Having Trigun thoughts again and I'm wondering about the twins abilities...

(this is about Trimax but feel free to read it as a theory for Stampede/Stargaze as well)

We know Vash always refused to use his plant powers to heal his injuries and to hurt others, just as Knives always used his powers to have a pristine body and to kill as many people as possible

But at the end of Trimax, Knives, for likely the first time in his whole life, uses his powers to create life from scratch, just like many other dependent plants can do, especially the geo/fertility plants

So my question is: Vash, who always loved and respected and protected human life, never helped humans in making the desert a better place to live in. He never created trees or green (please do tell me if I'm wrong but I can't remember any scene from the manga suggesting he did); why? Vash despised his nature, but I think using it to help humans would have been good for him

What I think is that (speaking of singular abilities, or if the twins were born as regular plants) Knives was likely a geo/fertility plant, while Vash would come closer to plants that produce raw energy (Knives did say in the manga that Vash's "gate" - whatever it is - is stronger than his own, and combining it with Stampede we can think it's something about the ability of producing the energy of a black hole)

It's kinda poetic: Knives, who could create life, chose to destroy it, while Vash, who could kill humans maybe even more easily than Knives, chose to protect life
