Haven’t gotten to play a TTRPG game as a player in over a MONTH and tomorrow I get to play DnD and MOTW hell yeah. Bout to be so happy.

Actually this is why I love choosing the kindest option in every situation I can when I do a playthrough. I like being a little too kind, whenever possible. I love granting too much understanding, even to the Emperor, even when I know he’s manipulating me the whole time. I love being too kind, until I have reason not to. I love avoiding combat and making friends.

I get why some people don’t like Mayrina, but i actually do. She’s distraught when you meet her, driven like Orpheus to bring back her lover, and Ethel convinced her she couldn’t be a mother anyways. In my opinion, if you help her, and meet her again in Act 3, she’s actually very satisfying. You meet her at her lowest, most selfish, for the one she loved, and she actually does make the best of it if you give her time.

Liking character is fun until you think about them and you just have to stare at nothing for a few minutes because of how tragic

And mauybe you are almost crying but you are having fun

I mean I know a certain level of projection on fictional characters and situations is inevitable and even healthy, but sometimes you got to step back into the real world to remind yourself that Character X is not your shitty parent/abusive ex/asshole boss/bully from high school, and that people who like Character X are not personally victimizing you.

Absolutely insane that I started getting close to a coworker and now I’m going to go to her and her fiancé’s wedding and there were points they considered having me as a part of the wedding party even. The world is wide and there are people who love me.
