Today I said goodbye to the love of my life who is beginning his journey of deployment. I am so proud of everything he does. Knowing that I have such an honorable man in my life is like no other feeling. He will be on my mind every minute of this deployment. Baby I will miss you so much. You're my better half and no distance is going to change that. I will be by your side every second of this deployment. I love you so much you are my world.

Brandon and I had been apart for ten months before this photo was taken. We spent two days together, and we will not be together for another eight months. Ever since that September day our senior year of high school, however, I knew. Time apart and the distance between us didn’t matter. Military life is hard, and sad, and it’ll test you. It’s not at all what people make it out to be. But when I’m with him, or as I replay memories of our times together in my head, or when I hear his voice over the phone, it’s like I can feel him…and that wave of sadness that I’ve been drowning in during our time apart, it disappears. I can’t explain it. He’s like my breath of fresh air. And in the end, he saves me. I love my sailor!

My wonderful amazing Airman. I have never been treated with so much love and respect as I do from this guy. It may have taken us a whike to get to this point but it is so worth it. I know I can look to you to make me smile at any time of the day. We are coming up on a deployment and words cant describe the amount of emotions I am feelimg going through all of this, the only thing I am one hundred percent about is that when you get home I will be right here waiting for you. I love you baby, no deployment will change anything about that.
