The walk

With the hectic lifestyle we have, it’s undeniable that after some time, I feel like I’ve drifted. Drifted from God. Drifted from my walk, my closeness with God.

I feel like I haven’t felt Him for awhile. My spirit man runs dry and the need to get thro each day seemed to surpass my need to feel His presence.

Istana Exhibit at Vivo City

What I love most about public exhibitions, is that it’s free.

We visited the National Library at Vivo City. It has one of the most kid- friendly library in Singapore.

The Istana exhibition gave an overview of the life in the Istana. The NParks portion is pretty cool.

Kids have the chance to smell and feel herbs, plants and other fruits that are grown in the Istana.

Review : Generator Hostel

Booked our accommodation pretty late and we missed out on affordable hotels. We decided to take a risk and try living in a hostel. After all, it’s only for two nights and we just needed a place to crash.

With the two kids in tow, it’s relatively challenging to find a place that’s decent, clean and convenient.

Z had a pretty good time just running around.

The Star of the show has to be this rocking animal. It’s so big, Z had to rock really hard to make it move.

3 kitchen appliances for the busy Mom

I’m not a big fan of cooking but since the boys (Husband included) came into my life, I needed to cook for them.

There’s a few criteria that I look at before any kitchen purchase:

Does it have an automated on/ off button?

Will it take up a lot of space on my kitchen counter top?

How Luke keeps us up..

Luke is not a big fan of naps. He’ll wear himself out to the last minute and scream for boobs when he’s exhausted. The worst part about his no-nap time is how much he loves to keep us awake. Here are some ways:

Kindy

There’s a certain level of seriousness now that Z entered Kindergarten One.

It’s no longer just a childcare. Curriculum, homework and projects are part of Z’s life. It’s like he entered into a different phase. Coupled with extra commitments at home.
