Love (part 1)
M: “36th hadith, sister.”
S: “Err.. friendship on the name of Allah?”
M: *no answer, but keeps smiling*
After a five-second long handshake, Maryam went out of the car and said goodbye to her friend, Sarah, still fazed with what Maryam had said earlier. Sarah waved her back, and started driving back home. It did not occur to Sarah’s mind to immediately Google what 36th hadith (one of Imam an Nawawi’s 40 hadith) is, until a week later while she was trying to start her dusty old blog writing again.
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
Whoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allah will remove from him one of the griefs of the Day of Resurrection. And whoever alleviates the need of a needy person, Allah will alleviate his needs in this world and the Hereafter. Whoever shields [or hides the misdeeds of] a Muslim, Allah will shield him in this world and the Hereafter. And Allah will aid His slave so long as he aids his brother. And whoever follows a path to seek knowledge therein, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise. No people gather together in one of the Houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves, except that sakeenah (tranquility) descends upon them, and mercy envelops them, and the angels surround them, and Allah mentions them amongst those who are with Him. And whoever is slowed down by his actions, will not be hastened forward by his lineage.
[Muslim]
Feeling as if someone just received a love letter from a long lost lover, Sarah instantly took her smart phone and sent Maryam a text message, thanking her for the short and beautiful tazkeerah, thanking Allah for sending Maryam into her life.
Since then, Sarah made another New Year resolution; to be helpful to others without expecting anything in return, but His love and mercy.

WBG
Women’s Boat to Gaza.
(Do google it for further information, as I'm just gonna share my personal thoughts along the way).
When I first heard of WBG and their recent “apprehension” by the Israelis, I knew they were going to be stopped. I knew they were going to be illegally apprehended. And it did happen. It’s a sad moment for me and for everyone supporting Gaza.
Little did we know that WBG is not just any other boat sailing story.
Realise that the boat consists of 13 women? No men, just 13 humble, strong-willed women, coming to Gaza in peace, trying to give aid the people of Palestine. And they were apprehended for what? Bringing weapons to aid so-called Palestinian terrorists? Did they really bring one? Only idiots would think that way.
What I’m trying to say is, this clearly shows us who the real terrorists are. Who actually terrorises who. And it also shows us the war is still ongoing.
Let us not forget to pray for our brothers and sisters in Gaza and around the world. May Allah keep them safe and may Allah forgive us for not being able to do anything except for hopes, giving awareness and prayers. Ameen!

His mercy
No matter how many times you fall No matter how many times you've been deceived No matter how many times you've been hurt No matter how much you have sinned Know that He is there to pick you up Know that He is there for you when no one is Know that He is there to mend your heart Know that He loves the sinners and is never merciless For He is the Most Merciful 😻

Tired eyes
Tired eyes But I keep losing my beauty sleep And I am sick of counting sheep Tired eyes But I am still wide awake Despite feeling fatigued Tired eyes But I keep staring at the ceiling Where I see nothing but a ceiling Tired eyes I guess I am over thinking The brain just won't stop working Tired eyes Few hours left Till the sun rise again Tired eyes Stop counting Stop staring Stop thinking Just stop it Let me get some sleep

Hayya ‘alas solaah! Hayya ‘alal falaah! Hurry to prayer! Hurry to success!
No matter how busy you are with life
No matter how sad, frustrated, disappointed you are
No matter how many times you feel like giving up
When you prioritise Allah

In everything you do
All the way
Lets do our best
To pray, on time
InsyaAllah, He will grant you success

We plan, He plans.
The plans we planned The decisions we made The time we spent Every second every minute The energy we gave off Every sacrifice Just to make it right and precise Despite all that Allah is doing it better than us Because He is surely the Best of all Planners So, have faith in Allah For He has better plans for you, for me For all of us.
