Thinking about the minyards middle name in reference to the Bible

Hey... Kevin is the center of AFTG, its soul, the metaphorical representation of the exy.

Do you realize that without Kevin, Neil wouldn't have been recruited? Do you realize that if Wymack wasn't Kevin's father, Kevin wouldn't have gone to the Foxes? He surely would have gone to the Trojans or not left The Nest at all.

But now... more importantly and the proof of because Nora had to write this new trilogy...

Do you realize that Kevin discovered his mother's letter revealing that Wymack is his father... with Jean?

Do you realize that Kevin left The Nest because Jean was there to distract Riko?

Do you realize that if Jean hadn't been there, Kevin wouldn't have gotten out of The Nest and everything else wouldn't have developed?

Jean indirectly pushed the original trilogy by carrying all the surrounding shit on his shoulders.

The steps the Foxes took to beat the Ravens? he got the worst of Riko. Kengo's death as Ichirou rose and Riko's increasingly violent reaction? He received it.

He deserved this trilogy. No one deserved it more than Jean.

Riko, on the other hand, had wanted to kill Wymack for over a year. His restraint could have been fear of his uncle's retribution, but Jean knew the heart of it was Riko's complicated father complex. He'd read Kayleigh's letter nearly as many times as Kevin had. Riko couldn't quite cross that line yet, and he absolutely hated that part of himself.

i do think lola and mary should look similar enough it's uncomfortable (bonus points if neil doesn't remember how mary originally looks and sees a photo of her younger self and is immediately reminded of lola) and i do think to the average person lola and renee smile the exact same way (i.e. extremely sweet and kind and where renee's is sincere lola's is only ever fake) which is where a lot of neil's subconscious distrust of her comes from

Also, there should be one linguistics major among the newbies, who knows like, 40 lang(yeah I'm exataraiting who cares tho), but no one's actually aware of it, cause that's not Jack or smth, that's one of the freshmen girls and just one moment in their first game she goes on some really impressive swearing in like half of the globe languages

Then, realizing that she slipped cause everyone staring at her as if she walks on water, she starts yelling at the whole fucking team, and they're actually so shocked they're like

Okay.

Let's just, ignore that for a sec because the way she swears's actually terrifying and it feels she could kill with a look

Later, after the game, there's a bet settled, a bet that Renne wins, a bet that that one girl knows at least the same amount of languages as the one fox that knows the most(it's either Kevin or Neil idk I'm w Wymack on this it's impossible to remember)

Okay now I want to write about her freshmen year cause she sounds fucking badass

So yeah, headcanons are welcome, especially for her name lmao

I keep thinking back to my Neil  + languages post and frankly, I don’t think I went far enough. I mean, the whole multiple languages thing was mainly use for drama in the books, and the fandom mainly uses it for romance in fic, but have we considered the pure fun of it.

You know what? AU where none of the Foxes speak less than three languages.
