Dear little boat,
Thank you for all the memories you remind me of. Your most important purpose was to go with the flow on the sandstone waves. Your deep-sea dory has found a harbor. At anchor, we wrote my dreams together. As the sun shone bright over the intense blue ocean, you smoothly moved over the mild wave to finish your day on the golden sand.
How many nights have I spent with my first love? How many nights have I spend kissing his lips and feeling your warmth around us?
And how many days I have spent feeling the sun burning my face. How many days I have spent daydreaming of that boy?
Seeing you ten years later, brought back those innocent days where I was a happy child.
Thank you my little boat for all the memories that you remind me of.
Yours,
Lea

Today’s cover of French Magazine "Liberation". About “Notre Dame” what a clever caption.
NOTRE DRAME = OUR DRAMA
You are called the elder sister of the church, and yesterday you fought hell
You, facing Jerusalem with your two towers you did not say your last word
Your rosettes have blazed leaving this bright orange to pierce the stained glass windows
Your nightmare is over, and today the sun is healing your pain
You are more than a building burning, it is our history
You are certainly injured, yet you are filled with prayers, writings, and love from all religions and humans

Our dear Lady,
Today the flames took you by surprise. Pieces of your being burned.
You were juggling fire. Flames starved in the dark; the night have arrived but the sky was illuminated by your murderer.
Never beaten or tired, doesn’t dime with the time. You managed to keep your magnificent as the flames were hurting you.
Pieces of our heart fell apart with you. You were the heart of Paris, the beautiful Lady, a symbol of history and today we are crying in your name.
Your survived two World Wars, you survived the Revolution, you survived through wind, rain, thunder and time. You never lose your beauty and greatest. Thousand of millions of people came all over the world to admire you, to pray with you and to discover you.
Despite the evil that consumed you, in the circle of your life, you protected the one who tried to save you.
The worst was avoided thanks to the courage of the soldier of fire even if the battle is not fully won.
We will rebuild you together, united in the love of history that you represent.

How many ordinary people have a chance actually go to a prison to see inmates’ life? Danny Lyon’s photography project “Conversations with the Dead” gives us the adventure.
This piece is the combination of art and journalism. It is so artistic that I thought this setting was faked by the photographer when I saw it for the first time. Women’s old photos, a beautiful large flowers, cold cell bars, and the young man behind it with desperate and blue in eyes… It is a great work of new journalism. Danny Lyon spent 14 months in 1967-1968 photographing inmates, building up telling and detail-packed portraits of the lives of those inmates inside the prison.
After seeing this project, I deeply feel that those inmates were normal people, with the softest emotions inside their heart as well.

Here is the version without the show lights. I feel that the photo was more powerful in real life. Great use of lights and composition.

AIPAD SHOW,
I am very sad because the lighting of the show was not giving an advantage to this breathtaking photo.
The lighting, the composition, the first look and then the second closer. Everything makes me wondering how was it made?

AIPAD SHOW,
The Double Take.
At first, I thought it was just three people exhausted from whatever reason. I was very concerned about the first guy having a nap, he seems very peaceful. Then I watched the girl, I didn't understand why she was looking at us this way, and the hair! Finally, the camera guy in the back hits me. Is it the shooting of an "adult movie"? The position of the people on the floor suggests this.

BERLIN KISS,
This picture has been taken when the wall of Berlin was destroyed. This couple was separated. One living in the East, the other in the Ouest.
The beauty of this photo is the moment. It was the first kiss they had when they finally meet. How powerful love can be.
This picture cost 20.000 dollars. I am still too poor for a "forbidden" love in my living room.
