Discerning...

So, lately I have literally kept this in my whole mind that I am still discerning for the religious vocation. My spiritual director’s advices to me keeps going in my head for quite sometime and it has bothered me for several months, so maybe is this a calling for change of way? 

When people actually knew you have entered into this sort of -a thing, it mind buzzles you because you aren’t aware you might be called, or people may recognize that call of you from within, so I say its kinda different. 

I ask your prayers, that in some way I can recognize God’s will for me, my troubled self has been depriving me of that, and I have to deal with this world.

Recap: Almost close encounter with Cardinal Chito

It happened and its unusual.

My friends and I attended the installation mass of Rev. Fr. Jason Laguerta yesterday. Its the first time we met with my online friend -now real life friend Ally. Its a surprise adventure for my other friends, By and Aica bc honestly we planned already going but last Thursday (midnight) By/Aica showed interest of going and the rest is history.

At the start of the mass, I’m already shivering. What will I do? Cardinal Chito will see me in the aisle! *What to do?* I tried to forget my anxiety and fear only for tonight (still hoping to conquer it through the love) Yes, I waved my hands faster and smiled, he saw me waving and he raised his hand and smiled, then started the installation proper. Its my first time to witness this event and I’m looking forward for another one.

The homily was on point, there’s a twist however: a continuous advice for each and everyone the seventh commandment: Thou shall not steal, applying not only to politicians but also the entire community.

After the mass I got a chance to touch Cardinal Chito’s hand and said “Cardinal, take care!” but we are trying to have our books be autographed by him.

My friends and I went to the gate of the Church overseeing the crowds wanted to encounter him. However, with the help of Fr. Jason the books are given to the Cardinal and he will sign it the next day. Its the first time I weep and express this bonus joy.

Its been a while!

Thank you Lord! First semester is finally finished. I’m free from schoolworks and everyday is reading day. 

And to tell how amazing this year is, I finally met my shepherd, Cardinal Chito Tagle for two consecutive times... and how cute I encountered him. He’s one of the sweetest, approachable human being in town. Take note “human being” Yeah, I know he isn’t an ordinary person but at the same, I’m happy everytime he’s near to me I felt like a friend supporting another friend. 

Thank you Cardinal Chito for being a part of my entire life and continuous giver of inspiration. Of course you’re second to the last. Just kidding, but definitely not the first. 

I’m ready to rock the semestral break by establishing a book blog handle. This is goodnews for me. AMDG!

Happy Happy Birthday to my sister from Cardinal Tagle, Aicskie! I'm thankful that I met you in social media first before we met each other personally! (As in, desire na desire hihi) Thanks sa pagdala mo sa akin sa Residencia (highlight talaga ng summer ko yun) Thanks sa pagiging karamay ko kay Cards. Thanks sa pagfafangirl mo, hindi ako alone. Thanks dahil nireplayan mo yung unang subtweet ko sa'yo. Thanks sa friendship!!!! Forever it is. Hahahaha. Thanks sa lahat I swear I am speechless na talaga and I want to see you again (God's will pa din if ever) I'm praying for our friendship, praying for each other's future! Wanna share a recent experience with folks today: I went to a tapsi store to buy dinner for my family. While waiting, a lil homeless kid approached a woman (with her small family) cont. the homeless kid has a good reputation to the community and he doesn't know where his parents are. The woman ordered extra meal for the kid and they talked, minutes later three stooges (homeless kids again) invaded the tapsi store! They took a glass and drank the rest of remaining water in the container in an aggressive manner. The woman asked the three stooges "Do you like in DSWD?" They said NO. I heard one girl said to the kid "Don't be like those kids" The three stooges left and the kid is being taken care of the small family (for now) maybe they'll accommodate the kid or whatsoever.

An early birthday greeting for  (cutest) Cardinal Chito Tagle...

Since I don’t have the quality time to blog because school, Imma make this early as possible. 

First of all, I would like to thank the Almighty, on the 21st of June a rockstar of the Catholic Church was born. (whateven)

Cardinal Tagle, thank you so much! (For real!) This is the first time I’m celebrating this milestone in your life. You have became an important part of my spiritual life. 

Second, I pray for your good health, activities, pastoral work in your ministry. Honestly it looks exhausting to me but your hard work is appreciated. I know I look like creepy (sort of) for watching everything you do but thats the only way of expressing my love and admiration to you. I am always impressed in what you’ve done and how genius you are but thanks (this message isn’t enough and I’m speechless inside) This love is difficult for me to understand. Finally, you may not be in the Philippines to celebrate your birthday we are gonna party! (Mmmm I think so?) The excitement is honestly real.

I’m praying for you hihihihi.

Thanks be to God! The newly elected President of Caritas Internationalis' is none other than our beloved Shepherd of the Archdiocese of Manila, ✝ His Eminence Luis Antonio G. Cardinal Tagle. The Church of the whole Philippines is indeed blessed! Pray for our Cardinal to this new mission/pastoral ministry. (photos from @CaritasManila twitter)
