"You have a son? I love children. They are such a blessing in disguise."
Carla glanced over to Jax and smiled. She really liked his rough look. He was different from the men back home. It was time for her to have a little excitement in her life. Even though she was there to work, there was nothing wrong with having fun and enjoying life.
"That would be great. I appreciate you taking time, to take me shopping for the things I need. Having help from your friends would be greatly appreciated. However, I hope that they do not mind taking orders from a woman. I'm not one to put up with anyone getting mouthy with me either. Although I'm the daughter of royalty from Spain, I can be a savage bitch and I make no apologies for it."
Gazing out the window for a moment she pondered on what life would be like in Charming.
"A motorcycle club. Ay..." She turned back to look at him. "Any jealous tramps I need to worry about? I'm looking forward to some cold beers, good food, and getting to know more about you."

Carla gazed out the window of the jet as it descended slowly towards LAX. Her mind had been a whirlwind of images. Everything that happened over the past couple years filled her thoughts. Even though she went away to college in London, nothing could erase the emotions she felt. She tried so hard to forget, but who was she kidding, it would never go away. When her father told her that he wanted to invest in wineries overseas. Carla was more than thrilled to conquer the task. She'd always dreamed of visiting California. Now was her chance and she took it. Being a million miles away from Spain was exactly what she needed. Beaches, Rodeo Drive, and Orange County were some of the places she was excited to visit. Her father had already purchased her a town house in a wealthy suburb outside of Charming. As soon as the jet landed, Carla closed the files she had been reading. Carefully placing them in her bag, she looked around to make sure nothing was left behind. Slipping her heels back on her feet before standing. The heiress of the Marquesado de Caleruega thanked the pilot and others for the flight. Exiting the jet she felt the hot summer heat on her face. It was something she was not use. The weather in Spain was very different.
"Ay dios mío. Este maldito calor va a ser mi muerte." Carla said as she walked towards the sliding doors of the airport.
"Mierda!" She declared loudly. All Carla could think about was lounging around her private pool. At least her father did something right. Entering the airport quickly a gust of cool air hit her. Letting out a deep breath she looked around for the backage claim. Someone was suppose to pick her up, but she had forgotten who. Thirty minutes went by, yet it felt like an eternity, and she finally got her luggage. Hearing her text message notification. She read the text and answered her father. The conversation was brief.
"Who is picking me up?" She asked.
"Gemma Teller. She knows what you look like. I sent her a picture." The text conversation ended before Carla could say or ask anything else. Little did Carla know that her world would turn upside down.

Carla followed him outside and she felt the warm heat hit her face. This was her type of weather. If there was enough time, she planned on lounging out by her pool and soaking up the sun.
"Oh. You have a motorcycle? I ride too. Back home I have a Harley Davidson Street Glide and no it is not pink." She giggles at her comment.
"I wanted to have it shipped out here but decided to just get a new one. Maybe you could take me to look at motorcycles this week. I wouldn't know where to go. I also need to go car shopping soon. I'd like a Range Rover. I need something with plenty of room to move things around from winery to winery. I have so much to do and honestly don't know where to begin. I enjoy a good challenge."
She got into the truck and buckled herself in. Hearing her cell phone ping, she had just gotten a message from Jax's mother.
"Um. Your mother just sent me a text message. She'd like you to take me to the townhouse to drop off my things. She said for me to get ready. To dress casually. We are going to a bbq at the club."
Carla thought for a moment. "Is it a country club, Jax?"

Carla picked up her things from the baggage claim. She was surprised that her father hadn't called. In reality she was pleased. He was quite overbearing at times and she liked her freedom. Checking the time on her cell phone. She looked around to see if anyone was holding a sign with her name. Out of the blue she heard someone calling out her name. Squinting her eyes a bit, she saw a blonde male walking towards. He was a little rough around the edges and very handsome. Her eyes looked him over from head to toe.
"Sí. Soy Carla." She said softly.
"My apologies. I'm use to speaking Spanish. I need to remember that I'm in the United States."
Carla tugged the luggage dolly carrying her luggage.
"It is nice to meet you, Jax. That is a unique name. Let me take a wild guess. Is it short for Jackson?" Carla looked over at him and smiled.
