accidentally using sugar instead of salt (or vice versa) and trying to quickly think of a way to cover it up before the other finds out

teaching the other how to use a certain tool (can opener, potato peeler, etc.) since they're somehow doing it so terribly, dangerously wrong.

bickering over whether or not they should follow the recipe word for word

"cheese? i thought you said peas. i bought peas." "...eh, i guess that's fine too. put them in."

setting like three separate timers for different things and then forgetting which timer went to what.

one lying about knowing how to cook and promising to walk the other through a recipe for a date idea (then having to spend all day trying to perfect the recipe themselves)

^ or they can just wing it and chaos ensues naturally

finding out the oven is broken after already prepping everything together

"god, could you stir any slower?" "you try this then!"

^ *proceeds to stir perfectly fine whilst the other glares in annoyance*

having to pause and tend to the other because they burnt a singular finger

"did you wash those?" [very obviously lying] "....of course."

sweetly lifting a spoon to their mouth to taste a little of the food

^ this immediately backfiring because the food was still too hot.

[after the meal is successfully cooked] "so we agree we're not attempting this again, right? "not for a long while."

one ordering delivery halfway through and the other just stares in disbelief

^ "you're serious? we're working our asses off here and you ordered chicken." "we had a rough start, okay? i thought we would have given up by now."

dancing and making fun out of having to clean up the mess in the kitchen

spending the next day in bed together as they had somehow given themselves food poisoning.

I've popped by again and this time, I'm in the mood to write! Maybe because I got this super cute keyboard and I'm so in love with it !! I guess it's time to browse through some new blogs and if anyone is still around, I'll drop a message :)

I just randomly thought of my blog and I've popped in! It's around that time of the year when I come back feeling to write again but most likely I'll disappear. OR maybe I'll move blogs and start fresh? Decision is pending!

Omg yes definitely! I'm totally down for Yejun and Soojin, as well as Hansol and Chul! I can’t help but want some domestic plots for Soojin and Yejun since he’s such a homebody askjfffff IMAGINE THE FLUFF ♡ 

As for Hansol, I can totally see him inviting Chul for surprise dates (farmer’s markets, festivals and flower fields etc.) EEEP I CAN TOTALLY WRITE STARTERS FOR SOOJIN & CHUL.

Gasp emits her lips when she’s brought in for a warm embrace, the femme can’t remember the last time she was held like this which is why she allows it for a little longer though her arms stay firmly by her sides. ❝ For the time be— How long ? ❞ Lips purse as she steps back into the family home, leading him inside. ❝ Hah, yeah— Just regular old Jihye. ❞ Mumbles out of nervousness, she’s never felt so vulnerable in any man’s presence like she does when Joonho is around. ❝ Excuse the mess, I’m actually … Moving. ❞ Somewhat, it’s more the fact that no one lives here anymore, not really.

With all the years that have passed, he couldn't even remember the last time they were together like this, face to face. He was an ambitious young boy, having his entire youth dedicated to getting out of this small town. When he had found an opportunity, he took it without looking back and didn’t think twice of those who he was leaving behind. Even when he had feelings for Jihye back then, his desire to leave and build a career out in the world was much stronger. 

❝ Indefinitely. ❞ he answered, following her into the house, his eyes taking in the familiar sight. ❝ You don’t seem to be happy that I’m here, ❞ he teased, ❝ but how is regular, old Jihye doing ? What’s she been up to these days ? ❞

Joonho enjoyed seeing how flushed her cheeks were in the moment, the word cute was clearly written all over her features. What he didn’t expect was for her to make the first move. ❝ You’re full of surprises , aren’t you ? ❞

           ꒰       ｡   𓄹   ❁    ･    ࣪˖⁩    𓂅    nothing  would  ever  compare  to  the  happiness  jihoon  had  brought  to  her  life  .  no  amount  of  money  can  ever  buy  her  this  kind  of  happiness  .  yes  ,  it’s  hard  to  be  without  the  safety  net  of  her  parents  .  no  longer  does  she wake  up  to  a  table  full  of  foods  she  barely  touches .  no  more  warm  shower  whenever  she  pleases  .  most  of  all  ,  no  more  mommy  and  daddy  to  shelter  her  from the  harsh  reality  of  life  .  despite  all  this  ,  she  does  not  regret  choosing  him  .  out  of  all  the  decision  in  life  she  had  made  .  he  proves  to  be  the  best  .   though  future  of  them  now  becomes  uncertain  ,  she  trusts  that  together  they  can  figure  everything  out  .  it  may  be  foolish  to  think  that  life  is  similar  to  a  disney  fairytale  wherein  true  love  conquers  all  .  there’s  not   much   one   can  do  when   the  heart  takes  over  .

After such a long day, he felt energized and refreshed coming back home to Lily. He made the right choice to choose love over everything else and in these small moments, he really believed that their love can conquer anything. However, reality was never gentle so he’s had his doubts and worries over whether or not his partner was able to adjust with their new lifestyle, especially when Lily had a more lavish one. It was something Jihoon couldn’t offer to her and sometimes, he wonders if she ever regrets ever choosing him. 

Her voice pulls him back from his thoughts and a smile graces his lips,  ❝ yes, let me go take a quick shower and I’ll be right back. ❞ Even as he’s tired and all he wants was to do was go straight to bed, he’s fighting the fatigue so he can have dinner with his love. ❝ I’m glad you’re adjusting fine and making the best out of all of this, ❞ he’s waving his hand to gesture around their small living space, his eyes now looking down and not meeting with hers. ❝ I’m sorry that I can’t give you more than this ...  ❞ Even though Lily had chosen him over everything else, his thoughts keep gnawing away at him, for not being enough and not providing enough for her.

She's biting back the response of defiance that threatened to leave her lips because she knows she can’t fix everything. In a perfect world, she would have helped every single soul she came across but this was reality, a place where her ideals weren’t going to work. Instead, she’s reluctantly nodding her head.
