5 Quick & Easy, Not-So-Basic Egg Recipes To Try At Home
Whether eggs are your go-to food to cook for breakfast or a quick fix for a last minute meal, we all love how easy egg recipes are. Not only are they healthy, they are also super yummy to eat. One of the rare combinations where you can stay healthy without compromising on the taste.

1. Egg And Cheese Sandwich This basic egg recipe truly can be made within a few minutes. Cook your scrambled eggs until they are medium-soft. Toast the bottom half of an English Muffin or any other bread of your liking. Place the eggs on the bread, pour some cheese and add a layer of ham (optional). There you have it, an easy egg recipe that tastes so good!
2. The French Twist This is one of the most easy egg recipes for breakfast. Whisk together your mixture for french toast as per your liking (egg+milk+powdered sugar). You can also add some spices like cinnamon and nutmeg for some flavour. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add butter. Place a slice of ham on the pan and quickly dip your bread into the egg mixture and place over the ham. Cook each side until brown and serve with maple syrup! This may not be one of the most healthy egg breakfast recipes, but at least it’s delicious.
3. Spicy Scrambled Eggs Like many other easy egg recipes, whisk the eggs as per usual and keep aside. In a skillet, place some oil and heat over medium heat. Add some jeera, onions (fine chopped) heeng, green chillies, curry leaves and capsicum. Saute the vegetables for a few minutes. Add some tomatoes and saute for another couple of minutes. Next, add some pav bhaji masala, red chilli powder, turmeric and salt. Lastly, add the eggs and cook as per your liking. This scrambled eggs recipe is a must-try for spicy food lovers!
4. Spinach Omelette Another one of the most easy egg recipes, this one is filled with healthy nutrients! All that you have to do is add some chopped spinach into your omelette mixture. To make it even more yummy, add some of your favourite spices like - pepper, oregano, red chilli and even veggies like onions and tomatoes. Cook your omelette as you normally would and your omelette is ready! This is one of the most easy egg recipes ever and is perfect for a healthy breakfast!
This basic egg recipe is for all those who love their simple sunny-side up! Start by mixing together ⅓ cup of mayonnaise and ¼ cup of grated parmesan cheese. Spread the paste evenly on both the sides of a bread slice. Cut a small hole in the middle of the bread. Toast your bread over medium flame until golden brown. Turn the slice over and immediately crack an egg inside the hole. Turn the flame low, season with salt and pepper and cook for about 3-4 minutes. Voila, you are ready with your easy egg recipe!
