I love how the cult of the lamb experience can be so different for everybody. My Jalala arrived with the natural sceptic trait which made me headcanon here as seeing the Lamb less godlike and like a nornal person, giving them normailty in these crazy times. Yarlen arrived with the poet trait which is such a cute coincidence, Yarlen writes, Jalala draws, the creative siblings!!

I saw someone else's Jalala have the lethaly jealous spouse trait, she kills any other SPOUSES AND ALWAYS WINS lmao. That Jalala is much more badass than my version and I love them all.

My first proper post about this little AU I've been cooking up! I'm going to just call it Song of Eternity with the alternative title of The Loneliest God. And below is some added context :) I'm hoping I can doodle some more and really start crafting this but for now- enjoy!!

part 1: Jalala and Lamb

She was the second person in Lamb's life that they adored- But the only one to have fully taken their heart. The night Lamb confessed was in the middle of a dance circle (they had already discussed this with Yarlen prior), and she was a ball of a lot of feelings but ultimately said yes. After some time of being in the dating phase they eventually married.

She became everything at that point, not only was she Lamb's wife, she was the longest standing disciple the cult had. She was the loyalty enforcer, and, she was Lamb's right hand while they were on crusade. Her, Yarlen, and Rinor had been revived many, many times, and eventually gifted a gold skull necklace (Jalala's), and regular skull necklaces (Yarlen and Rinor's) to lessen the amount of times thos had to happen. And to keep her happy.

The day she wanted to pass was the most shattering day of Lamb's life and Godhood... But they didn't argue and she was able to pass and join her brother and Rinor once her necklace was removed. Never once has Lamb attempted to revive her. To respect her wishes. And when Narinder comes asking, this is the answer given:

"Unlike YOU, when someone tells me they want to rest, I let them!"

These words sparked an entire nights argument between the both of them of Lamb's duties as the god of death now, and their own feelings swaying that. And that they need to be taking advantage of their newfound and unfettered power that Narinder himself had lost.
