Fandom terms have to sound silly, like blorbo or squick, because fandom needs humbling. Not a lot. But just every so often you need a good grounding reminder that all of this is literally made up nonsense for fun.
If you take a fictional thing so seriously that silly words genuinely annoy you, you've gone too far and you need to dial it back.

Player, immediately: THATS WHY SHES SO SURE THAT THE DEMON’S OBSESSION WILL WEAR OFF
Me, who has been hoping someone would catch onto that: YEAH

making every conversation into being about The Character with the same reliability and conviction of a youth pastor going “you know who else partied? our lord and savior”

No one cares and this isn’t even the focus of my blog but.
Something about how the lyrics in Would You Fall In Love With Me Again, in Penelope’s answer, just cuts me to my core in such a raw way.
“Would you fall in love with me again?”
“I *will* fall in love with you, over and over again, I don’t care how where or when, no matter how long it’s been, you’re mine. Don’t tell me you’re not the same person. You’re always my husband.”
“I will”
It’s not hypothetical. Penelope doesn’t say “I would”. She says “I will.” Penelope *will* always fall in love again.

On the note of hyperfixations etc, I need you all to understand the deep spiritual connection Susan Pevensie would have to Shadowheart from BG3. If this was yee olden fan times, I would dare suggest a crackship

The thing about getting a special interest in the autism sense is that very often I can engage with other interests still, but eventually I will run them through the filter of my special interest.
So anyways, this is what dnd class each Narnia character would be and also if they played d&d what class I think they’d like to play-

Also, I do realize this is probably the first time in 8 years running this blog that anyone has seen me curse publicly. It’s called character development, I guess.
After being in fandom spaces for more than a decade, I’m about to start reading whump. Put that man in a fuckin Situation.
