The founder of my organization, Paul Vandeventer, went through the Coro program some 30 years ago. He gave me this book, The Public and Its Problems by John Dewey, before starting the program. According to Paul, this book used to be required reading for all Coro participants. The political philosophy here were some of the guiding principles for developing the training methodology of Coro fellows.
