come on I'm hungry."
"Man, what the fuck is you looking at?" The diner falls silent, the man's friends talking coming to a stop. He stands up and Kamari begins to walk toward him, his eyebrows creasing—the cook shuts a metal window down over the opening. Khaleesi rushes over to the both of them getting in between.
"Just hold on, let's just go. Not tonight." The man's height exceeding Khaleesi's, his sweet yet musky cologne filling her nostrils. It smelled amazing.
"Listen to your girl." He laughs, a straight look coming on his face right after.
"My girl ain't none of ya fucking business, bruh get the fuck out of here for I get tight." He scowls, an array of tingles from the bell sounding through the room—Kamari's friends filing in the restaurant one by one. Kofi gently grabs Khaleesi's hand and leads her over to the door.
"Mari, baby please, let's just go."
"Leesi." He turns toward her and she immediately regrets it, his eyes were dark and he looked furious. She allows one of the guys to open the door for her, Khaleesi didn't even dare look in the other individual's direction. The man's people had came up beside him as well, he grips his backpack's straps tightly.
"Y'all wanna get down? We with all that."
"What you talking about then, nigga?" Kamari spat, Khaleesi walks out—her eyes continuing to peek over his friends shoulder. She makes contact with the man and then all hell broke loose. Hits being thrown in all directions, she couldn't keep up. She's rushed into the car, the driver pulls off quickly—Khaleesi's mind racing she couldn't believe what was happening.

HONEY| LIL MEECH.
chapter six.
"𝙄 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙙."
-Sade, circa 1993
5:30PM
"Is he doing better?" Khaleesi paces the fancy restroom, she attempts to talk loudly over the classical music. The short train on the gown she wears comes to a halt as she turns and looks in the mirror. She pulls up at the sides of her black dress—fixing her breast into place, Kamari's voice on the other side of the phone rambles on as she does so.
"He doing way better, I got him at home resting: got some people circling his place to make sure he good." As Kamari promised, he got Khaleesi home on time: after fixing up his friend's wound she rushed to the shower to wash off his scent then got dressed. She holds her phone between her shoulder and ear, her eyes glancing toward the door every few seconds. "You ain't find no colleges did you?"
Khaleesi knows he doesn't want her to go, the anxiousness in his voice stuck out. She bites down on the corner of her bottom lip, her hand clutching the phone. "I did, I saw a couple good ones but, it's too early to decide. My dad was... he was thinking about Atlanta." Her voice was low, barely audible. Her father has been wanting Khaleesi to be an alumna at Spelman, she would be the first in the family to graduate from college and an HBCU.
She hears silence on the other end but, it said a lot. "I know you your own woman and shit but, Leesi, I don't want you to go."
"You know it's my dad, I don't want to go either. But, I have to—"
"No you don't, wait, hold on baby— what the fuck you want, nigga? Damn." He takes his mouth away from the receiver, his booming voice trailing off. Khaleesi shakes her head then rakes her fingers through the ends of her hair, she curled it earlier but now they were starting to fall. "All you gotta do is say the word, you know?" His low voice coming back into the phone, she squeezes the counter in front of her. "And I'd get you out of there, with the quickness: for real."
Khaleesi shifts back and forth on her feet, she didn't know what to say. She didn't understand how he would get her without anyone dying. "That's dangerous." She interjects, her voice sharp: his raspy laugh now in her ear. "Nigga, what's funny?"
"So that's a yes?"
"I don't want anything to happen to you, Kamari please." Khaleesi begs quietly, she rolls her eyes.
"Nothing is going to happen to me, I got this. In and out, 20 minutes." She stomps her foot then crosses her free arm over her chest, Khaleesi sighs and shakes her head—what would Kali think? "Baby, trust me, please."
"When the time comes."
"Okay, be ready for our date though."
"What you mean? We're doing that tonight?"
"Hell yea, I'mma be there around 10: I'll come help you pack a bag." That only meant that Khaleesi had to get Kali to cover for her again. She already told their mother she went to a sleepover with one of her girl friends for last night.
"Kali has to cover for me again, I don't think she's going to do it though. I'm sorry, baby. We can do it another time."
"Nah, she gonna cover for you again. I think she seeing my homeboy."
"What?!" Khaleesi's eyebrows crease as she looks towards the door, her heart dropping to the pit of her stomach. "Boy, what the hell are you talking about? She hates y'all."
"He told me last night, said they met at the gas station that night but she didn't know at first." Khaleesi thinks back on the time she first seen Kamari, trying to see if there was any time throughout the night Kali wasn't accounted for. She hears a dainty knock on the bathroom, her head switches over to the door. "I gotta go, I'll talk to you later."
"I love you, perpetually." Khaleesi smiles, her nails tapping against the counter: her head completely empty.
"I like that, I love you perpetually." She hangs up and presses the phone against her chest, Khaleesi rushes over to the door then pulls it open. Kali stands on the other side, her embellished blue gown sparkling under the lobby's lights. "We need to talk."
"Not right now, mom is waiting for us. Let's go." Khaleesi walks out of the restroom and into the crowd of people with her sister. Kali grabs her hand and begins to walk down the corridor, her eyes scanning the various individuals.
"Kali."
"What?"
"Are you seeing one of Mari's people?" Kali stops moving all of a sudden, she looks back at Khaleesi and squints her eyes. She leads them to one of the side walls, pushing her against the wallpaper.
"That is none of your business."
"It is my business because Mari is my business. What happened to not fucking the enemies?"
"Bitch, we're not fucking." Khaleesi purses her lips, not believing a single word coming from her mouth.
"Maybe once. It's still none of your business, I'm a grown woman whose about to move out. They won't care."
"You're a hypocrite and a lying ass bitch." Khaleesi rips her hand from her grip then crosses her arms over her chest. "You will continue to cover for me—"
"No the fuck I'm not-"
"Yes, you will. Or I swear I will tell mom about the club and how you influenced me to go and stirred me away from school. Don't, cross me again. Have you lost your mind?" Khaleesi scowls and continues to walk down the hall, Kali's eyebrows crease as she treads after her.
"Khaleesi." She ignores her, continuing her movement. "Come on, okay I know I should've told you. I'm sorry, we always forgive each-other. What's different about this time?"
"Because, Kali, you made me feel like being in love with Kamari is wrong, saying that he's an enemy and what not but you're doing the same shit. That's fucked up. Can you not see how that's messed up?!" She slightly yells at the end causing several eyes to move over to the sisters, Kali looks around and shuffles them over to the side once again.
"Yes that's fucked up, I get it. I'm sorry, Leesi. You know it's still dangerous though, right?"
"I don't want to hear that right now."
"It's the truth."
"No, the truth is that me and you are in danger. You're not excluded from this, you're still very much a Taylor like me. Bitch, get real." And with that, Khaleesi leaves Kali in a pool of her own thoughts and regrets.
10:00 PM
same day
Khaleesi looks down at Mari's text lighting up her screen, he was on the way. Her TV was already turned off, bed made-up to perfection: the silence that hugs the room was comforting to her. The rose-colored duffle bag on her bed was already packed and zipped up, she sits her phone on top of it and walks to the bathroom to the side of her. She fixes her multicolored headband then flicks a piece of lint off her cheek.
"Khaleesi!" She hears her name and her head cocks back toward the door, her heart beginning to race. Kali had already told their mother she was staying with her girl friend again, what was it now? Her phone begins to ring and she sighs, Kamari's name popping up.
"Here."
"My mom wants to talk to me, what do I do?" Kali opens her door and comes in, shutting it behind her. Khaleesi looks over at her, wondering what she wanted.
"She wants to meet your friend, the one you're staying with? He better come up with something quick cause I can't think of anything else and Nizhoni is busy."
"Did you-"
"I got it, I came prepared trust me." Khaleesi nods her head and hangs up, she tosses her phone on her bed and breathes out a frustrating breath.
"That's all he has to say is trust me? Leesi, mom thinks she's already here to pick you up. If he can't come up with a physical human being within five minutes, I don't know what to tell you."
"He got it, trust him Kali, shit." The doorbell startles both of them, they both gaze at one another: wide-eye and anxious. They move to the door at the same time, Khaleesi goes out first and races down the stairs.
"Whose that?" Alicia Taylor treads out of the kitchen with a towel in her hand, she wipes her palms and tilts her head. Khaleesi opens the door and a young brown-skinned woman stands there, a friendly smile on her face as she holds a pair of keys in her right hand.
"Mom, this is Tracy." Khaleesi thinks of a name quickly, she turns around and stands to the side letting her come into their residence. Alicia smiles and walks towards her, greeting her with a small hug.
"It's certainly nice to meet you Mrs. Taylor, it's nice helping Leesi with her paper. She's doing really good."
"Oh—that's great to hear, my baby she's so smart. It's good to finally meet you as well, wanted to make sure she wasn't running off with no boy now." Alicia laughs amusingly, the three girls all share nervous looks as they chuckle quietly. "Well, I won't keep y'all long. Enjoy studying, Khaleesi don't stay up to late, I'll see you?"
"I'll be back tomorrow night, wanna work on it some more later that day. I won't be too long, ma, I'm just ten minutes away."
"Alrighty then, I'll call to check up on you, try to make it back before dinner? Q is coming over, you know how hard it is to get all of us together."
"Yes mam." Alicia smiles gently and walks back into the kitchen, they all stare at her as she does so. Khaleesi looks over at Kali and walks over to her, she wraps her arms around her sister and hugs her tightly. "Thank you, I'm sorry about earlier. I'll be back, don't worry he has me. It's cool." Leesi pecks her cheek and pulls away, Kali nods her head agreeing silently.
"Let's go, girl, what's your real name?" Khaleesi's voice fades out as Kali shuts the door, the young lady laughs and places her hand on her shoulder: leading Leesi to Kamari's car down the block.
"Kecia, call me Key though." They had walked for several minutes before coming to his car, Khaleesi's heart begins to jump up and down in her chest. "I took my own ride here, he told me to come earlier just in case something like this popped up."
"Well, thank you so much. Hopefully, he rewarded you gracefully for this. It means a lot."
"I love black love, and yep gave me a band." Kecia laughs as she holds the stack up to her ear, she treads away: further down the street. Khaleesi smiles then bites her lip, she walks over to the car and hops in the passenger seat. A set of arms wrap around her, Kamari.
"Baby." His lips attack her cheeks viciously, her fits of laughter fill the car. Khaleesi kisses him, her hand holding onto his bicep. "Mmm." She pulls away, her plump lips smacking on his: he wanted more but she didn't allow it. Her finger resting against his soft lips, she tilts her head and reaches over to turn on the car.
"Let's go, Kamari come on I'm excited. We can do this later, I promise." She smiles and pushes his shoulder, he laughs and puts the car into gear.
"Okay, okay I got you. Let's go." His voice smooth and full of charisma, she takes her shoes off and pulls her legs in the seat. Her fingers reaching over to lock the two-door car. "Don't ask me where we going either, it's a surprise."
"You play too much."
"Nigga, I'm tryna be romantic."
"Sorry, you're doing a good job." She rubs his shoulder and he looks down at her: they laugh together and he smiles brightly. Kamari grabs her bag and puts it in the backseat, she puts her seatbelt over her body then feels a warmth take over her.
"Here. A/C be blowing, you finna get cold soon: and before I forget." A blue blanket sits in her lap, it was the one that's usually laid out on his bed. Kamari reaches to the back one last time before pulling out a black square box filled with clipped red roses. The red color vibrant as can be, she gasps and takes them in her hands. One thing Khaleesi loves is flowers—trees, plants, any type of nature.
"They're beautiful." The tips of her nails touching the delicate petals, she takes a whiff of them and hums. "And fresh, thank you, love." Khaleesi leans in and pecks his cheek, he looks over at her—disappointed. His lip up in a scowl as he stares at Khaleesi, she laughs. "What?"
"Give me a real kiss."
"We have to go, come on." Khaleesi goes back into her seat and holds onto her seatbelt, she looks over at him while pulling her blanket over her body: setting the roses on her lap.
"You cute."
They had drove for about two hours, Kamari was wide awake but Khaleesi had found herself knocked out in the passenger seat. Her face snuggled into the soft baby blue blanket, Mari's hand resting on her thigh as his other hand grips the top of the wheel. He pulls the black SRT up to the valet that was placed in front of a vast glass building.
"Baby." Khaleesi stirs a little she opens her eyes seconds later and sits up yawning. "We here." He opens the door then she throws the blanket into the backseat, Khaleesi gets out and hugs her beige coat around her body. She walks over to Kamari and leans her head on his shoulder, he takes her hand and leads them over to the steps.
Kamari hands the keys to a young man in a black suit, two other men pull up in SUVs and get out of the vehicles—coming behind the two. "This is beautiful, why are they here?" She whispers the last part then her lips land on his seconds later.
"Rented out the whole place for us, private exhibit views—didn't want anybody in our way. They're here because I want to be able to be as vulnerable with you as possible. "
"Red wine?" A man comes up to her, a small tray sitting on his palm with a glass of bubbling wine on top.
"Yes please." Khaleesi takes it in her hands then takes a sip of the alcohol. The sweet liquid buzzing on her tongue and swirling down her throat, she hums in agreement. They go into the museum, the soft studio lights surround the spacious room.
"An itinerary of the exhibits." Another gentleman coming up as he hands her a thick beige paper with black lettering, she takes it in her hands and thanks him quietly. Her eyes scanning the paper as her fingers squeeze Kamari's hand. The last exhibit on the paper named after her, with the word The before it.
"Baby, what's this?" She holds it out to him and he smiles, bending down to kiss Khaleesi on the cheek.
"You'll see." She lays her chin on his shoulder as they walk, gazing at the pieces in front of them one-by-one—every once in a while stopping to discuss. There were little white stands by every exhibit to the side, three lit ivory candles on each one. Khaleesi's heart fluttering every minute, she felt so peaceful in this moment. Nothing to worry about, not even Q. She felt safe.
"This is so nice." She says gently, her eyes staring up at the chandeliers: Kamari guiding her steps as she did so. They come to the last exhibit, before they could step foot into the room, he covers her eyes and she gasps. "Come on, Mari."
"Hold on, walk with me." He moves behind her causing her to do the same, they tread closer to the piece—the two men with them staying behind. "You ready?" He says in her ear, chills dance down her spine.
"Yes." He takes his hands off her eyes then wraps his arms around her waist, Khaleesi looks up and is met with a colorful and realistic portrait of her: various flowers from different species suspended in the air around the large canvas. Her hands instantly clasping over her mouth, tears already pricking at her eyes. "W-what?" She turns around, her face filled with bewilderment. "How did you—?"
"I know you surprised but, there's more." He takes her hand, leading her to the open space behind the portrait, a small place that's lit up only by candles.
A sea of red rose petals decorating the wood floor, a set of words spelled out in white. Khaleesi couldn't take it anymore, tears dropping from her eyes. "Will you be my girlfriend? Khaleesi Taylor?" She turns around, his eyes already pinned on her. "I know it's soon but, our bond—it's tight like honey. We've been through, everything together: you know that. I love you so much. It's okay, baby." He walks up to her, she looks down at his chest: her hands laying there.
Kamari wipes her cheeks with his thumbs, she gathers the courage to look up at him. She had finally had someone that had her, no more one-sided connections, or toxic individuals entering her life. This was it. She has someone who makes her feel safe, who appreciates her—and something like that was a thing she wants to fight for. She wraps her arms around his neck, her puffy face angling up towards his, Kamari pushes a couple pieces of hair to the side. "This means so much to me."
"Mhm, I know baby, I didn't get to show you actions back then but I'm showing them now. I need you to be with me." Khaleesi sighs, her heart thumping against her chest.
"This is going to be dangerous, Mari."
"Let me show you how far I go for you."
"Yes." They shift back and forth on their feet as they look at one another, Khaleesi had took his hands into hers—pecking him several times on the lips. "I'm yours."

HONEY. | LIL MEECH
chapter five.
"𝙄 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙨𝙞 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙨."
-Key Glock, circa 2019
4:30 AM
It took Kamari all night to convince Khaleesi to stay with him, they had argued all the way back up to the apartment. He grabbed her waist as soon as they got in the door, his hands squeezing her ass from behind. Khaleesi places her hand on his cheek, moving his face over towards her lips. "Kamari, not again."
"You so fine when you mad." She glares up at him and pushes him away, Khaleesi lays his jacket on the kitchen counter and pulls her self up on the surface. Kamari leans against the island, in front of her tense figure, his eyes boring into hers before grinning.
"I guess you're not letting me leave."
"You can try if you want to, love." One part of her was giddy and exploding with excitement, the other half was full of anxiousness. He can see that she wants to relax as much as she can but, she just couldn't. Khaleesi’s brother catching them really circulates in the back of her mind. Kamari walks up to Khaleesi, his lips pressing on her forehead. "Do you wanna leave?" His eyes now pinning a gaze upon her.
"I wanna be here with you, I'm so scared Kamari." Her head lays on his hand, she pouts up at him. "What are we going to do?" Khaleesi's voice breaks softly, she clears her throat: squeezing his wrist. She had been thinking about this ever since he told her who he was in her bedroom that morning.
"I already got a plan for us, I don't want you to worry about that." She begins to shake her head, he places his hands on the side of her neck. "No, baby I do, for real." He runs his thumb over her cheek, Khaleesi scoots closer to him. "I want you to relax, I don't need you being scared." His voice was soft but stern.
He grabs her chin, his lips pressing onto hers gently. She pecks him one more time before getting down from the counter, Kamari's hands holding her waist softly. "Where you going?" He couldn't get enough of her, she looks out at the view outside of his window. The buildings so high the tops of them hidden by dense clouds, the sky dark and decorated with stars.
"Is this your only place?" Her eyes wander to the floor, she looks back at him a closed smile on her lips. She walks into his arms, her chin resting on his chest.
"No." He speaks onto her cheek, she angles her head toward the living room once again.
"We definitely have to decorate— I mean I do."
"What you tryna say?" An amusing tone in his voice as Kamari smiles down at her, his eyebrows creased. She laughs and covers her mouth quickly, Khaleesi pulls away from him and leans on the island.
"That's not what I meant." Her body now on full display for his eyes again, she bites her bottom lip. Before he could avert them down her temple, her finger lands under his chin. "Let's make breakfast."
"Yes mam."
6:00 AM
same day.
"Honey or jelly on your biscuits?" Khaleesi holds the two condiments in her hands, a jar of honey and a bottle of grape jam. She stands across from him at the island, he points to the right.
"Honey." She hums in agreement and opens the jar seconds later, Khaleesi dips a spoon into the thick liquid then drizzles it over the steaming hot biscuits. She pulls on the sleeves of his jacket that's over her body, waiting for him to taste it.
"Tell me how you like it."
"Baby, I want you to eat too. Where ya plate at?"
"It's in the microwave, Mari, just eat."
"Bruh, we eating together." He leans back in his chair, his head tilting as he stares at Khaleesi. Kamari clenches his jaw as she throws her hands up, watching him stand up to walk over and retrieve her plate. He sits it down in front of Leesi and goes back to his seat.
"Would you like some honey or jelly, baby?" Khaleesi smiles and leans over the island to kiss him. Her lips land on Kamari's several times before returning to her spot.
"Honey."
"I agree." He says, before drizzling some on top of her biscuit. A few minutes later the food on Kamari's plate was gone, Khaleesi was halfway done: munching quietly on her diced strawberries.
"Was it good?" She laughs as she picks up her last piece of bacon, her hair still twisted up into the pink claw clip.
"Yes, we make a good duo in the kitchen." She breaks her bacon in pieces, tossing them into her mouth every once in a while.
"Yes we do." She washes her hands in the sink next to her, Khaleesi grabs the hand towel on the counter then dries her palms and fingers throughly. She walks over to him, the tip of her long nail tracing the counter. "Kamari..."
"Yes."
"I came back to let you know, I got a thing for you and I cant let go." The music in the room soothes her, Snoh's voice calming the atmosphere. Khaleesi climbs onto his lap. The ends of the jacket piling at her waist, she leans forward— kissing him slowly he bites down on her lip and Leesi moans.
"Maybe we shouldn't."
"What you mean?" His hands tight on her hips, she could feel him poking the place she wants him to be in. "Fuck all that shit right now." He bucks his hips up, causing his print to graze against her.
"Shit." Khaleesi moves her body with his, her breathing getting heavier by the second. "Kamari, baby, we can't."
"Why?" He pulls her in tight, his hand moving to the top of his sweats. "I said, why." His eyebrow arching as he sits up swiftly, Kamari’s stare on her face is intense.
"Because, it's not good." His fingers travel up her chest, her neck now in his hand—he kisses her lips and she gasps.
"This not good, baby?" Pulling the front of his sweats down, Khaleesi watches as he takes himself out—his member suddenly popping up against his lower stomach. His tip stroking her clit slowly, with each brush she became wetter. Her hand gripping his shoulder as her mouth is parted.
"N-no." Kamari enters her and she gasps once again, his moans grace her ears.
"Pussy so good, fuck." He brings her down onto him at a steady pace, his teeth sinking into his bottom lip. "This don't feel right?" He says, slightly speeding up, the slapping of her ass hitting his thighs. Kamari’s eyebrows creased as he grunts and pulls her closer, a high-pitched moan slipping from Khaleesi’s mouth as she grips the skin around his neck.
"Yes, yes, please."
"Good girl."
"Kamari, fuck me." She begs, Khaleesi's whimpers of satisfaction hitting his lips. Her body trembling under his touch, his lips now parted as he places one of his hands on her lower stomach.
"Fuck." A pleased moan slipping from his mouth, his husky voice echoes throughout the kitchen: their cheeks touching as they reach their high together. The air around them warm and comforting, his fingers slipping between her thighs as Kamari moves them smoothly in a circular motion over her clit.
She gasps, surprisingly, her eyebrows creasing from the added pleasure. "Mmm, you better cum for me, right now." Kamari brings her down on him sloppily, his eyes admiring his dick disappearing inside of Khaleesi repeatedly.
It happened so fast for them, his arms closing around her waist as he began bucking his hips up: thrusting into her shamelessly. Their moans in harmony as Khaleesi cums, the overwhelming feeling squirming throughout her body. "Oh my—fuck!" She feels him lift her up in his arms swiftly then pulling himself out and ejaculating on her behind.
Khaleesi collapses on his moist skin, her head resting against his shoulder. Their heavy breathing, the only audible noises in the apartment. Her mind kept going back to what they just did, it was replaying over and over. "I wanna take you on a date." She laughs softly, her voice raspy from the previous vocalizing she did.
"On what side of town?" She arches one of her eyebrows, sitting up to meet his stare.
"We going out of town, tell your parents you're staying with a friend: I'll have somebody from my team cover you." He already had it planned out, Kamari knows Khaleesi was adamant about her brother not finding out about them. Although, Q had to find out one day but one thing he knew—that time was not now.
A booming knock sounds on the door, this causes Khaleesi to jump down from the seat quickly. "Who the fuck—" It continues, he gets up swiftly: pulling his boxers up. Her body was stiff as a rock, there were already a pile of tears meeting at the bottom of her eyelids. Her hands clasped together as her stare wouldn't leave the door, she feels his hands touch her shoulders. "Yo, Leesi."
Her eyes switch over to him, her full attention on Kamari now: a gun resting in his hand. When did he get that? She thinks distractingly, her mind quickly coming back to reality. And just like that, Khaleesi was being introduced to Kamari's world once again: but years later. His whole demeanor changing drastically before her eyes, he was alert and ready.
"Go to the room, lock the door. There's a piece under the nightstand, don't fucking come out unless I get you. Go." She had never ran so fast, Khaleesi races down the hall her eyes glancing back at him for a split second.
She bursts through the door, shutting it behind her speedily. Tears already streaming down her face, she hears yelling on the other side: then quick shuffling. Her shaky fingers locking it, she moves away—the back of her legs hitting the bed. She hasn't dealt with this in ages, it was all flooding back to her mind: the situations her and Kali had to deal with when it came to Kamari and Q.
"Khaleesi!" She hears Kamari's deep cry, her mind becoming sharp once again. She takes a deep breath, slowing down the thoughts in her head.
"Leesi, Mari needs your help." She tells herself quietly, Khaleesi grabs the gun under the nightstand. She rips it off of the adhesive, holding it in front of her, she cocks it back then stands up. Her once trembling legs, no more. Khaleesi opens the door silently, she peeks out: the hallway empty but splats of blood on the wall. She walks out, her side pressing on the wall as she treads toward the kitchen: both hands on the gun as she points it up, her eyes focused.
She comes to the end of the corridor, the front door wide open: her breathing heavy as pieces of her hair fall on her face. Khaleesi's posture remained straight, Kamari comes beside her. She gasps, his hands clasping onto the gun quickly—Khaleesi relaxes, a breath of air pushing out her lips. "Baby, it's okay." Her head falls onto his chest, his hands resting on the sides of her neck. "We gotta problem."
"What happened?" She looks at him, his face full of concern.
"Somebody shot one of my brothers, I don't know who but when I find out that nigga dead." His voice full of bass and strident.
"We'll figure it out—"
"I don't want you around this again, for real, I'mma take you home in a little bit. Okay?" Khaleesi didn't want to leave, she wants to stay with him: she doesn't want anything bad happening. She stares at him blankly before nodding her head. He walks down the hall, Khaleesi walks over to the entrance: she shuts the door then locks it. She treads over to the living room seeing a young man on the couch, beads of sweat on his forehead as he breathes deeply.
As she walks closer his head turns towards her, a friendly smile coming on his lips. "You're Khaleesi? Kamari's girl, nice to meet you." She laughs and takes a seat beside him, she reaches for the black gloves already on the coffee table. A blood stain plastered on the side of his white t-shirt.
"Surprised you know who I am."
"Hell ya, that nigga talk about you all the time." Kamari comes in with the items Leesi asked for, he sits them on the table and hands a towel to her.
"Can you try and lift up for me? So I can put the towel under, just for a second." He groans as he uses all of his strength to sit up off the couch, Khaleesi hurriedly puts the towel down then lays her hand on his shoulder. "Okay, you can lay back. Slowly." His teeth gritting together as he pushes his head back on the couch, his eyes squeezing shut.
"I'mma let y'all do this, I gotta make some calls." Kamari scratches the back of his neck, he was nervous and she could see it all over his body.
"It's okay, baby, he's going to be fine." Khaleesi squeezes some hand sanitizer on the palm of her hand, she rubs it in then looks up at him. Kamari nods his head then walks toward the door, she watches him: her eyebrows slightly creasing.
"That nigga strong as hell, for real." Khaleesi's eyes switch to his friends, she hums in agreement. "I remember when he first told me about you." He hisses when she lifts up his shirt, Khaleesi takes a deep breath at the gun wound on his lower right side. A gold on one of his teeth shining in her peripheral vision, she gets what she needs off the table and begins.
"You took the bullet out?"
"Yea, gave it to Kamari."
"Damn." She cringed slightly, that had to hurt. "What he say about me?"
"I honestly ain't believe him when he said he had a shorty back at his second home but— he mentioned, he wished he wouldn't have left and that hopefully y'all would meet again under better circumstances. He waited for you, on some real shit."
"Really now?"
"Yea, no serious relationships—used to make fun of him about it." She cleans his wound as she listens attentively, soaking in all of the information coming from his mouth. "He loves you." She stops what she's doing and looks up at him, his eyes already on Khaleesi's. He nods and arches his eyebrows up, wrinkles forming in his forehead.

HONEY. | LIL MEECH
chapter four.
"𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙢𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙖 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙣."
- Gallant, circa 2019
1:20 AM
Khaleesi holds the straps of her backpack as she kicks the front door closed behind her. She had gotten Kamari to drop her off blocks away, it took minutes of convincing to prevent him from doing it in front of her house instead. The walk was nice, anyways. She falls back against the towering door, her front teeth biting down on her bottom lip.
She couldn't wait to get home to feel all the emotions she obstructed in front of him. Her underwear, completely drenched. The cold draft swooshing around the house hits her naked legs. Khaleesi had changed in his car, putting on a pair of gym shorts in his backseat and the jacket covering her encrusted bra. She had clothes of her own but, he insisted, he wanted her to carry him around with her everywhere she went.
Her hands run up her arms, she stares straight back into the pit of blackness that was the corridor it leads to the spacious kitchen. A body emerges causing her to jump, her mother was startled as well. "Leesi Taylor! What are you doing sneaking around this house?" Her voice barely above a whisper but still yelling. "Where are you coming from?" Alicia Taylor's eyes had widened, waiting for her to reply.
"She went to get her backpack, what took you so long?" Kali nudges her head towards the stairs, her sister was back early and she hope she had an excuse.
"I wanted Kali to help me do my college essay, ma. It's due at the end of summer and I'm really trying to get it done. I know how much this is important to you."
"Okay, don't keep your sister up too late Kali. Remember, Leesi you have that college ball later this evening." Alicia arches her plucked eyebrow at the both of them, she waves her hand and heads upstairs with a mug of hot coffee. As she reaches the top of the stairs, her back turned: Kali throws her arms in the air. Khaleesi and her sister began to argue silently, they stop immediately when their mother turns around completely. "By the way, Q is back. He traveled down here last night, make sure you text him he's out and about."
She finally makes her way to the grand bedroom at the end of the hall where their father slept. The double doors closing behind her as Khaleesi makes her way upstairs, she stops where Kali is and sighs. "That was a close one, girl, you timed it wrong. It's always 3, 3 in the fucking morning." Her big sister has a look of annoyance on her face, Leesi could understand why she was mad.
Her shift was usually over at 3 and that's when everyone in the house was knocked out. No sleep walkers, no wanderers, just dead silence. "Kali, please. She didn't even notice, mom doesn't look deep into shit like that." Her sisters eyebrows crease together, she couldn't understand why Khaleesi was calm all of sudden. As if she didn't care if they got caught.
"Fuck that, what clothes are you wearing?" Kali grabs her sisters wrist and pulls her toward her room, she shuts the door behind them and stands at the entrance: her hands planted on her hips. "Jesus Christ, Khaleesi, if mom took another step toward you she could've easily smelled that niggas cologne!"
"What the fuck are you talking about?!" Their voices were soft but filled with frustration, Khaleesi wants everyone in her household to leave her alone, why was everyone always trying to control her? Kali leans forward and tugs on Kamari's jacket.
"This, did you both-"
"No." Khaleesi looks over to the side, her eyes finding a random spot to gaze at. "We just kissed." Kali steps back and smiles, she begins to laugh and points to Khaleesi: her finger shaking up and down. "I don't have time for this, I'm tired." She squeezes the straps of the backpack and heads toward the door.
"Leesi-"
"You're the one who wanted me to talk to him, why is this such a big deal?! You've had guys in the past and Q has been fine with it. Me and you both!" Khaleesi had turned around, her eyes watery: tears threatening to fly down her cheeks. Kali notices how visibly upset she is, the feeling in her chest aching. She wipes her sisters tears away with her thumbs, Khaleesi grabs her wrists, holding her hands there.
"Khaleesi, he's an enemy. That's the difference. You know how Q is."
"Kali, he's not a fucking enemy and you know that! He was y'all's friend, best friend at that! Be for real. We grew up with him and his family."
"You don't even know who he is, we don't know who Kamari is anymore! Leesi, he's dangerous like Q. He's in his own fucking lane, honestly. What if he kills you? What if he's playing you, Leesi?! He could be trying to get back at Q for all we know! I only let you talk to him because we were having fun that night, it was harmless fun. It was supposed to be harmless but you're playing a dangerous game. We just got dealt a bad hand, how was I supposed to know who he was?"
She never thought about it that way, Khaleesi's lips were slightly apart as she breathes heavily. Did he set-up this whole thing? Her eyes held Kali's gaze, she had a look of melancholy on her face. "That's why I didn't wanna make it look like that way because I know you still like him, Khaleesi. But you, you need to dead this shit with him before he fucking kills you."
Khaleesi nibbles on the tip of her left hand's fingers, her eyes squeeze shut and tears dance down her cheeks. "He would never-"
"He would, look at how quick he turned on Q." She breathes out a deep breath, her eyes closing as she buries her face in her hands.
11:30 PM
next day.
A full moon was out tonight, the sky was dotted with thousands of stars. Khaleesi and Kali walk shoulder to shoulder down the cities sidewalk, the bus stop wasn't too much further. The sound of laughter and loud chatter is heard behind them, multiple people standing in line to get in the Diamond. Kali throws a jolly rancher at Leesi and she catches it quickly. She twists open the wrapper and pops the green apple candy in her mouth.
"I hate that flavor."
"What? It's the best one."
"Nah, grape is."
They feel the ground beneath their feet begin to vibrate, Kali was the first to turn around. "Khaleesi." Leesi turns around and watches as Kamari's charger drives up beside them. The sleek black surface of the vehicle shimmers underneath the yellow street lights.
"Fuck." Khaleesi grabs her sisters hand then glances back at her.
"Can a nigga give his lady a ride?" He stops the car and hangs his arm out of the window, his front teeth biting on his bottom lip. "You look good." Khaleesi feels her legs tingle well, it started at her feet then snuck it's way up. The way they were looking at each other was as if they were communicating through eye contact. "Baby, just get in."
"Why you want my sister to go with you so bad? Come on Khaleesi, let's get the fuck out of here." Kali begins to pull her along, Kamari could see she didn't want to go: the look on her face said it all.
"Yo, what the fuck you say?" He parks the car and gets out of the vehicle, the sound of the door slamming startles Khaleesi. "Khaleesi! I know you hear me talking." He grabs her waist and Kali pulls a pocket knife out her bra.
"Kali, chill!"
"Well tell him to get his hand off you! Now."
"Mari, just go." Khaleesi grabs his hand and kisses the back of it. "I gotta leave."
"What you mean you gotta go?" His voice cracking, just a little, Khaleesi glances over at Kali.
"I'm not leaving you alone with him-"
"Listen, can you please just give me some time to talk to my girl?"
"Nigga-"
"Please." Kali crosses her arms over her chest and eyes Khaleesi for several seconds before they switch over to Kamari. She continues to walk straight ahead and up the sidewalk, giving the two their privacy. His body turns to Khaleesi now, he steps closer to her.
"I'm sorry."
"Do you even agree with what your saying?"
"I can't trust you, Mari! You switched on Q whose to say you won't do that to me?!"
"The fuck are you talking about?" Khaleesi turns away from him and crosses her arms over her chest. She reaches down to the edge of her black shorts, tugging at the sides of them. "I wouldn't hurt you in any way, I don't know who put that shit in your head but I don't wanna kill you. Me and Q's situation is nothing like ours."
"Walk away."
"No." His figure towering over hers as he gazes down at Khaleesi.
"Kamari, trust me this is not what you want."
"How the hell you know what I want?" Khaleesi tilts her head then rolls her eyes out of annoyance, why was he being so persistent? Why couldn’t he just let her go. She turns around—beginning to make her way up the sidewalk. “I fucking love you, Khaleesi.”
Her steps gradually stop, Leesi turns around on her heels and treads up to him: she tangles herself into his arms. His hands instantly wrapping around her waist. "You can't just leave me like that."
She pecks his lips, her hand resting on the back of his neck. Leesi goes in for another kiss, he beats her to it. His tongue slipping into her mouth, she moans quietly on his lips: her hands holding him back.
"Man, fucking move." His fingers wrap around her neck, she gasps as he presses her against the wall. Their lips move smoothly over one another, perfect match: perfect fit. The pressure around her neck made her squeeze his shirt harder.
"Please." She lays her head on his shoulder then pulls away swiftly.
"Come with me."
"I can't leave, Kali."
Kali runs up to the both of them and slaps her hand against Khaleesi's shoulder. "I have to go back to the club, Leesi, come on." Kamari grabs her hand and pulls her in, he eyes her big sister.
"We finna see you later." He stands in front of her, her fingers intertwining with his.
"Khaleesi, let's go. I don't have all night and Q is looking for us. I'm gonna get one of the girls to take us home so we don't have to deal with this stupid motherfucka."
"What's your problem, Kali?" Kamari scowls at her, his eyebrow arching up towards the sky.
"What?!"
"I said, what the fuck is your problem Kali?" Kamari walks closer to her, he has a tan hoodie on and a silver cuban chain laying across his neck. His voice, deep and full of irritation. "We finna dead this shit right now."
"You're gonna be Q's problem soon if you don't stay away from my sister, Kamari."
"Man, fuck your traitor ass brother!"
Kamari has nothing but anger congested in his voice, Kali throws up her middle finger carelessly as she begins to walk toward the Diamond. "Yea, fuck you too and stop telling my girl stupid shit about me, bruh."
"The shit that I tell her has some truth to it." Kali stops on the sidewalk, she stomps her way up to him and pushes her finger into his chest. "You better take of my care of my sister or I swear-"
"She with me so she alright, I got her." She stares at him for what seem like forever, his eyes held nothing but truth. Kali looks past Kamari and to Khaleesi, she nods her head and turns around walking back to the club.
Kamari grabs Khaleesi's hand, he pulls her toward him once again. "Where we going?" She leans against the hood and gently smiles, he leans down and kisses her cheek.
"My place." He opens the passenger door and watches as she gets in. Khaleesi admires the all black interior, the AC was blasting and it felt amazing on her moist skin. She didn't notice Kamari getting in the charger and putting the car in drive. Khaleesi lays back against the seat, her head turned toward the window. Her breast were glistening from little droplets of sweat, the white tank top she has on slightly wet. "You good?"
She turns her attention back to Kamari, her hand wanders over his jawline: it was defined and rough from his beard. "I'm good, Mari."
"I just wanna make sure you're comfortable."
"What's your place like?" He gently laughs and slaps his hand down on her thigh then squeezes tightly.
"I don't know how to explain it."
They arrive to a dimly lit apartment complex, he parks on the side of the street. They both get out of the car simultaneously, Kamari rushes to Khaleesi's side and pulls her in. "You was suppose to let me open the door for you."
"It's okay, I had it."
"Next time let me do it." He leads her through the side of the building, they come to a tall elevator that reaches to the ceiling. Kamari presses the top button and looks down at Khaleesi. "I like these shorts."
"Of course you do." The elevator dings and they both watch as the doors slide open. They walk on and Khaleesi falls back against Kamari. He intertwines their fingers then wraps his arms around her neck from behind. She could feel his print pressing up against her ass, it was rock hard and certainly big. "I've never been to this part of the city." He hums lowly in her ear for a quick second then looks up at the reflecting doors.
"Don't ever come over here without me."
"Okay."
"Khaleesi." She was looking down at the elevator's tile floor, her name sounded so good coming from his mouth. The doors open and he pulls her along with him, she grabs ahold of his arm and follows Kamari down a spacious hallway: it was fancy-looking. This is a really nice complex. Khaleesi thinks as they come to a door, he opens it all the way and let's her go in first.
The cold air in the room embraces her body, she looks straight ahead at the vast window on the wall. A beautiful sunset mixed with purples and pink was outside, blue lights lined the ceiling and floor. It was huge. He had a wall of records standing proudly in the corner, she turns around and watches Kamari take his jacket off. The muscles on his arms fill out the white t-shirt underneath. "You cold?"
He tosses the jacket over to her and she catches it quickly, Khaleesi puts it over head and pushes her arms through the sleeves. She pulls down her shorts and picks them up off the floor, the jacket falls right below her butt. "You still fuck with anime?" He pulls a wood from behind his ear and places it between his mouth.
"Hell yea." She walks over to the living room and sits down on the vermillion couch. Khaleesi glances over, watching as he inhales a cloud of smoke through his lips. "Why'd you call me your girl?" He walks over and sits down right next to her, he groans and lays his head back.
"Don't be surprised, I told you I wanted to start over." He sits his hand on her thigh, she admires the fully gold ring on his middle finger. It was beautiful. Khaleesi loves gold jewelry. He takes another hit of his wood then passes it to Khaleesi: she inhales several times, taking in the smoke.
"It's not too late to admit you love me." Kali Uchis' angelic voice flows in the background.
"But everything with Q..."
"I don't want you to worry about that, not tonight." Khaleesi falls onto his shoulder laying her left leg across his thighs.
"Boy, turn on this anime." He grabs the remote on the armrest and turns on the flat screen TV. He switches the station and Hunterxhunter pops up, the bright colors buzzing through Khaleesi's eyes. "My favorite is Killua."
"He cold, for real." She could feel him poking against her leg, he sits up to put the wood down in an ashtray in front of them. Khaleesi holds on to his shoulder, her body following his, Kamari's hand squeezes her thigh. She thinks the weed is getting to her, her body was buzzing all over: her head feeling light.
He sits back and she climbs on top of him, swinging her leg over his. "Kamari."
"Yes baby." He grabs her thighs pulling her close to him, he runs his hand up her body and grabs her breast in his hand: his thumb rubbing over her already hard nipple.
Khaleesi moans onto his lips, she kisses him: her hands holding his neck. "Don't hold back." He throws her down on the couch beside him, she zips down the jacket he gave her and lifts up her tank top. He bends down, now taking her nipple into his mouth: she watches as he pulls his pants down. Khaleesi helps him, pushing the material down with her fingers.
Kamari grabs her legs, placing them on his shoulders. Khaleesi's core throbs, waiting for him to enter her. She feels him thrust inside and gasps against his lips. "Oh my god, fuck." She moans, her words breathless. She wanted to put her legs down so bad, he was deep inside her.
"You better not move your fucking legs."
"Please, please, please, please."
"Keep your legs open, just like that. Mhm... give me that pussy." She felt like she was going to explode after hearing him talk to her this way. Her hands run down his arms as he strokes into her slowly, Khaleesi's eyes roll to the back of head. She presses her hands on his lower stomach, he grunts and places his forehead on hers. "You tryna push me away?" He grips her wrists in his hands and begins to speed his hips up slowly, they move smoothly like waves in the ocean.
"Oh fuck!" She feels his teeth bite on the side of her neck, his tongue swirling against the sensitive spot. "Kamari..." He pulls out, sitting on the edge of the couch: taking Khaleesi with him. She kisses his lips, her hands going down his chest and tugging at his shirt. He lifts it over his head, she takes it in her hands and tosses it. Khaleesi lifts up letting him enter her once again, he stares her in the eyes watching as she moans. "Oh baby, fuck me."
"Don't say that now." His hands placed on her ass, guiding her up and down his dick. He presses a kiss against her lips, she smiles then gasps when he begins to slam her down harder on him. The sound of her wet core echoing around the room, she moans grabbing his arm. She lets him take control of her body, his hands gripping her hips for dear life. "It's okay, baby, I got you. You better take all this dick, you hear me?"
"Kamari, oh god." She exhales against his cheek, grabbing ahold of his exposed arm. She wasn't suppose to be with him and not suppose to be enjoying the feeling of him inside her but, Khaleesi loves every second.
"I could stay inside this pussy for hours." He moans, his eyebrows creasing. His words were pushing her over the edge, he knew exactly what he was doing. She grabs ahold of his face, her fingers gripping his neck as he leaves soft kisses against her skin: Khaleesi falls apart in his arms. Her thighs weak from pleasure as her back arches, his tongue flickers against her nipple before taking it into his mouth once again.
Leesi couldn't take anymore as she feels a knot of pleasure release in her stomach, Kamari watches lustfully as she cums on him. She cries, rolling her hips against his. "Damn, you fuck the shit out me, baby." He talks lowly, pressing his lips against hers.
"Love between two human beings..." Kali's voice continues to harmonize enchantingly through the speaker. Smoke had settled in the air around them, floating like clouds in the sky. The room filled with sounds of voices on the TV and the lovers lips locking together. They soon moved to the bedroom at first, attempting to go to sleep.
He held her all night, his fingers pulling on the ends of her hair gently as they finished the rest of Hunterxhunter. "Shit, what time is it Mari?"
"I told you I want you to spend a night." He vocalizes as she scoots her way off the bed. "Baby." He whines, watching as she pulls her shorts up her behind.
"I can't, I have a ball today. Makeup and hair comes later in the morning, I gotta be there."
"And baby I will get you back in time, just chill right now."
"Mari, this is not a fucking game." He sits up, putting down the wood that was in his hand.
"The fuck you getting tight for?"
"Because this shit is real and you're treating it like it's not. Q is back in the city and if I'm not home tomorrow my ass is done." She begins to walk toward the door, pulling her hair up in a pink claw clip in the process. She hears Kamari getting off the bed and rolls her eyes.
"Where the fuck you going?" He grabs her wrist and jerks her towards him. She clashes into his chest, Khaleesi glares up at Kamari then forces him off her. She shoves his body away from her and grips the purses strap.
"Get off of me." He arches his eyebrow and takes a step back from her. "Kamari, I'm leaving."
"You wanna leave, leave then. Let me take you home."
"No, I'll catch the bus." She continues to walk towards the door, her hand pushing it open.
"Khaleesi, you can't be walking out here alone." Leesi looks back at him and treads heavily down the corridor. "Bruh, get yo stubborn ass back here." He runs in his room throwing on a shirt and a pair of basketball shorts over his boxers. The sound of the front door opening annoys him, Kamari races down the hall to catch up with Khaleesi.
