Is Louis trying to hit at Larry with lyrics???

Ok so when I first saw Louis tweet this song I was like “oh cool he likes this song too” because I mean it’s a good song if you haven’t heard it you should. Tbh I didn’t even think about the fact that they say Larry until everyone started tweeting it out but is this necessarily Larry prove?? Well no not really. Sure it’s a big coincidence that the song says the name but in all honesty it’s just a really good song so it’s hard for me to think he tweeted it out just for that reason buuut I do want so bring up the meaning and or story of the song and the similarities to Louis song “miss you” because both songs are actually very similar if you really listen. In “7” the song is about a guy saying he wants or misses a relationship yet needs more time alone and forgets about it by being under the influence saying he wants to call but forgets because he needs time which is the same for Louis “miss you”. Louis is speaks about his troubles in a struggling relationship where he wants or misses that person yet can’t find the time nor courage to call so like catfish he tries to forget his feelings by drinking them away hence under the influence. Ok ok so that’s a lot but now let’s link that back to Harry so we can see this does connect in some way and that brings us to Harry’s song “from the dining room table” where again Harry speaks about a relationship that is struggling and he misses where all he wants is this person to call him!! So basically Louis is struggling to find the courage to call him and Harry just wants the call. If that isn’t enough Larry prove for you idk what else could be. Anyways the point I’m trying to put across here is that yes I think it’s a coincidence that the song said Larry buuut the meaning isn’t. Louis obviously knew it said the name yes but he also knew the meaning it holds close to him.

Am I the only one thinking the main reason Louis has been waiting so long to release his album particularly until next year is because that’s when the Sony contracts will end then he’ll be free to say what he wants to maybe even come out, I mean he did say the album is going to be very telling and we’ll learn a lot about him from it...

Medicine and Anna theory..

Ok so I’ve been thinking about why Harry decided not to release Medicine or Anna as singles and just teased us with them on tour.. I mean they both received such positive feedback from us especially Medicine so why not give the people what they want? Well that’s where my theory come into play.

What if he can’t??

“Why couldn’t he” you ask well let’s remember that Harry as well as the other boys are still under the same contract for one direction until 2020. What this means is that the boys still have to keep the same image they had in one direction, which means they can’t really do anything that will ruin or change that image and for Harry that means he can’t come out.

We’ve all heard Medicine at this point and it’s known that Harry is basically coming out by saying he doesn’t care about genders with the lyrics “the boys and the girls are here I mess around with them/him (it’s debated) and I’m ok with it.” But here’s the thing we don’t know if that is what he’s really saying because without Harry releasing the song we’ll never know the correct lyrics are only what we think they are.

And this is why I think Harry isn’t allowed to release the single. If he were to do that we would finally find out what the song is about and he would officially come out but without that everything we say are just assumptions. Now with that I do think Harry thought of this in a very clever way because even though he knows his contract wouldn’t allow him to come out as gay so he thought of a way to kinda do it but not at the same time with this song.

Now this brings me to Anna. Ok so I like Anna, I do but it’s not my favorite song of his. I find it a bit basic but wouldn’t it make so much sense if the only way Harry would be allowed so sing a “gay” song live is to cover it up with a basic song about a women?? Doesn’t that sound like something management would have him do in order to cover up the “gay”??? But I don’t want you to think I’m trashing Anna because again I think it’s a good tune. I just find it to not have as much depth or meaning as Harry’s other songs.

All in all these are all just my opinions and thoughts but I honestly think there’s a reason that medicine and Anna were not released as singles and it isn’t because Harry doesn’t want too. I think he honestly has no choice. I think he wanted to connect with his fans on a more personal level but is forced to keep a straight image so his only way of “coming out” was with medicine and hoping his fans would know what he meant.

Ok being a big ass 1975 fan I’m finding it a little interesting that the artists that Matty is reaching out to have been rumored to be gay or bi..

Like I know we’re all on the same page with Harry but i also personally believe that Shawn is gay too.

If you’re a fan of the 1975 you know they aren’t shy to express their feelings on the lgbt community and are clear supporters. If you haven’t hear their song “loving someone” it’s soooo good but anyways I’m a little curious of the choices that Matty is placing when it comes to the artists he’s looking to work with...

Is Ready to Run Louis's coming out song??

Ready to Run has always been a favorite of mine but recently I've picked up a meaning i hadn't before so after reading though the lyrics a dozen times i am fully convinced that this is Louis's coming out song..

Now before i get into the lyrics i just wanna remind you that the main songwriters listed for this song are Liam and Louis so dont try and tell me im reaching also this song is basically a bunch of metaphors so i do split up the lyrics up a lot, hope you enjoy!!

“There's a lightning in your eyes, I can't deny

Louis has fallen for someone and like it or not he cant deny his feelings.

“Then there's me inside a sinking boat, running out of time”

Louis feels trapped as if hes running of time to tell this person how he feels about them.

“Without you, I'll never make it out alive But I know, yes I know, I'll be alright”

Without this person Louis feels he wont survive but also knows he’ll be alright because he has a sense the feeling is mutual between them. 

‘There's a devil in your smile that's chasing me And every time I turn around it's only gaining speed‘

The “devil” that is chasing Louis is the idea/battle that what he feels for this person is wrong and not accepted but even if he tries he cant seem to outrun the feelings every time he sees them smile.

“There's a moment when you finally realize There's no way you can change the rolling tide But I know, yes I know that I'll be fine”

Louis finally accepts his feelings by realizing he cant change them just how you cant change a rolling tide and knows hes gonna be fine.

“This time I'm ready to run Escape from the city and follow the sun”

Louis is ready to run/come out and share his feelings by getting away from the fame and being with/following the “Sun” (which in my opinion “sun” is a metaphor for Harry because if your a true Larrie you know that Louis has called Harry his “sun” before)

Louis knows that he wants to be with this person and can feel they want the same but needs their light to guide him from getting lost.

Louis knows he belongs with this person and wants to be free to love who he wants in his youth, hes ready to not look back and be with who he loves.

“There's a future in my life I can't foresee Unless of course I stay on course and keep you next to me”

Louis doesn't know how the relationship will work in the future but knows that if he keeps that someone close he may never lose them.

“There will always be the kind that criticize But I know, yes I know we'll be alright”

Lastly yes Louis knows that not everyone is going to accept who he is but knows he’ll be alright as long as he has who he loves by his side. (aka Harry)

Lyric Analysis: Woman

So I know that this song may sound like Harry is talking about a woman he likes but here’s my perceptive on it.

I'm selfish, I know, But I don't ever want to see you with him, I'm selfish, I know, I told you, but I know you never listen."

Harry is talking to Eleanor and telling her that he’s s selfish and doesn’t want to see her with Louis, he has told her this many times but she/management refuses to listen to him.

"I hope you can see the shape that I'm in, While he's touching your skin, He's right where I should, where I should be, But you're making me bleed"

Harry hopes that Eleanor can see the pain she is causing him while he is forced to watch Louis pretend to be with her, and dreads on the fact that Louis is somewhere he should be with him but Eleanor keeps getting in the way.

Harry calls her woman by doing this he takes away the factor that he is talking about a love interest where as normally you’d call someone you know want or like a pet name.

Harry is tempted to give up on pretending he’s s fine and just come out with Louis because Eleanors apologies arent fixing how he feels,he’s empty and the promises that are made continue to be broken,these promises could be things eleanor/ management may have promised to Harry like how long the her and Louis relationship would last or how far they would go to prove it.

So overall i don’t believe this song is about a woman Harry likes or wants but instead a woman he envy’s because she is with the guy he wants to be with.
