I had a blast helping come up with artists with Olivia for this, check it out! I'd love to hear if anybody makes a bingo out of this!
so a few weeks back i made a lil art piece to celebrate how much me and @lambinajam have been bonding over music (click here to see it), especially as we both have quite out there music tastes.
they came into my dms and suggested we do a bingo, based off music weâve bonded over. this includes music weâve recommended to each other and loved, music weâre already mutually fans of, and a wildcard pick each (my wildcard is bmth, theirs is spirit of the beehive)
so, letâs play: reblog this crossing over how many of these you listen to!

Iâm not going to say that I pass. I most certainly donât. I literally got âsir-edâ about an hour ago when a washing machine was delivered since our old one was getting wonky and locking up.
âŚbut it was nice to see a hazy reflection and without a thought recognize the form as a womanâŚ
âŚit was even nicer that the person I passed to was myself.
Again, blurry reflection, in a glass door, from far away...
âŚ
âŚbut it was still really nice.

Life of Lamb #13: You're such a Chick
I've been contemplating introducing Egg Lamb for a good while now, but I didn't have the design nailed down in my head till earlier this week.
I always seemed to get along better with girls in school. Curious why that is đ¤

It's not an advantage. It doesn't even level the playing field.
I live in the United States, and the issue of discrimination is something that continues to persist and is getting worse for queer people as well as other marginalized groups.
It's not something that can be fixed with simple additions or restrictions. The issue itself is systemic and manifests in multiple ways and places.
My hope isn't that this comic can educate people on the scope of the issue, but rather that it opens the door to learning.
I'll also be linking to a queer rights group I've worked with before, Campaign for Southern Equality. They help to fight against the growing amount of anti-queer bills that are being introduced, with a focus on the southern states.

I generally like to highlight positive things with my comics, so unless anything new happens with Harry Potter/JK Rowling down the road Iâm anticipating this being the last time I want to have a comic on the subject.
There was another idea that folks were putting out there in comment threads last week that I thought was a little silly, so Iâd like to quickly address it in non-comic form: folks saying that anything we consume has some kind of morally dubious strings attached.
To that point, I absolutely agree! Everything we consume, especially in more affluent nations, has some amount of exploitation involved.Â
Where I break away from this concept, however, is that folks were listing things like gasoline, electronics, food, clothing, etc.
What, exactly, is the caloric value of Harry Potter?Â
When parents come back from work and put food on the table, are they serving up a hot tray of Weasley sibling plushies?Â
How did they earn the money to provide that plentiful bounty if not by using fossil fuels and telecommunication devices in a society that compels their use?
Equating a book series to necessities like food/clothing/etc is an intellectually dishonest argument.Â
Saying âdonât consume Harry Potterâ is literally offering self-proposed allies a simple, insanely easy layup.
The fact that doing something that requires zero effort, nor is asking any life sacrifice to be made, is still too much of an ask for some people tells you what you probably already know:
Those folks were never allies to begin with.
One more thing that I want to touch on regarding responses from last week. Iâve been making comics for fifteen years; for the most part, I wouldnât respond to negative comments, but one thing I would never respond to was cruel comments.Â
There was a comment that, for me anyway, fit the bill of âcruelâ. The person in question accused me of not being transgender, and that Iâm a bad actor MAGA trying to stir up strife. I couldnât see the whole of the comment as it was deleted before I woke up the next day, but in my notifications on mobile I was able to see the commenterâs name and the first bit of what they wrote.Â
For the first time in my life, I responded to a cruel comment. Hereâs what I wrote:
---
Hey!
Wanted to reach out to you regarding a comment you made to me that appears to have been deleted. I first saw it on mobile and was only able to see part of the comment, but of what I did see, it read:
âHi! Just wanted you to know that I am an ally to trans people, but not you, because you donât deserve allies. I honestly donât even think you are actually a real trans person. Youâre more than likely a right-wing MAGA who just wants to pick fights and cause trouble for the LGBTQâŚâ
              -your comment
Iâm sure to a degree you knew that this was wrong to say, as it appears as though youâve deleted the comment.Â
What Iâm not sure about is why you came to the conclusion that you did, and Iâd like to understand.Â
My comic is available online and I donât hide anything about myself, at least not anymore since I came out. As a quick rundown of my journey to this point, I was questioning my gender starting around twelve/thirteen, knew I was trans at twenty, didnât speak a word of it until I was twenty-nine when I came out to a few people, then didnât do anything about it again until I was thirty-five and decided that I wanted to transition. I then publicly came out at thirty-six (Iâm currently thirty-seven).
It took a long time to get to a point where I could overcome the shame I had for how I felt, and an even longer time to finally start talking about this part of myself that I was compelled to hide.
Itâs an awful thing for someone to waltz into a situation multiple decades in the making and then declare that a journey they had no part in or knowledge of to be untrue.
Even the smallest amount of double checking would have revealed that Iâm being genuine, itâs a shame you decided to say such a hurtful thing with no due diligence.
Iâve strolled through your comment history to better understand where youâre coming from. I appreciate that you are someone with strong convictions and that youâre open to communicating them. However, a lot of what youâre saying doesnât appear to be productive.Â
For one, having strong convictions mean nothing when youâre voting third party. I understand that you voted blue in 2024, but it looks like Libertarian is your party most of the time. There is no such thing as neutral on a moving train. You either push the train forward, or try to stop it. Neutrality only helps the people pushing the train forward.
While my comic certainly is accusatory of a specific behavior, Iâm not looking to pick a fight. Your comments, however, are calling people losers, telling people to âstay madâ, telling people theyâre worthless, and gloating about all the sex youâre having.
Thatâs what trying to pick a fight looks like, why are you doing it?
Iâm not going to pretend to understand the story of your life, or tell you that your experiences arenât true. But what I can say is that I have an understanding of what itâs like to be angry at things in life and not always have the most elegant words to communicate those feelings.
Whatever it was in life sparked so much anger in you that you decided to invalidate my identity so casually and callously, Iâm sorry that happened and I hope things improve for you.
Best,
Alex

I guess thatâs all Iâve got to say today.Â

It's funny. Before I realized I was trans and transitioned, I usually associated myself a lot with butterflies. After I transitioned, I started using moths as my motif instead.

3 years since my life truly began. đ
My HRT Anniversary was on the 25th- its kinda weird, so much has happened, but it's been good. So it feels odd to say its been 3 years, but also not weird at all. Lol
I love my family, I wish I had the time or even the room to include every person that means the world to me in this comic, but alas. đ

I've come to make an announcement!
Do YOU want art? I have art!
I don't know how many I'll accept, but at least for now, if you want to fill in the base, message me and all that! Please make sure you have venmo or cashapp.
As a last note, I'm not confident in drawing anthro/therian art, so I would prefer to draw humans/human faces. If you're paying for my art, I want to give you high quality art!

Our boy âthe fake trans allyâ is back! Everyone wave!
There was a subreddit that popped up on r/all for me recently called r/HarryPotteronHBO, a post about some characters that had just received their casting announcements for the new HBO Harry Potter show.Â
I was intrigued to see what the discourse on that sub would be regarding J.K. Rowlingâs politics, and was confused when there wasnât a single word about itâŚ
âŚuntil I saw the subreddit rules.
One of their rules states that discussing her politics is not allowed, with the following explanation:
âTo maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment, this subreddit does not allow discussions about J.K. Rowlingâs political beliefs, public statements, or involvement in real-world political or social issues.
This community is for fans who want to discuss the upcoming Harry Potter series on HBO and the wider universe including the books and films. Conversations about the authorâs personal views often lead to division, heated arguments, and discomfort for members who simply want to enjoy the world of Harry Potter.
We recognize that J.K. Rowlingâs political commentary has affected how many people engage with the franchise, and understand that her activism has negatively impacted transgender individuals. However, this subreddit exists to focus on the fictional world and to give fans of all backgrounds a space to enjoy that world without being drawn into broader political debates.âÂ
- Rule 10: Discussions Regarding JK Rowling's Political Views Are Not Allowed, r/HarryPotteronHBO
Obviously, this is a load of horseshit.Â
If youâre literally saying, âwe recognize that weâre promoting the work of someone who is actively harming a marginalized community buuuuutâŚâ, feel free to stop right there and begin reflecting on why you value your entertainment more than the lives of other people.
You know sheâs harming trans people. You know sheâs using her wealth to do it. You know promoting her new show will add to her wealth.
You know your promotion of the show is harming trans people.
The rule begins with, âTo maintain a welcoming and inclusive environmentâŚâ
There is nothing inclusive about promoting content that harms marginalized communities, especially when you recognize that the content is doing harm. You donât have the ability to say âI had no idea!â, youâre literally acknowledging that sheâs doing harm.Â
Just say what you really mean. Just say that you donât care about trans people.
Iâm more mad that youâre pretending to be inclusive.
Listen, I loved Harry Potter growing up, I did! I was the same age as Harry as the books came out and it was touching and fun to read.
âŚbut sometimes we need to decouple ourselves from things we used to enjoy when they cause harm.Â
In the case of Harry Potter, itâs not like there arenât other fantasy book series out there, thereâs plenty to choose from! If youâre still consuming Harry Potter content in 2025, just admit that you value your nostalgia more than other peoplesâ lives.Â
At least you wonât be a liar.
