Happy National Coming Out Day y’all. It’s been about 6 years since I came out as bi, and now it’s been a year since I came out as nonbinary.
Things being scary for our community right now, it’s understandable why some may not want to come out for their own safety. Regardless, coming out is a decision you should make when you want to and when you are safe to.
As for me, I’m gonna continue to try and just live while I’m on my journey with identity. I can’t change how people might feel about it, plus it’s not my job to change people (that’s something people have to want to do on their own after all).
All I ask is that people trust that I’ll live my life the way I want to, trust that I am what I say I am. And if anything were to change in the future, then I’ll let you know.
If I keep holding back on deciding to do things out of fear that I might regret it later, life would remain static for me. If I end up regretting it, then I end up regretting it, oh well (Regret can also be the result of not doing anything. I know I have those types of regrets).
Still, I’m gonna go on this journey regardless if people join me on it or not. I do want people there, especially those that I care the most about. It’s up to them if they wanna join or not. I’ll just be here as a they/them causing mayhem til then.
To my fellow queer and trans/nonbinary friends and family, do whatever you need to do to stay safe during these times. Do whatever you need to do to keep moving forward.
For now, I offer this self portrait that I finished earlier in the week. Normally, I use my more cartoonish style. I tried that at first. I ended up switching to making it look a bit more realistic after finding it would work better. Enjoy!

This is a 3D lighting project I did for CG360 that I did last fall. This process for getting this piece done was…interesting to put it nicely. I did put in the value thumbnail next to it so you could see where it started. There were many things that went wrong when getting the final result, such as ZBrush being hard to navigate, me increasing the topology too much to where the original Maya file became unusable, then I had only 2 to 3 weeks to model everything in Maya on top of doing work for my other classes, etc. So if some of it looks wonky, that’s just cause I’m not really a 3D modeler. The models do work for what this piece is though( thank god these aren’t being used as models that you can animate, cause in that aspect they are horrendous). Plus for being work that had to be compressed into 2 to 3 weeks, it came out better than I expected. People around me have even said that they like it because of the stylization.
Ultimately doing this project showed me, that even if a million things go wrong, it’s still possible to create something good out of it. That you can still make it work even with limited resources, you’ll just have to find different ways around it. And that part of learning is learning that sometimes, there are just some skills that are just not our thing, and that’s ok. Mad respect to any 3D modelers and rigging people out there, this stuff is not easy. It’ll probably be a bit before I touch 3D modeling again. As for these characters, I do want to explore more with them eventually. Guess you’ll just have to find out. Enjoy!

Video description: Video of a pinkish-purple flame spinning around before hitting the ground and disappearing.
This will be a repost from Insta cause I want to upload more art on here. So this will be an art dump from my time at college/university. So with that context, here we go.
As I have now wrapped up at DigiPen, I figured I’d show y’all some of the work I did through all of my junior year through the spring and fall semesters, minus the film stuff (because it’s running through festivals at the moment), and the VFX stuff I did in Unity.
The first one isn’t really a style I that would usually draw in and it’s a bit wonky because of that, though I love Bronwyn to bits and I want to re draw her at some point.
But that does lead me to why I’m posting all of these now. I wanted to show the progression of my work to where I’m at now, even if these aren’t the most most amazing pieces ever.
Plus doing these helped me to become a better artist and to try more to get to where I am now. And there will more to come. Enjoy!

The Terms of Service
(OPEN) So after taking time to figure out details, I am ready to announce that I am finally going to start doing commissions!!! For now, it’ll just be digital paintings. For the types of paintings I’m doing you can find the info in this post.
It’s probably not the best formatting (you can probably tell that graphic design is not my passion nor my speciality. That and I don’t know what my brand is at this point). So the formatting will hopefully improve in the future as I do this.
It is my first time doing this so please be extra patient with me as I figure this out. Like I said in the terms of service, I’m only going to do the first 4 people to request a commission. So please, don’t be too upset if you aren’t able to request one after all the slots are filled. There’s always a chance for a future commission.
If you can’t afford a commission but still want to financially support me, you can always go to my Kofi to tip me. That or buy something from my shops. Both of which are in the Linktree in my bio or pinned (depending on where you see this post). Don’t worry too much if you don’t have much money to spare right now. I appreciate any support I get including sharing my art or posts!
Be sure to read through everything, especially the terms of service. Enjoy!
Update for Tumblr: Since there is a 10 pic limit, the terms of service will be a reblog on this post.

So as I’m planning on doing commissions along with continuing the job hunt, I figured now is a good time to plug some of my other sites, like current website (emphasis on current), my current shops, and Kofi. That way, you can support me financially if you wish, or just share my work

Hello Tumblr community!
This blog has been started to document and share fundraisers vetted by @nabulsi, @el-shab-hussein, and Moh'd Ayesh. We felt it would help to create a space dedicated to this documentation process.
The fundraisers we are vetting will be added to this page as well as included in our google sheet.
We will continue to reblog and share on our personal blogs, and that will not change, but this blog will help better organize these fundraisers.
Please spread this as we'd like to start using this primarily to share newly vetted fundraisers.
~ Thank you

decolonizepalestine.com is an easy to navigate website run by two palestinians which breaks down common myths about palestine and provides a reading list organized by a wide variety of categories ranging from history and culture to media and censorship. it’s a good starting point to use if you want to learn more about the modern day situation in palestine and understand the truth behind myths that have been perpetuated about israel’s occupation of palestine.

I am Ahmed Al-Nabih from Gaza, and this is my twin brother Abdul Rahman. I am 30 years old. I used to live a beautiful life with my family and my brother. The idea of marriage was on the table and we were going to continue our lives in our beautiful house, but something happened like a nightmare. The war came and took all our dreams and destroyed our house. Our lives became very difficult and arduous. We lived in tents. In the extreme heat, my mother suffers from chronic diseases, heart disease, blood pressure, and diabetes. Please help me save my family and my elderly mother. I ask for your support and participation. A small donation makes a difference. I have only collected 1,60euros in about five months! Thank you all!❤️🙏

Pictures of me and my twin brother before the war!
Pictures of us with my mother before the war, when our lives were beautiful and stable!☹️
A picture in the war of my mother, who is 62 years old, due to the lack of medicine because she suffers from chronic diseases, blood pressure, heart, and diabetes. Her health condition deteriorated due to the difficult life in Gaza and famine, and because we live in tents in the extreme heat.!🥹
I am during the war and my life has become arduous and tiring!😌
Now we live here, it is a terrifying life, more like a nightmare!☹️
Our beautiful house has become rubble!😢

It’s been over a year since my last Young Royals film study, but I finally finished this one with both Wille and Simon this time. It is a bit of a bittersweet piece since I started this piece when the series ended in March (and on my birthday too). This show was something I didn’t initially see as something that I would adore. But, it still has me in its grasp even after the show has ended.
I especially love these two and their journey through all of the mess that they are thrown into. The show did its job of making me want to root for these two. And, I wanted both of them to be happy regardless if they ended up together or not. The show was also not afraid to show some moments of its characters where they make messy decisions, and you get frustrated with their choices. Then, it’ll have you giggling and kicking with some of the sweet and romantic moments. I just love this show so much and I wish we were able to get more. Despite me being sad about it ending, I am still satisfied with what we got for the most part, especially the ending.
And just because the show is over, that doesn’t mean I’m done with creating art for it. I still have plenty of pieces and film studies that I wanna do for Young Royals. My love for this show is not going anywhere anytime soon. Like with the other film studies, this post also includes a Timelapse video and the original still. Enjoy!

Maternity kits, medical threads and scissors, water testing kits, anesthetics, mobile desalination units, etc do you see the pattern? Israel is not only starving the people of Gaza but it also wants to ensure the spread of disease through contaminated water and surgical tools, as well as ensuring injured Palestinians suffer through horrendous pain.
It's beyond sickening.
