Hey guys! So my old laptop got a virus which is why I left but I now have a new one so I have the chance to come back, but I wanted to know if people even remember me from the 1950s haha Would anyone still want to rp or anything? ❝ Oh! R-right! ❞ she had gotten so distracted by trying to encourage Adrien that she had completely forgotten about the milk in the microwave. After taking it and testing the temperature on her hand, she finally began feeding the doll. She turned towards the boy with a r e l a x e d smile, she was finally starting to feel comfortable and really enjoy this.

❝ I think she’s falling asleep... ❞ she whispered as slight whistles came from the doll, indicating it was calming into slumber. 

            Unbelievably smooth, he thought with utter detest of himself. Thinking quickly, his free hand came up in a gesture toward the doll poised on the kitchen counter in suggestion.

            ❝Ah, maybe– it’s the doll?                          It still needs fed, right?❞

            He reminded her, taking advantage the moment she turned to follow the line of his hand and snatching up a dish cloth to do away with the mess along the slope of his neck– since when was he so careless?

“Me? Afraid of a rollercoaster? Psh. Tch. Noooo... Please!” she wore a nonchalant smile, waving her hand dismissively.  She supposed if it wasn’t a huge one like he was talking about she could handle it. “N-non, lets ride the roller coaster!”

“You’re not scared, are you?” he raised an eyebrow. She looked hesitant, maybe rollercoasters weren’t her thing. They weren’t exactly the most easygoing of rides. “It’s not like it’s one of those big amusement type rollercoasters?” he assured her. “But if you’d rather we try something else, I’m open to suggestions.”

“Small furry things?” her eyes gradually start to widen and she looks around hastily. “L-l-like a mouse? Or a rat?!”

   𝓣hough the other was probably right in it not being a big deal, Marinette had the very frequent tenancy to blow things out of proportion. Imagine if Adrien would have picked it up or if someone else found it and told him what was it in. It would have been the end of the world, she thought.

   𝓢he laughed probably a little too hard at the joke, something else the girl tended to do a little too often. It was more out of slight awkwardness than genuinely finding the joke THAT funny but it a way it could be taken very seriously as that was something that would happen to her. 

   ❝ Are you new here? I haven’t seen you around. ❞ she asked, knowing the possibility of her just being in another grade or simply another class.

   “Don’t mention it.” She shrugs, scratching the back of her neck. “Just figured you wouldn’t want to lose it, if it was a school assignment or somethin’. It’s no big deal” It really wasn’t, she’s done  way more important things than return a paper to a kid.  But it looked like it had been important, al least it had to have been for her to react that way.

     Slender finger gestures to the girl’s bag. “Better make sure that’s closed right, before you lose a whole book next time.” It’s her attempt at some kind of joke, though her tone doesn’t hold as much humor as she means for it to.

“Aheheh roller coastsers...” as much as she tried to force it away a nervous smile crept on her lips and her giggle sounded a bit more worried than excited. When he said rides she assumed the ferris wheel or teacups. “I love rollercoasters--” she prayed her high pitched lying voice wasn’t a dead giveaway. It wasn’t the heights that bothered her, obviously she had been much high places than that. But the idea of riding so fast and having such dramatic drops on  a tiny vehicle with very thin railing was slightly unsettling. Plus these particular rollercoasters were only set up to run for about a week or so before they were taken down... how stable could they be?

At least it was just a playful game between friends. If it was his father, he’d scold him for sure. It was always perfection for him. Probably why he was so competitive at times. He smiled when she took up the idea for trying the rides. “Great.” he gave a nod. “How do you feel about…” he looked around the park for what looked like it could be a fun ride and he managed to settle on one. “rollercoasters?”

𝓦hen Marinette slightly overheard the whispers of the other she assumed it was mere mumbling over not being able to find her phone. She took a bite of her sandwich as she waited patiently for the other.

❝ Oh, non. ❞ she waved her hand dismissively at the girl’s apology, not minding the hardly of a wait. Her eyes peered down at her screen and she nodded, realizing she didn’t know the location of the photos.

❝ Where are you from again? ❞

“Bigger person, I like that idea.” Pea peeked from her backpack and looked around, she could sense another kwamii, two of them. “psst Gaby.” Gaby looked at her backpack and worried and opened her bag up slightly, “I should get my phone out.” 

She tried to hid Pea and gave her a glare, “Not in school Pea.” Pea crossed her little arms, “But those heroes go here I sense their- mm!” Gaby shoved a cookie in her mouth and took her phone out.

 “Sorry I couldn’t find it quicker.” She turned it on and showed her photos of her in her hometown. “This is where I came from nothing but land and alot of dust.”
