hggh the zeb discourse is so weird, like i get that his behavior is manipulative (i’ve dealt with a lot of zebedes in my own life) but the good end explicitly shows you that the confidence you instill is teaching him to fix his behavior AND the whole route functions as character development for the reader who was also being needy and duplicitous with their friends but has now grown.
