Letting it all go now.

If I needed an outlet, this would be it. Feeling a little low, unsure of what to behold.
The frustration within me and having to vent at somebody or something hard. But yet at the same time, I need to move on. Move out. Look beyond.
There is more to life than this!

In His time
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11 NKJV
Feeling a little bit low today, when I realised that my promotion is probably gone. What a cruel play. To give someone hope, then disappear and pretend that nothing happened.
When one moment you…

The walk
With the hectic lifestyle we have, it’s undeniable that after some time, I feel like I’ve drifted. Drifted from God. Drifted from my walk, my closeness with God.
I feel like I haven’t felt Him for awhile. My spirit man runs dry and the need to get thro each day seemed to surpass my need to feel His presence.
I begin to see my day to day frustrations as challenges. My mind start to tweak…

Tired
I haven’t felt this way for a Long time. To be honest, I want to break away, break out of this.
Should I move on? Start fresh?

Istana Exhibit at Vivo City
What I love most about public exhibitions, is that it’s free.
We visited the National Library at Vivo City. It has one of the most kid- friendly library in Singapore.
The Istana exhibition gave an overview of the life in the Istana. The NParks portion is pretty cool.
Kids have the chance to smell and feel herbs, plants and other fruits that are grown in the Istana.
I love reading about the…

Review : Generator Hostel
Booked our accommodation pretty late and we missed out on affordable hotels. We decided to take a risk and try living in a hostel. After all, it’s only for two nights and we just needed a place to crash.
With the two kids in tow, it’s relatively challenging to find a place that’s decent, clean and convenient.
Here the criteria when we look for accommodation on this trip:
Convenient: it should be…

Playground Fun - Blk 124B Bukit Merah View
Playground Fun – Blk 124B Bukit Merah View
This playground has more slides than the usual and definitely suitable for kids age 2 to 5.
Z had a pretty good time just running around.
The Star of the show has to be this rocking animal. It’s so big, Z had to rock really hard to make it move.

Read
Are we lazy to read these days? Gone are the days of ploughing through books. These days, content comes in so many different form. TS: LR, blurbs and video clips.
As I try to work hard in polishing up my delivery, I pray that my determination will pull through.

Playground Fun - Blk 124A Bukit Merah View
Playground Fun – Blk 124A Bukit Merah View
With the number of commitments we have on the weekends, it’s become pretty difficult for us to steal some playground time.
So we’re quite excited to check out different playgrounds around the hood.
Located just opposite Bukit Merah View Market and Hawker Centre, this playground is a quick ‘get your kid some exercise’ before you head off to run the regular errands.
Zion, at 4ish 5, finds this…

3 kitchen appliances for the busy Mom
I’m not a big fan of cooking but since the boys (Husband included) came into my life, I needed to cook for them.
There’s a few criteria that I look at before any kitchen purchase:
Does it have an automated on/ off button?
Will it take up a lot of space on my kitchen counter top?
Can it cook more than 1 item at a time?
The reasons are simple:
Baby cries/ screams etc. And it’s dangerous to leave an…

How Luke keeps us up..
Luke is not a big fan of naps. He’ll wear himself out to the last minute and scream for boobs when he’s exhausted. The worst part about his no-nap time is how much he loves to keep us awake. Here are some ways:
Now that he’s mobile, he crawls towards us and pulls our hair. Yup. My Son has a hair fetish. He grabs a whole bunch and pulls it. Leaving you screaming or bald.
He gorges your face with…

Kindy
There’s a certain level of seriousness now that Z entered Kindergarten One.
It’s no longer just a childcare. Curriculum, homework and projects are part of Z’s life. It’s like he entered into a different phase. Coupled with extra commitments at home.
It is also now that I realised how much he’s grown into a fine young boy. I can’t call him babyanymore. He’s fully potty trained and he has no…
