Canadian horror film series: "Ginger Snaps" (2000), "Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed" (2004), and "Ginger Snaps Back: The Biginning" (2004).
The first movie centers around the lives of two teenage sisters named Ginger and Brigitte Fitzgerald. Bonded in their fear of growing up they create a pact to die together. They are perceived as peculiar and unconventional due to their morbid interests and gothic appearance, causing them to be marginalized from society.
One fateful night one of the sisters falls victim to an attack by a mysterious creature. Although she manages to escape from this encounter, she soon begins to undergo peculiar physical and emotional transformations. As her behavior becomes increasingly erratic and unpredictable, the other sister realizes that something is seriously wrong with her.
The film delves into various themes such as adolescence, puberty, and sisterhood. It provides an authentic portrayal of these experiences rather than conforming to the typical formulaic approach often seen in contemporary movies.

Me, While I sit and observe, overwhelmed by the feeling of powerlessness, as if there is nothing I can do to bring about change in this society. I sit and observe. As I see more people complying, accepting their “fate”. As people break their spirits completely, distracted by lavish matters, just to not see the truth; like alcoholics. Waiting for the liquid to make them forget. Waiting in awe at this Dread. Glamorous filthy “reality”. We are waiting for the impending doom of humanity. We all sit and wait for something.
