The angle its filmed from was working well along with the vantage points that made the mini clip look so game-like.

The Grid. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer. What did they look like? Ships? motorcycles? Were the circuits like freeways? I kept dreaming of a world I thought I’d never see. And then, one day…
You got in?
That’s right man, I got in.

Finalisation
It will be fair to say that I have struggled a lot with the quality of my final piece as it required a lot of effort. Eventually, I succeeded in making it in HD format. Putting up the pieces together did not consume as much time and energy as filming them. Overall, this was a wildly useful experience with filming, that I am sure will help me with my future projects.
I think my project meets my expectations to a level that I could merge the two completely different platforms such as film and graphics into one and made it look like an actual short movie. Even though it could have been done much better if I made a better quality and used more bars for the game design. Also, I think I kind of failed on choosing my friends as actors because their acting does not look professional to me at all. However, it is still not as bad as it could have been. I am happy with the outcome because it still helped me bring up my filming and planning skills even though I am still not on the pro level.

This was the website that I purchased my edits from. It helped me a lot in distinguishing what mood I want to create in my game and which designs create which atmospheres.

This movie was the inspiration for my game design. The whole movie helped me think of the filming and design methods for my video.

This is the slogan I came up with that will make the whole idea of the game obvious and clear. The phrase is connected to the outcome of the game the guy was playing so that it is not taken completely out of nowhere.

I thought that painting the design of the game is not as crucial and is going to drag all the attention from the aim of the game. So, instead of wasting time on colorful design, I purchased a very simple translucent one online. I think this was a smart move because the design of the game is not as important to the campaign but I would still prefer it to be visually appealing so that it is still interesting to watch and enjoyable to the eye of the audience. I love the professional look the design has even though it is so plain.

Because I am not going to show how the choices are made I will make the option bar that is chosen go different color so that the option taken is emphasized and pointed out clearly.

This is how the game is going to begin. I really like this layout I might keep it for the final piece like this.

I made this shirt to subtly affect the audiences’ psychology whilst playing this game or watching my clip. This may not be noticed in the beginning but it is definitely seen by the end of the video... I am still working on it but I will make sure the shirt appears multiple times on the clip vividly.

I added a little bit of a storyline to my video so that it is more watchable and interesting to observe. A plain game would not give as much impression on the audience as much as a proper short film would. The video I am making has a proper intro, climax, and a conclusion. The duration is going to be around 3 minutes so that the eye doesn’t get tired of watching and so that it doesn’t get boring at any point. I was not going to create the film bit in the beginning at first but then I thought that without a backstory whats the whole point of this. I changed the idea of the perception a little-so now it is not the game-changing the audience, its a game making the people understand how pointless and unproductive their lives are and how easily all of their points gained and everything could be lost and then their sad reality would step in again. The whole video is a campaign on showing people how much time is wasted while trying to create someone else's ‘perfect life’ rather than their own.

This is the draft version now, which needs much more work to be carried out on it. The quality of the video has been touched up and now its almost HD quality. This is how the video is going to start. The character that is talking is not as important to be seen, it is rather crucial that the audience could clearly hear and understand what she says. The relevance of her presence and her words is going to make sense in the very end.

This is the first image my clip is going to show because it will bring out the concept of my work in a very straightforward way. I want my project to portray a  contrast between the plain film-making and the interactive graphics. I think those two together would make the clip stand out and really unique. Combination of both will make the clip more movie like and professional. I want it to carry an advert vibe to it. So as I go along my storyboard, I will start off with the real-life character and then transfer to the game player. The change in the platforms will be very smooth and subtle so that the audience doesn’t even realize what has happened but understands that they are watching a game after a specific moment in the video.

This is the movie that has helped me a lot with figuring of the correct filming angles and all the bits that made my characters look proffessional.
