there is no point in being ashamed of yourself because of exhaustion, illness, struggling with money or with your career or with academics. there is no guilt in having needs and wanting to work on them. you are not inferior to anyone because you are having a hard time. you’re still worthy of good things, you’re still worthy of compassion and you deserve to forgive yourself because you can’t control everything. there’s only life, and everyone faces hardships in one way or another. you just have to face this, to live your own life, and to try the best you can to make things a little easier on yourself instead of feeling resentment towards yourself for things you aren’t truly guilty of because something’s are truly out of your control
